I always enjoy restaurants that have round dining tables; encourages engaging conversation from all seated. Frying Lemon Fish does not have a full bar but they do serve wine and beer. The food menu is considerable with an array of dishes. While looking over the menu, I sipped on a glass of 14 Hands Chardonnay for $7.95 and my daughter sipped on a glass of Plum wine for $6.95. We shared a cup of Egg Drop Soup for $2.50; Frying Lemon Fish version has corn kernels in it which the menu did not list. We shared the Spicy & Sour Dumplings for $10.95. We both thought the dumplings were tasty. I chose the Mongolian Chicken for my entrée for $16.95; savory chicken breast and onions in a garlic sauce. Delicious. My daughter chose the Basil Beef with Ginger Sauce for $18.95 as her entrée. Sliced beef with onions, red peppers, green peppers and fresh basil leaves. She enjoyed her choice. To round out our meal, we shared Dry Cooked String Beans for $16.95; blistered beans stir-fried savory. Yummy. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, we both enjoyed the food. Prices are fair. Portions sizes are honest. We will return gain.

Despite all that, we stayed to dine in and ordered one individual combo #1, sui mai, and combo appetizer platter. The booths are comfy. It took awhile to get our food. Normally at every other Chinese restaurant, the hot and sour soup comes out really quickly. It was around 5 minutes. Hubby says it was good. There were 8 other people here so not busy looking although I saw that they're handling to-go orders too. In fact, there was a sign at the entry that said to-go orders only. No dine-in. The lady said today dine-in is ok. Food was good.

I was so looking forward to enjoying this when I got home but I couldn't even force myself to like it because of how hard it was.

Ordered 3 dishes for the 2 of us and have many leftovers for the coming days. Portions stuffed the to go containers and the food was hot and tasty. Chicken Lo Mein - 3 Star spicy. The chicken was super tender in this dish. Great flavor Bbq Pork Fried Rice - 4 Star spicy - Great ratio of pork. General Tso's Chicken - 4 Star spicy Great flavor and Spice. Good texture. We got a free item with our order and picked the Spring Rolls. They were crunchy and tasty. We asked for spice to be added to the noodles and rice dishes. 4 Star Spicy was perfect, got the sinuses running and added the kick we look for.

I ordered the Beef & Broccoli. Unfortunately, it wasn't my favorite. The beef was very thick and a little too fatty for me. My boyfriend started with the Kalbi Short Ribs and said they were really good. He also ordered the Karaage Catfish, which was delicious! The only thing I would change is cooking it just a little longer, because the bottom of the catfish was a bit soggy. Our friends ordered the Sesame Honey Chicken, Pad Thai, and Drunken Chicken with no spice, even though it normally comes spicy. I tried the Drunken Chicken and it was so flavorful and crispy! Overall, we enjoyed trying a few different dishes, and there were definitely some standouts!

They hand out papers with your noodle options on there. The broth I get is the spicy schezuan. I get either the hand pulled noodles or the hand shaved noodles. Both are excellent and you can watch the cook pull and shave them in the window. I think my toppings have typically been brisket, bbq, bok choy, and chinese chives. Can't go wrong with solid broth and noodles though. Beef Chow Fun (5): They advertised this on their tables. They do it right with some good wok char on the noodles. They have a good wok and burner so it's done right. The beef was also edible! Very tender and tasty. Not the chewy gum-like pieces in some places. Crispy Noodles (4): Could have used more noodles since it was smothered in the toppings, but it was good. Noodles were very crispy and the sauce and toppings were tasty. Overall, I'll be craving their noodles for the next couple months and we'll be back.

She told me that each bowl comes with three pieces of roast duck. I searched but only found what looked like a small duck bone. She insisted the other two pieces were still in my bowl and then used my own chopsticks to stir through my soup looking for them. After almost five minutes, she finally found two tiny pieces about the size of a thumb--and they were mostly bone, not meat. The chicken broth tasted like plain hot water with a little chicken flavor. The char siu had an old, greasy smell, and my friend's baby bok choy still had dirt on it. Unfortunately, after my experience this past Tuesday, I'm not sure I want to continue giving them my business. I always tip--usually above the suggested percentage or by selecting the preset option. This time, however, I had cash on me and planned to give the driver a cash tip. There has never been a time where I did not tip. When I placed my order, the confirmation stated that delivery would take about 45 minutes. Instead, the order arrived 40 minutes earlier than quoted--well before I was home. I would have been there within the promised timeframe, but because it was so early, my daughter accepted the order. I also always select "contactless--leave at door." The delivery driver, who has brought food to us before, knocked very hard on the door and then asked my daughter if we planned to tip. That was completely uncalled for. My daughter had no idea that I had ordered food, let alone that I intended to tip in cash. When she told the driver I wasn't home, the driver actually responded, "Oh, because you didn't tip," and then left. I was shocked. Had the order arrived at the quoted time, I would have been home to give the tip as planned. Instead, the driver ignored delivery instructions and embarrassed my daughter by demanding a tip. If management is reading this, I strongly urge you to remind your staff to follow delivery instructions and not pressure or question customers about tips--especially when the order is set to be contactless. A cash tip was ready, had it not been delivered well before the delivery time. For anyone planning to order and tip in cash: beware.
