Love love love that my family found this gem while in town! We've tried a couple teriyaki places because of hearing it's BIG here in the Seattle area. We'll, we weren't disappointed. We came here on Tuesday evening around 7:30. The sweet woman at the counter was extraordinarily nice and helped us pick from the menu. You order up at the counter and take it to a table. Our dinner consisted of chicken teriyaki (surprised?), chicken yakisoba and a chicken and shrimp combo. Everything was amazing! The place has plenty of seating for a little storefront. It's super clean, neat and very comfortable. The condiments sitting on the table were all very clean, not sticky! Eighties music was playing (I was happy - my kids were cringing lol) and the lighting was not too bright, not too dark. All in all it was very comfortable. We sat there laughing after we'd finished and wasn't pressured to leave. The woman came over a couple times to see if we needed anything else. She was very conscientious. Thank you Tokyo Teriyaki, we'll come back to visit next time we're in town. And we'll suggest you to anyone who's going to be close to Everett! See you soon ....

It doesn't look fancy, but the food is amazing and the staff very friendly. My Bento box was better than one from a fancy restaurant. David had the perfect sweet and sour chicken. The food was so delicious. I highly recommend this place.

I've been coming here for years but just started writing reviews. The sweet and sour chicken was surprisingly delicious! The owner recommended it and said it wouldn't disappoint - she was right. The teriyaki is also always on point! Comes with a side salad. Great teriyaki joint!

Quality teriyaki, reasonable pricing. Quick stop and dine in vibe. Outdated inside, located downtown near other eateries. Food is the focus.

Everything is fine but the boba drinks so bad, it tastes like water with syrup and sugar.

Good, just not the most impressive chicken. Also I ordered the spicy chicken, which might have looked darker but certainly was not spicy.

All of the sushi rolls are good. I always order the rainbow roll wherever I go, this one is decent but missing something. The sushi in general like I said was good, but also did not stand out to me. The chicken karange was like crispy pillows of chicken, did not need any sort of sauce in my opinion, but to each their own. The kalbi ribs were also cooked perfectly and were downright mouth watering. We also started off with the edamame which was salted well, most places just have it on the top and miss the mark throughout the rest of the dish. Service was decent. Overall, Kiyama Sushi is overpriced serving underwhelming food. We will not return.
