If you haven't tried Katana in Everett, it's a must! We stopped in on Monday and had the best experience great service, and our waiter was super friendly and helpful! Now onto the food we started with Gyoza and Chicken Karaage, which came with spicy mayo...so good! My mom and I both ordered the bento box I got chicken teriyaki, and she had chicken katsu. It also includes salad, two gyoza's, sushi rolls and fried tempura. The portions were huge, and we definitely had leftovers. My BF ordered two sushi rolls cucumber, and spicy tuna roll and said they were delicious!

I have been a couple times & both experiences have been fantastic. The food is always fresh & delicious with quick & attentive service. It's a comfortable relaxed atmosphere good for everyone.

Wish I found this place sooner! I made a reservation just in case but it does seem to be a busy dinner spot! Each roll is made fresh and the service is great! I do want to check out their happy hour in the future !

It's hard to find good Asian food in Everett but this place didn't disappoint. We got pork gyoza and calamari for appetizers. Both were as expected, though the calamari came with lime instead of lemon, which was odd. We got 3 rolls. They were rolled pretty loose but fillings and toppings were good.

We had our first experience here in early 2026 and we really enjoyed it. All of the sushi was very fresh tasting and very well executed. The menu is extensive and has a great selection classic Japanese and Japanese/American fare. This is likely our new go-to sushi place from Everett north.

We took our son out to celebrate his 20th birthday, and Katana Sushi made it a night to remember! We walked in without much of a plan (because that's how birthdays are supposed to go, right?) and somehow scored a reservation within half an hour -- fate was already on our side. The vibe inside is super cute and cozy -- way bigger than it looks from the outside. It's like walking into a hidden treasure chest full of sushi dreams. Our waitress and server were both amazing -- patient, friendly, and ready to answer my million questions about the menu without even flinching. (Seriously, I should've tipped extra just for my menu interrogation.) I went a little wild and ordered takoyaki (because how could I not??), a board special, and tuna sashimi, plus a cocktail to toast the birthday boy. The food? Absolutely fresh, flavorful, and worth every single bite. I was so excited for the takoyaki that I bit into it without thinking... immediate mouth burn. Zero regrets. Totally worth it. I'm now on a mission to convince all my friends that takoyaki is life. Meanwhile, our son managed to conquer three different sushi rolls, and judging by his happy, full stomach afterward, I'd say it was a success. Katana Sushi, you have officially won us over. We can't wait to come back -- next time, maybe I'll let the takoyaki cool down. Maybe.

This place is awesome!!! The sashimi with jalapeños was so good. We tried a bunch of items, some of which I didn't take pictures of (my bad ) but we were so hungry. Parking is on the street so you have look around for a little bit. The place has a very rustic look and feel. Service was great, it wasn't that busy though at the time we went. Overall... excellent!!!

I used to not like sushi, but wow does this place change your mind. The bomb flavors and unique rolls make a badass experience every few weeks with new combinations and bold flavor. Don't even question going for sushi here, you will not be disappointed! Friendly staff, fresh delish sushi, not overpriced. Don't go basic with your selections, get their specials! Crispy firecracker, super rainbow, angry tiger, sunrise roll-- and don't turn down their board specials!

Definitely enjoyed lunch date with my friend, sashimi and sushi tasted really fresh, loved it all. Great service as well, friendly staff and tasteful decor. Will definitely come back here if we're in the area

Happy Hour Sushi + Calamari!

My girl friend and I came for happy hour on a Saturday! Most Japanese places I know don't have happy hour so this was great! We were seated at the back and tbh, wish there were a bit more lights around bc it was a bit hard to see. However the food was a delight! Calamari as the appetizer, poke salad and 2 rolls. It was delicious! Service was attentive and it's next to Terracotta Red, another favorite (:

When we got here the place was really packed that we didn't know we'd get a place to sit but hey sat us at the bar. The service was pretty quick still. It was a very clean space but for saying it is business casual the place looks more like a bar to me on the inside, I assume because we sat at the bar??? Anyways the sushi was really good, I think adding the black sesame seeds were a good touch and added a bit more flavor to my spicy tuna rolls. I got the E-roll as well and they were both on the happy hour! They were really tasty! I also got the winter drink "hot buttered rum", omg that was good! It came in a sake like pour glass and it hit the spot! We will come again!

Bulgogi sliders with zucchini tempura

Came here on a Friday evening before going to a graduation. I made a reservation for 6:15pm through Open Table, but arrived about a half hour early. The hostess was super friendly and checked us in, and we were seated right away. Lucky for us, we caught the tail end of Happy Hour. We ordered things from both the HH menu and regular menu. From the HH menu, we ordered yam fries and fried calamari. The yam fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside, with a slightly sweet taste - they were really good! The fried calamari had both rings and tentacles. My wife hates the tentacles, but it all tastes the same to me...so more for me :-). It comes with two different sauces, both of which were really good. I forget what was in them, but I wanna say one was creamy with a wasabi taste (my favorite of the two), and the other was like a sweet/sour taste. I give these a 4/5. I think the oil was a bit too fresh. You know, kinda like how when McDonald's decided to change their oil more often? The fries were still good...but they're not as good as they were in the 80's and 90's. Somehow using the oil for longer periods of time made it taste better. I know...gross :-) From the regular menu, we ordered bulgogi sliders, chicken katsu, and udon with tempura. The bulgogi sliders were delicious! The meat was both sweet and savory, and the added slaw mix gave it a great balance of taste. It also came with some zucchini tempura. Similar to the calamari, the tempura on the zucchini could have either been fried a bit longer, or used older oil. Haha. But I give these sliders a 5/5. The katsu was nice and crispy on the outside, but the meat was a bit tough. I give that a 3/5. The udon didn't seem like anything special, but it was a big bowl. The soup base a miso soup I believe...and that tasted really good IMO. Combining that with some tempura was a good mix. I give that combo a solid 4/5. What really made this a great experience though were the great staff. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. The ambiance was an added bonus. From the outside, you wouldn't think much of this place. But the inside was nicely decorated and clean.

Will this restaurant make their rolls Naruto style, or wrapped in cucumber instead of with rice? I live and miss sushi but I don't eat rice or other carbs. Anyone have experience with this?

I noticed someone at the neighboring table order off the item stuff so I'm sure they'll accommodate. 😊

All of the sushi rolls are good. I always order the rainbow roll wherever I go, this one is decent but missing something. The sushi in general like I said was good, but also did not stand out to me. The chicken karange was like crispy pillows of chicken, did not need any sort of sauce in my opinion, but to each their own. The kalbi ribs were also cooked perfectly and were downright mouth watering.
