The positive part was the sweet and sour chicken was still very warm when it reached my house…read more The vegetable chow mein was not. It is a huge portion but it is completely devoid of any flavor whatsoever. Usually onions add something but that did not help. I don't know how you can mess up noodles but no one in my family would eat them and there is one person in my family that will manage to eat almost anything and they refused. The sweet and sour chicken was drowning in sauce even though we asked more than once for the sauce to be on the side. We liked the bell peppers and onions in the sauce. The chicken pieces were of decent size. I did not care for the sauce. The white rice was well made and fluffy. The rice was probably the best part of the dish. About an hour later, we ended up throwing up the food. A complete waste of $31 dollars (which is pricey for what was supposed to be a lunch special). Also, vegetable chow mein and chicken chow mein is the same price which we found out after we had paid. Lunch is pictured and mention to include soup BUT you only get soup if you dine in. The place looked clean the the people seemed friendly. We may give them one more chance bc of the friendly service.

Ordered spicey sour dumplings as an appetizer. Was hoping for a little more flavor honestly. For entres we ordered Basil Beef with Ginger Sauce ( great presentation), a Basil Beef dish and a side of pickled veg fried rice. Staff was very friendly and offered choices. Plenty od seating with a pleasant ambiance. Hot tea was good as well. And Plenty left over for lunch tomorrow.

Used to frequent KN 10 years ago. I cannot believe how a decade later the food quality and portion…read moresize didn't change one bit. Still delicious like how we remembered it! So glad this place survived after Covid. The seafood shaved noodle was solid. You get shrimp, squid and scallops. $13.95. Really? We are floored! Husband said it was exactly the same and he enjoyed it! He finished his whole plate. Impressed with the large portion!! Shrimp was huge! Instead of seafood, I asked to sub with chicken. Server said no problem! The chicken slices were super tender and juicy and the shaved noodle texture was perfection. It was a bit bland but nothing a lil' table soy can't fix. Only $11.95 for a huge platter. I was super hungry and cleaned my plate but for most, there'd be leftovers. Mapo tofu with white rice. The sauce had too much corn starch and the meat texture was not my favorite. I've had better but when you have spicy sauce over fluffy rice, it can be mediocre and still be satisfying..Would rather have this for my work lunch than Marie Callendar's any day. Pan fried pot stickers 8 pieces $7.95. Delicious. It's the thin skin kind. Classic, you can't go wrong! I can't eat fried stuff nowadays but their fried chicken wings were the best. Plump, juicy and piping hot! I am sure it's still amazing! They have lots of other menu items. On a colder day, I would go for the custom noodle soup bowls for $12.95. (Choose noodle, broth, 2 veg and 2 proteins). Duck noodle soup sounds amazing. For more topping, I think it's $2.25 per extra topping. One of the few places where most everything is below $15 per entree item and nothing above $20. I would like to try their oxtail noodle soup, sizzling beef or chicken platter, teriyaki short ribs, beef chow fun, and black bean noodle dish next time. Interior is clean with pleasant Cantonese Chinese music, free waters, and guava candy when you pay. The evergreen Asian supermarket next door has a lot of Asian grocery goodies with a Vietnamese deli inside. Durian is on sale for $4.29 a pound. Yes, you can get durian in Everett! Impressive! Worth the drive to get good Chinese then shop next door.

The dinner combo included almond chicken, chow mein , a beef with veggie stir fry and egg rolls. The shu mai is huge! Worth the price, I'm not sure if they grind their own pork but there were a couple fat pieces in the filing, which we didn't mind. The har gow were also very good. The combo dinner hit the spot. I had been craving noodles and American style Chinese. The almond chicken hit the spot. We enjoyed that the beef veggie stir fry had snap peas and water chestnuts! The combo also came with egg flower soup! What a quality value this combo was. This dinner hit the spot for us.

Jade Garden has a lounge but it was dark and disorganized on our visit so we sat in the empty dining room. Large parties can be accommodated. Round dining tables encourage all to participate in conversations. Lunch menu is offered daily, from 11:00am-3:00pm (closed Tuesday's). Jade Garden offers a full bar. While looking over the menu, I sipped on a glass of Chardonnay for $8. We shared an order of BBQ Pork (12pc) for $13.95. My dad ordered the House Special Chow Mein with Shrimp for $22.95. My daughter ordered hot pot Shrimp with Vermicelli & Vegetables for $21. I ordered Kung Pao Prawns for $21. We all shared an order of Sauteed Dried String Beans for $16.95. Portions seemed small, especially the Chow Mein and Green Beans compared to other Chinese restaurants. Food was good. Staff was friendly. I plan on take-out the next time. The entirely empty and quiet restaurant felt extremely awkward and uncomfortable to me. The dark lounge was odd. I literally had to check the time to ensure we didn't arrive at closing time, which indeed we did not. I would recommend at the very minimum to play some background music at a low volume.

Beef stew noodles (5 star) came with a huge bowl with 12-15 big slices of tender beef, a lot of excellent noodes and the beef stew broth were so delicious and that I drank all the broth. The wonton noodles soup (5 star) with 12 to 15 pieces of wonton. The wonton soup has tasty broth, yummy wonton and a lot of excellent noodles. It is their specialty and they do it well, from the skin to the fillings. In my opinion, they are much better than dough zone. However, their pot stickers, steamed, and boiled ones, are all the same type, so be aware not to order too many dumplings, mix in some noodle or pancakes dishes to avoid one note. My only complaint to the menu is they don't offer much wide veggie dishes. The only thing is the cucumber salad, which is only a ok dish.
