Plump, juicy and piping hot! I am sure it's still amazing! They have lots of other menu items. On a colder day, I would go for the custom noodle soup bowls for $12.95. (Choose noodle, broth, 2 veg and 2 proteins). Duck noodle soup sounds amazing. For more topping, I think it's $2.25 per extra topping. One of the few places where most everything is below $15 per entree item and nothing above $20. I would like to try their oxtail noodle soup, sizzling beef or chicken platter, teriyaki short ribs, beef chow fun, and black bean noodle dish next time. I ordered the combo:" bbq pork, roast duck, chicken broth, mushrooms, and baby bok choy." When my food arrived, I couldn't find any roast duck in my bowl, so I asked the server. She told me that each bowl comes with three pieces of roast duck. I searched but only found what looked like a small duck bone. She insisted the other two pieces were still in my bowl and then used my own chopsticks to stir through my soup looking for them. After almost five minutes, she finally found two tiny pieces about the size of a thumb--and they were mostly bone, not meat. The chicken broth tasted like plain hot water with a little chicken flavor. The char siu had an old, greasy smell, and my friend's baby bok choy still had dirt on it. I had chicken broth as my soup base, hand shaved noodles, beef brisket, BBQ Pork, bean sprouts and baby Bok Choy for my other ingredients. The steaming bowl showed up a short time later with all the aroma a appeal that I expected. The hand shaved noodles had great texture and visual appeal. Chewy in a good way. The beef and pork were tender and tasty. Overall, this was a good comfort meal for a cloudy cool day in the PNW. Apparently although they both have the option to customize your noodle soup, they are not of the same owner or have any prior connections. Anyway this is a good spot for Chinese noodles and a good go to if you live around Everett. I ordered the customized noodle soup with hand shaven noodles, beef broth, beef brisket and tripe as well as baby bok choy and bean sprouts. The broth was flavorful. The bok choy was a bit overcooked and tasted a little too mushy. The beef brisket was chewy but it was still good, just wish there was more meat. I was pleased with the hand shaven noodles I got. For the noodle soup combo, I ordered the hand shaven noodles and spicy soup. I reboiled the soup at home and added extra seasonings because I thought it tasted like spicy water. I wish I ordered a different noodle because when the hand shaven noodles cooled down, it got clumpy and was difficult to separate the strains.
