So I'm always a little cautious doing a review for a restaurant that I haven't tried several times. With that in mind be warned I've only eaten here once! We order takeaway from here and it was delicious we had mandarin beef which had way too many onions in it after all it's not called mandarin onion! But most places add to many onions to skip out putting more beef in it non the less it was delicious then we had a spicy chicken dish to be honest I asked the lady on the phone taking my order to pick a dish so I couldn't understand her when she said the name , I just said fine sounds good please add it to my order. We then had bbq pork fried rice which was very different from how I'm used to having it. The rice was very white and then had all the usual ingredients like egg, peas, carrot you know the usual stuff and it was very tasty and delicious as well. Back to the spicy chicken dish the order taker suggested. It came with nice large flat pieces of chicken in a white ish colored sauce and it too was amazing. Everything was still piping hot by the time we got it home and it was very obviously that everything was cooked after we had ordered it. So I say 5 stars to these guys so far and I love Chinese food so without a doubt we'll be eating at King Noodle House again. Again remember I've only eaten here one time but I would really recommend that you take the family and try it out, I have no idea of the decorations on the inside but that's not really why you're going there is it? King Noodle House is famous for their noodles, made to order. It's a repetiton that is well deserved. You can taste the fresness in the noodles. Our party of four ordered a beef noodle soup, the handshaved noodles with seafood (one of their most popular dishes), a vegetarian dan dan noodle with egg (the sauce is not that good), seafood with veggies (perfectly cooked seafood and veggies, especially the broccoli), and the fried squid appetitzer (very tender squid). All were very good except the dan dan noodle's sauce; the noodles themselves were still quite good. Their most popular menu item is their choose-yourself mix and match noodles, toppings, etc. I'm going to try that next time! Prices are impressive. All but several dishes are above $10. Me and my husband wanted some noodles and thought we'd give this place a try. Unfortunately again EVERETT another disappointment!!! What is it with these restaurants up here... Anyways me and my husband order to go. Once we got home opened the bag and no forks or napkins or any sauce NOTHING!! and to top it all off the noodles weren't cooked and the chicken is still white. I was so so disappointed! I had read all the wonderful reviews and was so excited to have some good Chinese food in Everett! First my friend and I ordered the chicken skewers which were raised about. Just chewy over cooked chicken. We ordered Mongolion Beef, once again rave reviews; maybe the reviewers have had real Mongolian beef; actually the beef was tender, but other than that, yuck. That's one of my very favorite foods! My friend ordered Kun pao chicken. OMG, what a train wreck! Not even close to Kun pao, I'm not kidding, the chicken was so tough, it was more like old beef jerky!! Plus it was breaded, and not one peanut to be found! Came here to try the hand pulled noodles and the actual noodle did not disappoint. It was the perfect thickness and cooked well. Where this place fell short was flavor... ordered the Pork Chow Mein: fair amount of pork and Veg Chow Mein: good amount of fresh veg but no flavor for both of these dishes.... just a little oil which wasn't greasy but was not flavorful by any means. We are going to try and add soy/hoisin/ sriracha when we get home for some flavor. The spring rolls were hot and the Korean "burger" appetizer was delicious. COVID Clause: great system for payment and pick up. Hand sanitizer, no contact payment and plastic barrier between the kitchen and pick up area. read more

Great soup place in the north end of Everett. They also have standard menu if you want to order food. Their soup and hand made noodles are made fresh. You can choose from a selection of chicken or beef broth. Then choose your main entree such as pork, seafood or beef then select your veggies and other additions you want in your soup. Price is fairly reasonable and service is fast and efficient. The restaurant is clean and good parking spaces. This was a good find. We wanted to grab dinner on our way back from a road trip on Memorial Day and this was one of the few restaurants open after 8 and we decided to give it a try. They are famous for their noodles . I got general tso's which was one of the best I had recently (comes with rice and broccoli) and the seafood noodle dish was awesome. I visited King Noodle House on Sunday at 5 p.m. with one of my friends. We were immediately greeted and seated. No one else was in the restaurant at the time, so you can believe our service was fast and our servers were very attentive! My friend and I ordered a noodle combo, which I figured would be one of the signature menu items for a place with "noodle" in the title. For only $8.49, you pick a noodle combination of your choice starting with the soup base, then noodles, and then toppings. For soup base, you have the option between chicken broth, beef broth, or Szechuan spicy soup. For noodles, there's egg noodle, rice vermicelli, hand shave noodle, hand pulled noodle, u-don, rice noodle, flat hand noodle, or spinach hand noodle. You get two vegetables included in your $8.49 price. There's beansprouts, Chinese cabbage, mushroom, Chinese chives, or baby bok choy. Lastly, the most challenging part.... Picking the toppings! You get two toppings included with each additional item for $1.50. The options are beef brisket, beef meatballs, wontons, fish balls, BBQ duck, wood-ear mushroom, tofu, scallop, shrimp, deep fried fish cake, clam, beef tripes, sliced chicken, spicy pork rind, roast pork, fish fillet, BBQ pork, squid, beef tendon, mussels, or dumplings. Wow, what a selection. My friend and I ordered a chicken broth with hand shave noodles, Chinese chives, bok choy, roast pork, and BBQ duck. It was very good, and I absolutely loved the noodles. I did add some chili oil to my soup though because I thought the flavor needed something a little extra to take it to the next level. We also ordered the BBQ pork fried rice which was very tasty as well; plus, it was only $7.50 so a great value. I added some soy sauce and chili oil to this as well because I wanted a little bit more flavor. For the two dishes, it filled both of us up and we even had leftovers to take. Their chicken broth had the perfect amount of saltiness and flavor, and their sichuan spicy broth isn't too crazy spicy but still has a good flavor and kick to it. There's also a variety of noodles - from egg noodles to different kinds of flour and rice noodles! We went for the hand shaved and hand pulled - both were so good! If you like a chewier noodles, go for the hand shaved! You get to choose 2 meats and 2 kinds of veggies, each category with a bunch of options. I was surprised to find a bbq duck and bbq pork option as not very many places offer that. I opted for the fish balls and YOU MUST TRY THEM because these have a roe(?) filling in it which was a pleasant surprise! Honestly best fish balls i've eaten and i feel converted now - no other fish ball will ever be the same. They also give you a good amount of veggies (yay for the healths!) I don't understand how this place has such good reviews... Their name is 'King Noodle House' so maybe their Noodles and Soups are better? I ordered take out BECAUSE of the good reviews yet I was sadly very underwhelmed with the food. I ordered Orange Chicken, BBQ pork fried rice and pork wontons. The fried rice was the only thing edible. The Orange Chicken was made with very strange "chicken", something I've never seen before. The chicken was basically a ball of mush and the meat inside was so stringy! I've never seen real chicken that looks like that! Didn't eat it. Idk what the hell they made that with. The pork wontons tasted very fishy and old. Like they were made 2 weeks ago, frozen, and then thawed out in the fridge for another week. Also doesn't seem like they use separate frying oil because why would my Pork Wontons taste fishy? They probably fried fish/shrimp in the same oil! Nasty! The BBQ pork fried rice was ok. I ate it but I've definitely had MUCH better at other places. The rice was very pale so it didn't really look like fried rice, and it didn't have much BBQ pork in it at all. Food was awful. Ordered their Ma Po tofu. It was bland, watery, trace amounts of meat and the tofu was way undercooked. Their so-called hot platter beef was disgusting; beef was grisly with no flavor. I remember when this place opened up, over 10 years ago, it was spectacular, my favorite go-to in Everett. Could've used more pieces of brisket, but it was juicy and flavorful. Veg was fresh and nice addition to the noodles. I do like that you get to customize your bowl just the way you want it. Definitely seemed like a family owned and ran restaurant. Great people there. No real ambiance, but hey it's a very affordable Chinese restaurant. The customizable noodles is what makes this place wonderful. I picked the hand pulled flat noodles with beef brisket, tripe, and roasted duck. Wow, so I had bookmarked this place months ago cuz it just sounded really good, and then today one of my husbands customers recommended it to him. So we decided to go too! So this place doesn't look like much from the outside. In fact, it looks pretty trashy tbh. But it's the neighborhood and people that surround it. You just have to ignore that. It is clean and simple inside. There is a window in the back so you can see the chef hand making the noodles. Super cool. The dishes were beyond delicious. You could seriously taste how fresh it all was. The difference in fresh noodles is something I couldn't have imagined would be so big. I had the shrimp chow mein and husband had hot and sour noodle soup. Both were WONDERFUL. We're already trying to decide what to get when we go back. Pretty decent noodle joint located right next to an Asian grocery store. The best part about it is the hand pulled noodles. The way they do their noodles is essentially like MOD or Subways. You pick broth, pick noodles (i always get the hand pulled spinach noodles), pick two proteins and pick two veggies. You can also always add more for an additional fee. We've been here a few different times over the years. The food has always been fresh and delicious! I love their hand shaven noodles. They're chewy but in a good way! We recently got takeout and tried a few more dishes. The Kung Pao Chicken was delicious! It had the perfect amount of spice. Watch out for the small pieces of chile in it though.. they're easy to miss and quite hot if you bite down on one! I got Beef Chow Mein with hand shaven noodles and it was delicious. The beef was super tender. We also got BBQ Pork Fried Rice but asked if they could leave the peas and carrots out and they were more than happy to. The Fried Wontons, Dumplings, Crab Rangoon, Spring Rolls and especially the Chicken Skewers were all hot and delicious. The skewers were much larger than I was expecting and they tasted great. I've gotten their Hot and Sour Noodle Soup in the past and it was AMAZING. We've also done the build your own soup bowl quite a few times. They have lots of options to choose from so you can't go wrong. I also wanted to note that the restaurant was extra clean and they handled everything very safely when we picked up our order. With Covid on the rise, it was nice to see a restaurant take extra precautions. I 100% feel safe eating here seeing how clean everything was. read more
