Half Spicy Chicken Teriyaki & half Beef Teriyaki
Tribecca B.

This place is great! Everything is flavorful and cooked perfectly, and portions are huge. I usually get the garlic chicken (my favorite) and the chicken katsu (hubby's favorite), but went with spicy chicken teriyaki and beef teriyaki. Chicken was a little spicier than I expected, but still good. And the beef was perfectly cooked. This order came to just over $20. Service is great; they're really nice, and the inside is small, but clean. Try it out!

T2. Spicy Chicken Teriyaki ($12.99), California Roll ($9.99)
Wendi K.

Locally owned, yummy teriyaki, great portions. They also had a few Korean items on the menu, and CA Rolls! California Roll ($9.99) - wonderfully crafted, on-point rice-to-filling ratio, giant pieces of fresh avocado. Spicy Chicken Teriyaki ($12.99) - a MOUND of sliced chicken thigh in sweet sticky sauce (with a good kick) on too of perfectly cooked fluffy rice. Small spot located on a strip mall. Looks like it was mostly for takeout orders.

Regular teriyaki and spicy teriyaki for the win

Unfortunately it's been quite a minute since I've eaten here and I think since I ate it I've been in the John and lost sleep for the last 2 days. It was literally the only thing I ate since I landed in WA.

This little joint in North Creek / North Bothell is popping! It's not hyperbole to say this is the best Seattle style Teriyaki joint in the north end. Everything is consistently great - we get takeaway from Ohana at least once a week and never had anything amiss. Ever. Read everyone else's reviews as they're accurate in crowd think. Tips: they get VERY busy in evenings and especially so on weekend evenings! Yes, 12 other neighbors had the same idea. They sell their house made teriyaki sauce and salad dressing in a big bottle at the register. You might want to grab that

this place has to be hands down one of the best teriyaki places around the Seattle area. THE BEST. They give you such a decent amount of chicken, very generous portions, rice is glossy, soft, and so good. Staff is amazing and very friendly. 10/10

W1. Mongolian Beef

Small little place that's packs a punch! Our new go to place for Teriyaki. The Mongolian beef was mildly spicy with good flavor. The chicken and beef teriyaki was tender and quality meats. The chicken yakisoba had plenty of vegetables and chicken. All portions were large! Lots of rice to accompany the meat. Traditional salad did not disappoint. If you want teriyaki style food, try this gem!

Ordered food Togo. Wasn't a big fan of katsu, I feel like the breading needed a little more flavor... white rice was really good, and I'm very picky! Teriyaki chicken was good, quality meat, nice tasting sauce! Salad had a perfect dressing. Gyoza was good too! Definitely a good little find!

We had to stop by Whole Foods and my husband wanted Teriyaki; because there are countless Teriyaki options I went to Yelp to find the best rated one closest to our location. Ohana populated with the highest star rating, most reviews, and was less than 2 miles away. The first great sign that we selected the right Teriyaki restaurant in the area were the number of customers waiting outside for their order. We placed our order over the phone, and was given a wait time of 15 minutes.I appreciate Ohana social distancing parameters to ensure social distancing is encouraged. Our selections were really good, the teriyaki sauce was perfect (not too salty or sweet,) the tempura prawn weren't overly hard, and the spring roll weren't greasy. Customer service was phenomenal, one employee went over and beyond to ensure the order was accurate. We will definitely return to this location and highly recommend!!

W3. Sweet and Sour Chicken
Kimberly T.

Visiting from tucson. Found this cute little place. I was feeling like chicken teriyaki. They had a nice lunch special that included a small salad and gyoza. My husband got sweet and sour. Portions are quite large. This is an adorable mom and pop place. The chicken teriyaki was grilled perfectly. And my husband really enjoyed the sweet and sour. I would come back when I visit next time.

Got the chicken teriyaki last night, spent the rest of the night and morning sick with food poisoning. Not a fan is an understatement.

Portions are generous. The place is a bitten small & hidden. Teriyaki sauce is very thick if you like that.

In short The vibe is all friendly neighborhood joint, but…read morethe fish (especially the sashimi) is excellent. Hard to beat this place. In long We've been meaning to try it forever and finally dragged our carcasses in here when we were coming back from an afternoon up north. Quiet Sunday night on Thanksgiving weekend, and we scored perfect parking and got a table instantly. So we're already in a great mood, right? It's a shoebox-shaped room with a few extra tables in one corner. Newish strip mall construction. You can come in from either end, which I would not have guessed. It's sparkling clean and well lit with some nice warmth to the lighting. Big flatscreens behind the sushi bar, probably tuned to the ballgame or the news or something. The menu feels comfortingly familiar. The usual apps, solid list of sashimi, lots of classic rolls and then a couple full pages of specialty rolls. Matcha for later. So far you don't feel like you're in crazy territory, though they do list hamachi collar as an all-the-time hot dish, which is cool. So many places run out of it right away and list it only as a special, but not here. The sake list is just enough--a couple of each type, some solid and reasonably-priced house options, a couple really nice picks. You get your sake right away and the miso doesn't take much longer. The takoyaki was delicious and beautiful. Lots of garnish, boiling hot, great flavor. Nice tako bits in there, lots of creamy filling. They garnish the seaweed salad with daikon and load it with cucumber. More places should do both of these things. The cucumber in particular enhanced the flavor a ton. Once the rolls showed up, things got better and better. The Love Hunter and the Amazing were both fantastic. Great combinations of flavors and textures, generously portioned and topped. We got some classic taki too, and that was a great contrast. I love it so much when places nail the classics and the modern. I got the deluxe sashimi dinner. For $36 this is such a value. The hamachi and the other tuna were both super buttery, the salmon had tons of flavor, and there were a couple other nice fish on the plate as well. It's great when you find a place you're super happy you tried, but this immediately goes into the rotation as an any-night sushi spot. Affordable enough you don't have to wait for a special occasion! Dig this place hard.

Highly quality sushi and great roll options :)…read more This spot is located very centrally within the Mill Creek Town Center so it is a good spot for a little day out in the area. It is a smaller restaurant so it may be a good idea to call before going in for the dinner rush. I went on a solo outing here for lunch and was surprised that they have an all day happy hour for most of their operating days (excluding holidays). The happy hour offered a great selection of apps and a good selection of rolls! I opted to try the smokey roll which was on the happy hour menu. This roll featured smoked salmon on top which was very tasty. I also ordered the deluxe salmon roll which was also very good! I recommend requesting a side of spicy mayo for the smokey roll. Overall, I was super happy for both of my rolls and the price was not too bad for high quality sushi!

I'm a regular customer here, so I evidently enjoy the experience enough to keep coming back, but I…read morealso have some pretty strong criticisms. I hope management will read this and be convinced to make some changes. The service is okay; the only issue is that sometimes it takes a while to get someone's attention to check out, even if you press the "call waitstaff" button on the menu webpage. The atmosphere is fine, though it's a pretty small dining space so it can feel a bit claustrophobic and get quite loud during its busiest hours. My main criticisms relate to the food itself: for one, the tuna is astoundingly horrible. It's hard to describe, but it looks and tastes practically artificial; it's flavorless and somehow... dry? The white tuna option is better, but still not what I would call good. I'm not entirely convinced that it isn't actually escolar (butterfish), which is often misrepresented as being white tuna. It's disappointing that both of the tuna options are so bad, especially since those are usually my favorites. Another issue is that when you order simple sushi rolls, like just tuna/salmon rolls or the ones with avocado, they often stick a gigantic piece of the fish in them, which makes them disproportionally large and difficult to eat multiple of. I assume that's by design, since they want you to fill up faster to save money, but it really detracts from the experience. Some of the fried rolls are also made way too big and are just obnoxious to consume, so I don't order them anymore. My last main complaint is that there's really just not a lot of variety when it comes to nigiri/sashimi. Since both of the tuna options suck, that limits the options even further. I haven't seen any yellowtail options (even for rolls) in a while. If they expanded the selections more and started using better quality tuna (at least for the nigiri), I would select the gold dinner menu much more frequently. Also, please put nigiri on the gold lunch menu. PS: That bbq pork stuff in the buffet is amazing, please don't get rid of it.

Definitely worth coming back again!!…read more Service was very quick and all the staff were very friendly and attentive to our table. Always making sure our water was full, making sure we understood how the ordering system works and ensured we knew that they are standing by for whatever we needed. But what really made my night was thanks to Isabella and Erika! These two went above and beyond their day to make sure that the energy of my table was high and treated us as if we were all regulars all night!

If you're anywhere near Mill Creek and love sushi, do yourself a favor and go to Wasabi Bay…read more I genuinely can't say enough good things about this place. The sashimi is exceptional--always incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and the cuts are so generous. Every bite tastes clean, rich, and high-quality... exactly what you hope for but rarely find this consistently. My personal favorites? The Chirashi bowl is absolutely incredible, and I'm obsessed with their shrimp & veggie tempura and fried calamari appetizers--perfectly cooked, crispy, and seriously addictive. What really sets Wasabi Bay apart, though, is the experience. The staff is warm, attentive, and you can tell they truly care. On multiple visits, they've surprised me with a complimentary side dish--such a small gesture, but it says everything about how they treat their customers. This is the kind of spot you end up craving and recommending to everyone you know. Whether you're a sushi regular or just getting into it, Wasabi Bay is a must-visit. Easily one of my favorite restaurants--Mill Creek is lucky to have them.

The fish was super fresh with a great mix of cuts -- tuna, fatty tuna, salmon, hamachi, eel, mackerel, fish roe, octopus, and scallop. The rice was perfectly seasoned; just how it should be.
