Not very good at all. :(
Marques O.

Well to be fair, I got exactly what I ordered. chicken and beef teriyaki, it was just Meh at best. Zero effort in the quality of food. The meat isnt fresh, and way over priced for the quality and experience. I wont be back again.

Refried chicken katsu; tough meat.

It had been a while since my last stop in so I decided to drop by on my lunch break. I ordered the chicken katsu bento box; chicken katsu, tempura, and California rolls. The breading on the tempura was soggy and stale. The chicken katsu was not fresh. It was clearly prepared at an earlier time and refried to order. I could tell because the exposed chicken was dark brown and the meat was very tough. I could not finish my meal. Disappointing way to spend $16.

In front of the restaurant.

Can't think of one thing wrong other then it's pretty expensive but it's really worth what you pay for depending on your taste.

Katana is one of our favorite higher end sushi spots and always has a great date night vibe. It was super busy for the holiday, but the staff handled it really well and everything came out quickly. We ordered the shishito peppers, calamari, and spicy tuna roll from the HH menu, plus the 12th Man roll and shrimp tempura roll. Definitely recommend coming during happy hour because the prices are great and the portions are still full size. We'll have to come back after the baby arrives so I can fully enjoy the experience (and cocktails)

Our server was warm and walked us through the menu, helping us decide on the cracked out bluefin for an appetizer and a variety of rolls. The bluefin was the best part of our meal. Spicy, flavorful, and the wonton chips were a fun addition. The other rolls, however, didn't feel of the highest quality. We were super excited about the crispy firecracker, but the roll lacked salmon and wasn't a bit spicy. Overall, I probably wouldn't return here. For the price point, there are better options in the area.

For starters we shared the Coconut Firecracker Shrimp (qty 6) for $14 and the Chicken Karaage for $13: Japanese fried chicken drizzled with spicy mayo; served with lemon. My girlfriend ordered the Shrimp Pho for $17: Beef broth, rice noodles, yellow onion, green onion and cilantro; served with bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalapeño, lime, sriracha and hoisin sauce. Her husband ordered the Rainbow Roll for $18: Imitation crab salad, avocado, cucumber, sushi rice and nori topped with avocado, yellowfin tuna and salmon. My wife and I shared the Ninja Roll for $23: Salmon, avocado, cucumber, tuna, spicy mayo, unagi, sushi rice and nori, topped with unagi sauce and tobiko. Service was quick and efficient. The food was decent and fairly priced. I will dine at Journey's East again when at the casino; however, I wouldn't choose Journey's East if not specifically at the casino.

Great Selection, reasonably priced for a Casino Restaurant. Highly recommend!
