The sushi was very good. The portion they serve are large. Usaully when you go to a sit down all you can eat sushi place they will give you 3 to 5 pieces of sushi but here if you order like a Philly Roll you get the whole roll. For me I like that they do that cause im a big eater and just want certain rolls but I can see if one would just want the smaller prices to try everything. Sushi tasted good ans fresh but I did order a salmon skin hand roll and it was over cooked. I was a but thrown off of who was serving and owning the restaurant as it was not a Japanese ir Korean own sushi joint but Mexican or some sort of Latin. The price to me is the down side. I think its too pricy for all you can eat. A more reasonable price and normal to say would be 28 an hour. All and all I give it a 4 stars for the food given the salmon skin was over cooked and a 2 star for the price. read more

This place is awful! The AYCE option is now $45 after tax, which is more than any other buffet in the area. Feast, Sumo, and Sushi AYCE are cheaper. It's not truly all you can eat. They will conveniently ignore requests for menu items, or tell you "we're out of that" if you order too many of something. They were really quick about serving high filler items though. Go figure. On their menu they list the California roll as containing crab, as opposed to Krab which is generally used to describe imitation Krab meat or Krab meat salad. The cost of inflation has hit and its not pretty. The same items that used to be $35 for Sushi buffet are not $40 and with tax it goes up to $45. I can't afford it!!! This used to be a good place to go get sushi. But my appetite hasn't changed so I normally can order 3 plates of sushi and 3 appetizers. (S.O.B., Dragon Roll, Nobody's Home and possibly a Cody Roll) With each plate costing around $15 that is around $60 value and I am paying $35+ tax so its around $45 when all is said and done. The appetizers are usually the Mussel, miso soup, and calamari. So that is just gravy on top. But with the price increase to $40 ($45 after tax) it just isnt worth it anymore. So there are a few things about Sushi Ring you need to know before you get there. First, when you get there, don't let the look of the place steer you away. The staff is not the friendliest but in all our years of going there, we realize that is just how they are. They are actually very nice and hard-working people when you get to know them. I had to take off one star mainly because of the look of the place, but I can get past it for enjoyable all-you-can-eat sushi. It could use a little refresh in the dining room and maybe a good cleaning of the menus (it's a little sticky). We go there for the all-you-can-eat sushi. The sushi quality is pretty good and we enjoy it there. I come here for the upside-down shrimp (shrimp with rice on it and covered with creamy scallops). It is so good, and not many sushi restaurants have this option. I have to clap my hands with happiness when I have the upside-down shrimp. So here it goes. I went in the day before. I ordered. I ate and now I'm sitting here with food poisoning. Starting feeling cramps and other symptoms just a couple hours after eating. I had nothing else to eat but sushi the whole day. I should've known better just by looking at some of the fish in the cold case. Looked old and been sitting in its liquid for a couple of days. It could've been anything. The fish, the calamari or the mussels. I wonder if the guy in the back making the appetizers even wore gloves. There was once when I saw the lady pick up the phone and forgot to change her gloves and continued on making hand rolls for the other guests. I was there by myself at first, but then 2 other guests came in followed by 3 more. Luckily, the lady had help arriving the same time as these other guests. The service was good, everyone was friendly. I definitely can tell which lady people has been talking about in their reviews being mean. She seemed very serious, but I think that's just how she is. Place was a little dirty, but not bad. I don't think I'll eat here again though. It was the conscious of ordering AYCE. I don't think they're meant to be AYCE honestly as a family owned restaurant. It was something that wasn't right about it. 2 star because the service was not bad, but I did get sick. By the way the cream cheese was so much in the hand roll, it did not belong in it. The food was outstanding! I absolutely fell in love with the all you can eat option and tried lots of different rolls! An absolute luxury, but keep in mind that it will cost 40 USD after tax. I enjoyed the salmon nagiri, caterpillar rolls, calamari, pink roll, rainbow roll, another I forgot, and I believe another. All of them were plain delightful. ;) If I purchased all those rolls individually, it would cost me roughly 90 USD or something. So, I got my money's worth. Well, in reality this restaurant is a gimmick like all of the buffets. They fill you up on carbs and your beverage of choice to make you full. But, it's still the best deal I know of in the pacific northwest by far. Going to other sushi places would cost a fortune for 5 different rolls. *not a traditional "buffet"* One immediate pro to this place is that not everyone in your party must order the AYCE option. They can choose to order a la carte as long as you don't share with them. I'm bouncing between 4 and 5 here but honestly, I'm not sure what all the other complaints about service are. Came in a group of 6, we each split rolls in pairs and had solid service. It's crazy that there are two main chefs preparing sushi for the customers as well as take-out orders and it is noticeable as there's downtime waiting for food, but it's understandable. As noted above, it's not a traditional buffet where you go and grab food as you wish. You're served as you get to order all you can eat from a menu. You can get started with any appetizers and order them at any time. They're prepared in the kitchen so they'll be faster. However, they're lesser quality as you'd expect so wasn't really a focus of our visit. We didn't try any hand rolls as we focused on the long rolls the entire time, but do know that you can get the hand rolls as "long rolls" too, just the special rolls interested us more. What was most interesting to me was the squid nigiri which is uncooked. I've never seen it offered anywhere and usually get cooked squid (i.e. calamari) so it was a very unique opportunity. For those who aren't willing to try - well there's an outer membrane that's hard like a vegetable and then it's slimy underneath. Not the best description, but it's something. Main issues are that they lack seared salmon options, the price can be seen as a tad high, and the prep time can lead to long downtime. Our chef, Marco I believe, was amazing and friendly the entire time. Ready our barrage of orders and he remembered 90% of them too. Pretty crazy to think of when you have 6 people requesting different items on top of the to-go orders he was preparing. The time limit given is 1 hour and we got our checks after that had passed, but weren't rushed out. There wasn't a line or anything so that must've helped but I understand being rushed when there are others waiting. The interior is small and they want to serve others and the 1 hour limit is specified from the get go. -- items -- Double Crunch Roll - interesting take on the traditional double crunch roll, you're given more crunch flakes dusted on top of a roll with tempura shrimp and crab salad. Special Roll - not sure if this rotates but inclined to believe so as there are no ingredients shown. What we got was a crunchy roll with crab salad, cream cheese, and avocado. Cody Roll - lemon adds a unique twist as it's hidden under the salmon on top. Very evident in the taste but the mixture is surprising and helps reset your taste buds. I'd opt for this in the middle of a rotation rather than start with it. S.O.B. - yummy roll, four kinds of fish with a creamy spicy mayo, nothing to complain about or note. Pink Cadillac - tuna is more overwhelming in this roll but avocado is relevant too, wasn't a big hit. Nobody's Home - one of my top picks, it takes a little longer because it needs to be baked but the result is a hot roll with delicious scallops on top. I'm not a big fan of cream cheese in sushi, but it was negligible with all the other amazing flavors. Nick's Rock Belly - one of our least favorite options, there was a light sauce on top that deterred us. It's definitely edible and not that bad, but the sauce on top is some sort of watered down mango juice or other fruit juice that simply didn't pair well (at least to us). Stacy & Joe Roll - one of our favorites, probably above Nobody's Home. A perfect creaminess with avocado on top of the roll and other ingredients placed inside. Would get multiple. Three Stooges - did not order this explicitly but a pair in the party did and it was similar to barbecue chips. I suppose that's part of the smoked salmon, not a bad thing just something that stood out in first impressions. read more

Absolutely disgusting! The restaurant was so dirty and the customer service was so very poor. This place used to be actually pretty good and now it is terrible. I went with a friend because she said "This place was really good!" I can tell you, it is no longer even close to that. When I first called I asked for the Dragon Roll, Hot Mama Roll, and the Arigato Roll. The lady who answered the phone was very rude and I didn't even get to finish what I was saying before she said "Ok, bye." Already to a not so great start. I waited about 10-15 minutes and I walk into the restaurant and I was absolutely disgusted by the crumbs on the floor and the dirty dishes left by the sushi bar. Come to find out that is where one of the workers was eating her own personal food. I say "Here for a pickup order." And the lady who took the order over the phone didn't say a single word to me. NOT ONE!! I walk back to my car and open the containers (not labeled so I had no idea what I was eating) and the sushi rolls looked terrible and they were not what we ordered. The Dragon Roll looked old and none of it looked fresh. NOT ONE PIECE LOOKED FRESH! We continued to try the other two rolls to see if they were good and they were terrible so we couldn't return those at all but we could return the Dragon Roll (Pictured) I return to the restaurant and asked what I was eating and pointed to the grey colored "fish" and I was told it was fresh eel. I have had eel and that was repulsive. It was purely skin and I mentioned that and she said "Oh yeah, eel skin." She had no idea what she was talking about. I asked for my money back and I got refunded and as I was waiting for my refund I looked through the kitchen (you can see a tiny bit of it from the counter) and there was what looked like nasty fish on the ground and food. Came here for all you can eat sushi on a weekday afternoon. It was our first time here so wasn't sure what to expect. There was only a few other people when we arrived. We were told to seat ourselves and the server there seemed annoyed the moment she saw us coming in. She hardly said a word when she came to our table with menus and took our order. While we waited for our food in between orders she just sat at the bar area watching stuff on her phone or texting. Whenever we'd ask for something she would act like we were inconveniencing her. The only time she'd get up was to drop off an order or if someone walked in. Halfway through our meal another server arrived and she acted the exact same way. Neither of them smiled once or made any eye contact the entire time. We had orders we were still waiting for and they asked us if we still wanted them to make it. (I thought that was strange considering we had just started) When we said yes they again acted annoyed with us. I noticed that they were this way towards other customers as well. Their negative attitudes and energy ruined the whole experience. It's also not the cleanest place. Prices are okay. The only positives was the sushi chef was friendly and the food was decent. The food came out fairly quickly too. I wouldn't come back here again. Other things to note for all you can eat: They will charge you if you have any left overs including rice. They also charge for babies 1 year and up! 1 year? That's crazy to me because how much sushi or food on their sushi menu could a 1 year old possibly eat? read more

This is our favorite sushi restaurant hands down in the Everett WA area. They are located along Silver Lake in South Everett. Service can be hit or miss at times but the sushi is always solid. We've traditionally always gone for their all you can eat sushi. They offer a wide variety of appetizers and sushi. My very favorites are the SOB roll and Cody roll. I have been going here for 20 years, back since Elvis was there. The environment there used to be so fun. Now, this place has gotten horrible with customer service. 2 weeks ago we were there with friends and the service was horrible and what happened today, made me walk out of there immediately and will never go back. I know lots of people that eat there too and will be letting them know about what went down, at lease 40 people. I took my 3 kids there today to enjoy some sushi. There was a family sitting there with they're 2 children on a big table. There was another table 10 feet away but they said it is too close for some reason, so they asked us to seat by the bars on 2 separate tables. They said that the 2 doing all you can eat have to sit on one table and the other 2, my 11 year old and 5 year old on another table. I told the older lady I need my 5 year old to sit with me so I can keep an eye on her and she got all upset and raised her voice and said that I need to follow her rules like she thinks I am going to give my 5 year old from my all you can eat order. How are you going to tell a parent to sit separate from her younger children just cause you have trust issues. She was so rude that my 11 year old even said that she doesn't want to eat here anymore. The sushi there is presto plain anyways. Take your money elsewhere, the way they treat customers is shameful. read more
