King Noodle is such a great family restaurant! My dad has told me to come here multiple times before years ago, I'm so sad that I didn't go until a few weeks ago! We ordered beef noodle soup and chicken chow mein. The chicken chow mein is EXACTLY what I envision when I think "Chinese take out" and how now become my favorite noodle dish ever. So sad I don't live in Everett anymore but anytime I'm around, I'm definitely swinging by. Parking lot has plenty of space. We've been here a few different times over the years. The food has always been fresh and delicious! I love their hand shaven noodles. They're chewy but in a good way! We recently got takeout and tried a few more dishes. The Kung Pao Chicken was delicious! It had the perfect amount of spice. Watch out for the small pieces of chile in it though.. they're easy to miss and quite hot if you bite down on one! I got Beef Chow Mein with hand shaven noodles and it was delicious. The beef was super tender. We also got BBQ Pork Fried Rice but asked if they could leave the peas and carrots out and they were more than happy to. The Fried Wontons, Dumplings, Crab Rangoon, Spring Rolls and especially the Chicken Skewers were all hot and delicious. The skewers were much larger than I was expecting and they tasted great. I've gotten their Hot and Sour Noodle Soup in the past and it was AMAZING. We've also done the build your own soup bowl quite a few times. They have lots of options to choose from so you can't go wrong. I also wanted to note that the restaurant was extra clean and they handled everything very safely when we picked up our order. You can choose what kind is soup base, noodle, 2 kinds of vegetables and 3 kinds of meats for around 8 dollars. It was pretty good the noodle was al Dante chewy and soft although the cuts were not homogeneous. The soup was full of beef flavor without msg (according to the restaurant). The briskets and tendons were very tender especially the tendon was melt in my mouth. The portion was good. They gave a lot of meat. Bryson got the spicy broth which was too spicy for him so we had to trade mid-way. I think I liked the beef broth better. My friend ordered hers with chicken broth and that was good too. Tucked away in a strip plaza on Evergreen Way, this place has amazing lunch prices for a good noodle bowl. You check off on a sheet all of your options of noodles, meat, vegetables, broth style, and so on. This place is pretty popular as it got pretty busy right after we got there. The food came out pretty quick. I saw the staff in the back were hustling so I know they do this day in and day out with military precision and efficiency. The noodle dish was pretty good. Warm broth that you can spice up even more when you get it, which I normally do. I ended up getting the brisket which was delicious. Only wish I got a little bit more. By the end of the bowl I felt pretty full. So overall good value for what you get here. read more

For months, I kept seeing this place on my friends' news feeds and Instagrams. I thought to myself, "Damn this place must be hella legit." So when I finally emerged from my overly needed sleep-induced haze, the noodle cravings were appropriately there. I love the customization here. You can choose your soup base, your type of noodles, and as much meat as you want (although you do have to pay extra). I've had the chicken broth and the Szechuan spicy soup. Both are pretty good, my choice really depends on whether I want the next morning to be an adventure. Love that the noodles are made fresh in-house! Lastly, I don't really know if I should be mixing and matching some of the stuff that I do. But having BBQ pork, roast pork, beef tendon, and beef brisket all at the same time seems pretty appetizing to me. And thus, I am a happy boy. read more

Not recommended. My son and I went there for late lunch. We ordered shrimp fried rice and short rib. The shrimp fried rice was okay, but the short rib was off. The meat was very tough and over cooked. Told waitress about it and the lady in charge came and asked me if I would like to take it home. I told her it didn't taste good. She said that even if she took it back to the kitchen they would have to throw it away. She then asked me what I would like to do. I told her whether she charged me or not, I did not want to eat that dish. So she said she would take 50% off the dish. When she returned, she said she took 15% off the order ( which is less than what she originally said she would take off). Not happy with the food and service. read more

Very good! Get the hand shaved noodles. We came for the noodle soup and weren't disappointed. My dude got beef soup with vermicelli noodles, pork belly, brisket, bok choy and green onions. The broth was decent, the noodles improved the longer they were in the broth. The pork belly was a little chewy but over all, a decent bowl. I got the szechuan broth, hand shaved noodles, brisket, wontons, bok choy and mushrooms and it was AWESOME! There's everything to like about this place. I haven't been to the downtown location, but this spot adds a lot to the scene around Everett and the rest of the north end. In short: It's a great meal, the prices are awesome, the experience is really fun, and the one thing I would wish for would be more flavorful broth. In long: This is a strip mall setting, with a busy parking lot shared by lots of bustling businesses that get lots of traffic. It took me a couple seconds to notice exactly where the front door is. Other than that, there's nothing quirky about it, really. There's plenty of seating in a medium-sized, L-shaped dining room. If you catch the right table, you can watch through the window while the cooks prep the noodles. This place gets tons of people from all over town, lots of families with kids, young couples, cops, adventurous eaters. Everybody leaves full and happy. The menu is not the longest in town, but you pick every detail--you select among different broths, different noodles, different ingredients, different condiments. This is the noodle combo special--$9, plus a buck and a half per ingredient if you add tons of extra ingredients. They're not skimpy, either. You order duck, you get big chunks of bone-on grilled duck; you order wood ear mushroom and you get the whole shroom, not just the little chopped strips. There are familiar appetizers and lots of familiar stir-frys. The dumplings are delicious; just basic gyoza but perfectly executed in house. The pork burger was fantastic. Everything about both noodle combos we tried was of high quality: fresh ingredients with great flavor and texture, big portion, nice chewy fresh noodles. We each ordered the "spicy Szechuan" broth, which was not at all fiery or spicy, but showed nice clear flavors. If you order the noodle combo, you probably won't need anything else. Trying to add appetizers to that amount of food was quite a bit of eating. Worth it, but probably more food than even I usually need. I'll definitely be back many times. read more

So I think this restaurants been here for years. I've never eaten here. I tried to eat here today, so I walk in the restaurant, kind of a very fishy smell to it which I didn't care for and the lady at the register couldn't answer my questions in English. I asked if the sesame chicken was chicken breast and she looked confused and said chicken neck? I said is the sesame chicken made out of chicken breast and she couldn't answer my questions and the menu wasn't very detailed so I walked the hell out. If someone doesn't want to speak English, that's fine but I think you should advertise that on the door or on the menu or online so that I don't waste my time trying to order food with somebody that doesn't understand what I'm saying and can't answer basic questions about the menu items. If you don't speak any English, that's fine. Make the menu more detailed. The portions are huge and the fact that they offer bbq duck and roast pork as meat options for the noodle combo is totally worth it. Very very disappointed in the food. I asked about vegetarian and they recommended the rice with stir fried veggies. It just wasn't good and I think they have msg in their brown sauce?? If you are a "meat lover" this place is not for you, unless you order double meat for an extra charge. We've been here twice now and ordered four different noodle combinations, all of them had only 2-3 tiny pieces of meat (chicken, duck, pork, and tripe were the choices). The noodle soup serving is very generous when it comes to the broth and noodles itself but the meat portions are ridiculous. The second time, I had to order more meat because the two small portions of duck I got were mainly bone pieces, the server stated: "Double meat, extra charge.". Their noodles are okay and the broth is rich and flavorful. Parking is easy to find and the men's restroom is clean and well stocked. We might come back here to try the Chinese menu but I am not ordering any more soup that's for sure! read more

What an interesting place! I've heard about King Noodle, but have never actually knew where it was. I really liked it. It's located right next to the Asian Market place by Everett Mall. My brother and I could sit wherever we wanted because it was relatively quiet, maybe two or three other parties. It's a spacious area but I felt cold :( It's interesting because they bring you a menu with a little form to fill out. You get to choose all the parts of your soup! There's photos in the menu showing what each ingredient is. I thought this was really cool. I picked udon noodles in the chicken broth. The service was nice as well. The food was very good and you definitely get a decent portion for the price. I would LOVE to come back here and try some of their other combinations of soup. read more
