L to R: spicy tuna, Hawaiian, crunchy, eel roll
    Margot C.

We stopped in here the other night for dinner. The place was pretty empty around 730. It's a bit off the beaten path, so we wouldn't have ever found this place if it wasn't for Yelp. Service was fairly quick and friendly. We ordered a few rolls to split. We got the crunchy roll, spicy tuna roll, eel roll, and Hawaiian roll. The best roll was the spicy tuna one. The spicy tuna had the perfect amount of spice and the fish seemed fresh. The other rolls were fine but nothing extraordinary. Everything seemed fresh but I didn't love their fake crab salad. The prices were also a bit high. The meal overall was fine but nothing special. We will probably end up back at Momo up the street since we feel their sushi is better and more reasonably priced.

I was surprised with how big was the fish on sushi! All sushi and sashimi tasted very fresh and yummy. Service is quite good. Seats are spacious though not very comfortable. Overall speaking it's a very very nice sushi place.

A great place to have sushi! Every time I come here, the sushi has been very enjoyable. Great to bring family, friends, or even a date. The sushi chef is a great guy and always has a smile on his face whenever I come in. He definitely enjoys what he does and aims to please you with his sushi. The quality of the fish is quite good, so the restaurant is worth coming back to.

We went around noon on Saturday. The restaurant was completely dead, we were the only table plus 1 person there ordering to go. It's in a good location off 164th St with plenty of parking. The service was good. I just wasn't very impressed with the flavor of the roll. My bf did like his combo set, said the nigiri was fresh. I used to come here a lot when it first opened and it used to be busy, not sure if COVID affected people coming back in to eat.

Tried: Bay Scallop Roll, Scorched Salmon Roll, Kaarage Came for a quick dinner with my cousin and really enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant. It was pretty empty so it was nice to enjoy a chat with my cousin whilst enjoying the sushi and kaarage. I would definitely come back for the rolls, a little pricey though. The kaarage was decent nothing too special however. If you're just craving some sushi I would reccomend because it really does fill you up!

We went there on a Friday night and it was empty. We were the only ones in there the whole time. The place was chilly, no heater on. The service from our waiter was okay - only checked on us at the end when we were finished. Food was nothing spectacular, it was just basic sushi even though we ordered the special rolls. Not sure we will go back.

Ordered for takeout, and freak yes it was delicious! It was ready within 20 minutes of us placing our order, so the wait was nothing. We decided to do pickup, though we ordered through Uber Eats. We did 5 pieces of albacore and salmon sashimi and the quality was great, so fresh and they were healthy sized slices. For rolls we did a california, rainbow, ichi roll and jalapeño teck, which was my personal favorite! That one didn't have any rice and was just fried on the jalapeño, and I could have ate a whole tray of those alone. Great job Wasabi Bay, this hit the spot! Felt it was a very good value too, we easily fed our family of 4.

July Wednesday the 14th 2021 At around 6:10 pm (Male server ) So we went in and there were only two other tables. When the waiter came over we asked which appetizers were good, because it was our first time there. He was very rude and said just pick one all of them are good. So we ordered hot sake to start out. Twenty five minutes later our sake never came nor did he come to ask what appetizer would we like. I worked in the restaurant industry for more then ten years. I know when I see a rude waiter and careless. You have to pour the bottle of sake in another small sake bottle to microwave it for a minute or a minute and a half . It doesn't take that long! We decided to get up and walk out. And use our money somewhere else. We will never return. We suggest you skip this restaurant and the bad experience.

We came in the evening after day 2 of Geekfest and it was pretty busy inside. Luckily there was a spot open for two so we were seated and given menus. The inside is a bit dim, there were lots of tables with chairs or booth seats throughout, and there was even bar seating as well. My boyfriend ordered tonkotsu ramen and crunchy salmon roll as well as takoyaki to share while I got their red volcano tonkotsu and a Thai iced tea. I noticed there was a Japanese customer who spoke with one of the waitresses and she spoke Japanese back and it was cool to see and hear that! I wonder if the owners are Japanese as well as it's rare to find actual Japanese owned restaurants. The service here was friendly, courteous and they did check in every so often. The choice of music playing was quiet cafe music which was interesting but it was so hard to hear. My Thai iced tea came first then the takoyaki. Afterwards, our ramen bowls came not too long after that and the sushi roll came in last. I am so happy to say that the takoyaki was the perfect ratio of batter, octopus, and sauces on top. The ramen broth was hearty and smooth. I loved how spicy my red volcano tonkotsu was especially because I love things extremely spicy and it was definitely a fantastic ramen for spicy lovers. My boyfriend said he was very happy with his roll and ramen. He usually doesn't order ramen too often especially on a hot day but he said he was happy he did as it was one of the better ones he's had. My Thai iced tea was the right amount of sweetness and the perfect thing to sip on while handling my spicy ramen. I definitely want to come back to try their other selections.

The chirashi bowl came loaded with quality sashimi over well-seasoned rice, generous portions without feeling sloppy. If you're looking for legit sushi north of Seattle instead of the usual over-sauced nonsense, this place delivers.
