This place is great! Everything is flavorful and cooked perfectly, and portions are huge. I usually get the garlic chicken (my favorite) and the chicken katsu (hubby's favorite), but went with spicy chicken teriyaki and beef teriyaki. Used to be a great place. First owners were awesome. Best quality and tasting teriyaki around the Seattle area. After 3 owner changes, relentless priced increase, and varying levels of taste, it is just a mediocre place. Used order 2-3x times a week but it is no longer the place I remember. At times it has tasted like Montana teriyaki...most time it is now just average at best. I used to tip even on take out because of the value of side dishes, excellent service, and lower cost. It is high cost now, no longer covid times, and they relentlessly ask for tip through the POS system. Even high prices, low value, and lower service is forgiveable but just drop in quality is just takes it over the edge. We probably just got a couple of bad batches so still retaining three stars. This is a delivery review. Since I've been working from home the last couple years, lunch delivery is a chunk of my diet. That usually means yaki a couple times a month, and my regular spot has had some ups and downs lately. Ohana is still new in my rotation but they are already hitting it out of the park. I always order spicy chicken, no rice, plus veg. This is a bread-and-butter order that most any yaki place can do with their eyes closed, and Ohana nailed it. Even with a few more minutes in the car, it still showed up hot and everything was still perfectly cooked, nothing getting wilted or mushy. They put in big chunks of chicken breast, clearly fresh-chopped from a real bird. The sauce is genuinely a bit spicy, though I supplement quite a bit (no matter where I order from). The vegetables were incredible generous, with some cucumber and other stuff you don't always see. Nice long slices. The packaging was pretty much same as everywhere, and prices were good. We had to stop by Whole Foods and my husband wanted Teriyaki; because there are countless Teriyaki options I went to Yelp to find the best rated one closest to our location. Ohana populated with the highest star rating, most reviews, and was less than 2 miles away. The first great sign that we selected the right Teriyaki restaurant in the area were the number of customers waiting outside for their order. We placed our order over the phone, and was given a wait time of 15 minutes.I appreciate Ohana social distancing parameters to ensure social distancing is encouraged. Our selections were really good, the teriyaki sauce was perfect (not too salty or sweet,) the tempura prawn weren't overly hard, and the spring roll weren't greasy. Customer service was phenomenal, one employee went over and beyond to ensure the order was accurate. We will definitely return to this location and highly recommend!! read more

Stopped by while out and about with my hubby. Ordered the beef/chicken combo and subbed fried rice, and an order of gyoza (8 pieces) The chicken was good not dry at all. The beef was amazing! It was very tender and not fatty. The fried rice was fluffy and had good flavor not oily like some places. The gyoza was nice and crunchy and the sauce with it was perfect not overly sweet. My goal is to check out the good and the bad restaurants all do reviews on them. My experience here at Ohana Teriyaki was so bad that the wife(owner) was so rude she rushed me to hurry up. I usually remember the names of stuff I get but I can't remember what they are called haha. Very good though. Lightly fried on the outside with a flavor punch to the tastebuds on the inside. Comes with a sweet and sour packet. They also put the teriyaki sauce on the side for you and give you plenty of it. It all comes included when you order the teriyaki. The employees are extremely nice! They treat everyone well. Food took a little bit to come out but it was definitely fresh and cooked to order.
