    Almond Chicken
    Maria R.

Do you know those places that you pass a million times traveling to and from your home? The ones that you never think to frequent or go inside? This is one of those places. While I waited, I noted the huge fish in the aquarium, the bustle of dinner conversations, and the phone calls for people ordering to-go. The restaurant's interior seems a bit small, but homey. I originally ordered online, not knowing that I would be picking up at this particular restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised to see that our huge order for a family of four was well wrapped and inside of a box top for easy carrying. The pre-planned dinners for two, three, or four are a great deal. Is this place going to win any awards? No. But was it busy with what looked like regular diners and food delivery orders? Heck yes. Everything we had was great from the sizzling rice soup to the almond chicken. Flavorful, large portions, and kept well for leftovers the next day. The only complaint I have is that the bbq pork appetizer that came with the dinner was bland and not the best quality. However, we did receive hot mustard, packets of soy sauce, and sesame seeds with it, along with egg rolls. A big plus is that we didn't have to order rice separately. I suggest entering the parking lot off of 38th because traffic on Rucker can be crazy and the turn comes up fast. Parking can be tight but there are spaces on either side of the restaurant.

    1. L9. General Tso's Chicken Lunch Special

Solid Chinese-American joint that caters to the locals. It's economical and not a bad value if you don't get your hopes up too high. Don't look for anything fancy here! General Tso's chicken lunch was decent but nothing to make a special trip for. That being said, it was less than $10 so I'd much rather support this local place than a chain place for something that'll cost more! Also, very clean place! That counts! Yeah, I'll eat here again.

This place was great had been there before but it has been awhile. The food was better than I remembered, I had the Orange Flavored Beef, it was amazing. My wife had Broccoli Chicken but asked for it to be spicy, she loved it. Service was great and the place was very clean

My friend turned me on to this place. She ordered take out for us( bbq pork fried rice and hot and sour soup) and it was super YUM! ( as we binged watched "The thing about Pam" and drank Prosecco while our husbands were away ) My guy and I just picked up take out from there and holy cow ,it was awesome! Packaged well, fresh tasting, generous portions, I have leftovers! He got the Kung Pao chicken entree ,12 bucks ( you do need to order rice separately) I got the combo number 1, which is a small portion of sweet and sour chicken, steamed rice, hot and sour soup, chicken chow mein , 4 slices of bbq pork and a spring roll- a lot of food for $12.45! Sides of sweet and sour sauce, spicy mustard and sesame seeds were included. Also 2 fortune cookies and a packet of soy sauce. Super nice folks ,great customer service, delicious food!! Thank you Beijing Gardens! New fav!

Amazing food and service mostly empty so food comes quick great for a family quick dinner stop and not too fancy so relax and enjoy your fried dumplings and talk with your Family

Combination dinner with sweet and sour chicken.

Ordered from Uber eats last night. Food came quick and was warm. I got a combination dinner with sweet and sour chicken. It came with rice which had a great flavor and chow mein. The chow mein reminded me of what you would get at safeway and didn't seem as authentic to me. To note: I don't mind the Safeway Chinese food. It also came with egg flower soup which was nice and hot and very good flavor. The price was very reasonable for the kind of food and the amount that you get (meal was under $15). I was stuffed after eating. My only real complaint was that I wish the sweet and sour sauce would have been on the side and not on the chicken. It made the chicken soggy upon transport. But in the scheme of things this is a minor inconvenience.

Dont buy!! Middle wing sections are chopped in half, so inside, is 2 sharp dangerous bones!

Our dining experience began with cold appetizers, including a mixed black fungus dish with a satisfying crunch and tangy vinegar flavor, alongside pickled lotus root vegetables with a garlicky and subtly spicy taste. For our main courses, we opted for the Deep Fried Fish Szechuan Style, which was filled with cod fish, had a lighter batter coating, and a pleasing crunch, but beware of its savory and fiery flavor, which intensifies after several bites. We also selected the Szechuan Hometown Tofu, which offered our taste buds a savory flavor, enhanced by chili sauce, a crunchy exterior, and a soft, silky interior. On the side, we ordered a bowl of steamed purple rice and white rice. This exceptional culinary experience combines the perfect balance of crunchiness, chili spice, garlicky freshness, and sweetness, rich flavors of Szechuan cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant for an authentic Szechuan-style dining experience.

It is a huge portion but it is completely devoid of any flavor whatsoever. Usually onions add something but that did not help. I don't know how you can mess up noodles but no one in my family would eat them and there is one person in my family that will manage to eat almost anything and they refused. The sweet and sour chicken was drowning in sauce even though we asked more than once for the sauce to be on the side. We liked the bell peppers and onions in the sauce. The chicken pieces were of decent size. I did not care for the sauce. The white rice was well made and fluffy. The rice was probably the best part of the dish. About an hour later, we ended up throwing up the food. A complete waste of $31 dollars (which is pricey for what was supposed to be a lunch special). Also, vegetable chow mein and chicken chow mein is the same price which we found out after we had paid. Lunch is pictured and mention to include soup BUT you only get soup if you dine in. The place looked clean the the people seemed friendly. We may give them one more chance bc of the friendly service.

So glad this place survived after Covid. The seafood shaved noodle was solid. You get shrimp, squid and scallops. $13.95. Really? We are floored! Husband said it was exactly the same and he enjoyed it! He finished his whole plate. Impressed with the large portion!! Shrimp was huge! Instead of seafood, I asked to sub with chicken. Server said no problem! The chicken slices were super tender and juicy and the shaved noodle texture was perfection. It was a bit bland but nothing a lil' table soy can't fix. Only $11.95 for a huge platter. I was super hungry and cleaned my plate but for most, there'd be leftovers. Mapo tofu with white rice. The sauce had too much corn starch and the meat texture was not my favorite. I've had better but when you have spicy sauce over fluffy rice, it can be mediocre and still be satisfying..Would rather have this for my work lunch than Marie Callendar's any day. Pan fried pot stickers 8 pieces $7.95. Delicious. It's the thin skin kind. Classic, you can't go wrong! I can't eat fried stuff nowadays but their fried chicken wings were the best. Plump, juicy and piping hot! I am sure it's still amazing! They have lots of other menu items. On a colder day, I would go for the custom noodle soup bowls for $12.95. (Choose noodle, broth, 2 veg and 2 proteins). Duck noodle soup sounds amazing. For more topping, I think it's $2.25 per extra topping. One of the few places where most everything is below $15 per entree item and nothing above $20. I would like to try their oxtail noodle soup, sizzling beef or chicken platter, teriyaki short ribs, beef chow fun, and black bean noodle dish next time. Interior is clean with pleasant Cantonese Chinese music, free waters, and guava candy when you pay. The evergreen Asian supermarket next door has a lot of Asian grocery goodies with a Vietnamese deli inside. Durian is on sale for $4.29 a pound. Yes, you can get durian in Everett! Impressive! Worth the drive to get good Chinese then shop next door.

I ordered the cabbage and pork potstickers, the Dandan noodles, a beef pancake roll, the veggie, egg and shrimp potstickers, and finally the lamb with onion potstickers and one coca-cola (yes, all of this was for me, don't judge). First, the beef pancake roll was AMAZING!!! It's a super simple item, the pancake was crispy and soft, wrapped around some lettuce and flavourful beef. This is a must order. The potstickers were all fantastic. Warm, pillowy pockets full of veggies and protein. The cabbage and pork were my favourites. Finally, the Dandan noodles.
