Just really subpar food. Grabbed it for takeout on Mither's Day. Found everything super oily and soaked in sauce. No crispy tempura-battered meats for sweet & sour, the Mongolian beef was mealy. Felt and tasted old, reheated or both. Fried rice looked like it had canned mixed vegetables in it: peas, carrots, Lima beans, you name it. All of it was mushy and unappetizing. They have amazing Kalbi ribs here. Also they have Teriyaki sauce in a big bottle for $7, it's pretty tasty. The inside is pretty cool, they have a piano which is a plus. Disregard the poor reviews, do not hesitate to come here! read more

We have never had a bad experience, and we are regular customers (once every week or so). The spicy beef and chicken is our go-to meal, it has a nice kick to it but isn't unbearable. The fried rice and yakisoba are our other favorites. read more

Eh. Not impressed. Chicken fried rice was gummy and looked like veg all was the veggies. Mongolian beef too saucy, meat fatty, and didn't taste like Mongolian beef. Eggrolls fine. Goyza alright. Spicy chicken teriyaki was ok. read more

The ambiance of this "restaurant" is more like someone's downstairs basement. It is nasty and feels icky to be inside when ordering food or even sitting down, can only imagine what's behind the counter.. surprised this place has lasted as long as it has. read more

Right from the bat when we came in it kinda looked a little sketchy, everything was fine when we ordered but when we sat down at the table it was obvious that they haven't even wiped the tables. When I walked into the bathroom to wash my hands there was a lot of stuff in the corner and I felt that my hands were not even clean when I was using their soap. When we got our food they brought forks as well but they were greasy and had food stains on them, so we asked for plastic forks. The rice tasted like 2nd day served and the meat was hard and felt like it was frozen. This place needs a serious health inspection ASAP. read more

One of the worst disgusting meals of teriyaki I have had. I ordered the general's chicken it was it was dark meat and tasted old and it was filled in with mixed canned vegetables and the rice must have been the end of the pot scorched and dried out. First time here, tried the chicken teriyaki and California roll combo. Sushi was okay, but bland. Teriyaki is bland as well. Feel like it could be tastier with the sauce, but that ended up spilled all over my bag. Need better containers...wasn't very pleased with having to clean my meal before eating it. read more

We called in our order & was told 20 minutes. Arrived to pick up food, was told it would be another 30 minutes. "We very busy". Since they did not have any other employees besides the two owners, we decided to wait in our car for 30 minutes. The kitchen area did not look clean at all. Could be from lack of help in the kitchen? Got food home... it was not good. Ordered Mongolian Beef, General Tso's Chicken, Tofu Teriyaki, Spicy Tuna Roll & Pork Fried Rice. The teriyaki dishes were better than the Chinese dishes. Rule of thumb: do not order anything other than Teriyaki from a Teriyaki restaurant. Me and my family ordered the chicken yakisoba, chicken teriyaki, and an order of gyoza. The chicken that this place lacks quality, rice was overcooked and mushy. Sauce is very runny and lacks flavor. Gyoza was good, but I imagine it's because it's pre-packaged elsewhere and fried up and served. read more

Not terrible, considering it's Granite Falls, but not worth visiting. The owner was very kind. Sushi had mushy rice and strong fish taste.

They have really good Chinese and teriyaki food. We always get to go or call it in and pick up. The people are really nice.

I've been here before, came back for the excellent food. Today however the "I'm just filling in" gal was way over her head and gave my order to someone else. Offered to sell me a new order and comp the sushi roll, but I had to dig out my receipt to prove I already paid. 30 minutes to get my food! I won't beat them with a low rating but I hope she learns or the regular staff comes back soon! read more

The teriyaki was good! But the sushi was probably the worst sushi I've ever had. I couldn't even decipher what was in my roll and I just got a basic shrimp tempura. Let alone it was all rice that tasted like minute rice. I feel bad leaving this review because the guy was working alone and was super busy hence why I waited 20 min AFTER the 15 min he said it would be ready by. This is the only teriyaki place I know that's open on sundays so I had to give it a try. I ordered the beef short ribs and my boyfriend ordered the special of the day which I believe was teriyaki chicken, beef, egg roll, salad, and something else. Everything we had was amazing. Those short ribs were so good I just wish there was more. Felt like there was way too much rice for the small amount of ribs but it was still worth it. read more

I've eaten here for years and the food is always amazing. They have the best teriyaki around and it's such a cute little place. During the power outages that we are experiencing (I'm writing this on Nov. 17, 2015), they are open so that we can get food while the rest of the state is closed. Hidden Teriyaki Gem in the state of Washington!!!! I am a Teriyaki enthusiast and randomly came across this mom and pop operation in Granite Falls during a hiking excursion a few years ago. Hands down, the home made teriyaki sauce that the guy makes here is the best I have ever had. I loved it so much that I purchased a few bottles of the sauce, so I can use it when I cook at home. My husband got the Chicken + Eggroll + Gyoza and it was pretty good. Probably a 4+ star. I got the Swt & Sour Chicken and it was awful. The sweet and sour sauce is blood red and has an obvious vinegar taste. The staff is very friendly and they will take your order via phone so that you can pick it up hot and ready to go.
