Much better after new ownership took over a year ago, the teriyaki chicken is somewhat bland, their sauce needs some work and the chicken needs a little charbroiled. The king pao chicken was better than the teriyaki. This restaurant is slightly better than the other teriyaki chicken place in town but their sauce needs some fine tuning. read more

Food was excellent. Ordered online from menu at their website. Total based on website pricing with 15% tip and 9.1 % sales tax should have been about $70. Total when picking up came to 87.38 (includes 15% tip and 9.1% tax). They said they raised prices (about 33% across the board). They had not changed the prices on the web site. I don't get the hyped.... I walked in and wanted to order something quick after a 17 hours shift and the girl told me that it's a 50 minutes wait.... There were only 5 tickets ahead of me and will take them 50 minutes? I'm not sure if they were racist cause I walked in and no one but white people in there and they know each other's name... oh well, I'll go home and cook up my own authentic Asian food. read more

Likely expired as it tasted a little rotten. The pad Thai was a huge portion but tasted like the smell of a wet dog, no joke. My chicken Katsu was way overcooked and practically burnt and hard. Even the rice was a little crunchy. Lastly, the short ribs were good but a little salty. This place was TRASH. Worst teriyaki place I've ever been too. read more

This place is a dump. Food is shit. Not worth the overpriced cost for food that is no better than trash sitting in a bag for weeks in the roasting hot sun then put on a plate and served as if it is edible. Employees don't care about customers, they won't even eat their own menu. Why should ANYONE pay for this crap?! The new owners are just working to drive this place into the ground. I tried this place a couple times just to try to see if it was going to be just as horrible as it was before their teriyaki sauce is super watery. The chicken is burnt and over cooked the rice was like it was sitting there all day I haven't and won't return here again if you want a good teriyaki place go to teriyaki café.! read more

I am so sorry that I haven't reviewed my most frequently visited teriyaki spot! I think their Chinese food and teriyaki are great! My favorites here are the chicken noodle soup and tempura prawns. Friendly and accommodating service. Out group had the short ribs, Mongolian beef, teriyaki chicken special, and garlic chicken. Every dish had the best ingredients--crisp vegetables on the stir fry, great sauce on the short ribs. The garlic chicken was kind of bland and could have used a generous addition of garlic but the ingredients were fine and it perked up with the addition of Siracha chili sauce. Meh. The shrimp fried rice was okay after we doused it with hot mustard. The orange chicken was a total joke. We tossed 3/4 of it in the garbage where it belongs. Super bland sauce & the ratio of chicken to breading is just sad ... you'd be better off buying it in a bag in the frozen food section. I walked through the doors the first time armed with my appetite for good teriyaki, and low expectations. Because, let's be honest, it's in Granite Falls. 1. The place is small, but clean. 2. The service was nice and spoken in fluent English. 3. There were several repeat customers in there that were greeted by name. 4. The Oriental Short Ribs were prepared much better than they were spelled on the sign. I'm picky about Korean Short Ribs, and these were good! All in all, I was pleasantly surprised, I enjoyed the whole experience, and I will be back. read more

The veggies are usually overcooked, the rice is always a sticky blob, and the teriyaki sauce is cloyingly sweet. We used to dine here because son thinks their almond fried chicken is good but he grew up and moved out of the house so there's no reason to go there anymore. read more

Not good. The salad dressing was sweet and looked and tasted like maple syrup. It was so runny it soaked into the rice as well.
