This restaurant is part of a chain and is located in downtown Bothell, the same shopping complex as the Safeway. There is plenty of parking spots in front of the establishment. The inside is spacious, but somewhat dirty. However, the server was very nice and took our orders soon after we were seated. We tried the Korean spicy fried chicken and the pork bulgogi and soft tofu soup combo. The dinner entrees came with many side dishes as well, and they were delicious. I liked the spicy fried chicken, but I do wish they weren't as heavy on the sauce. It was so soaked that the skin lacked its signature crunchiness. The pork bulgogi and the soup were both very well made. Overall, the food here is great, but somewhat pricier than the average Korean restaurant.

I was happy to find this location of this restaurant because the Redmond location is closed and will have to be moved to a new location because their building is being torn down for condos. This location is much smaller, but it is good. There's only one person hosting and serving, but somehow they managed to keep up and keep all the tables served and replenished. Impressive. This person needs a raise. They are keeping this business going in a positive way. I only had the hot bibimbap this time because it was lunch. It was very good. Space is clean and inviting. The food the other customers were getting also looked very good. I will definitely be returning.

Ordered spicy cold noodle. It was very delicious! If only with protein option besides half of boil egg would be better. Chicken gangjung for appetizer was good too. I would order both again next time.

Always a great experience at Stone in Bothell. The Kalbi and Nengmyun for me are always my go to favorites, and they have excellent side dishes (BanChan) as well. Look forward to coming back soon!

Great food and excellent service in a very welcoming and clean environment. The bonchon was excellent too. Very traditional foods and preparation with a great staff.

I love this location of Stone! They have THEEEE BEST sundubu and really good kimchi fried rice. I also loveee their bonchons. As a fellow Korean this restaurant has my seal of approval;) Stone is a great restaurant for families, friends, and solo meals. The food here is so comforting and delicious and service is super fast and friendly. They also have the good soju too. I have been coming here for years and it has still been my favorite location for good sundubu!

Nice clean restaurant with tasty food and sides. Portions are just a tad small for the dinner prices but overall good food and friendly service, frequently checking in on us.

Service was noticeably slow on this Saturday afternoon around 1pm, which appeared to be attributed to limited staff. We were asked to put our name down on a clipboard waitlist and told it would be a 15 minute wait, despite half the tables being vacant. We were seated within about 10 minutes, and it took about 15 minutes for our server to come to take our order. For 3 adults, we opted to share the Chicken Bulgogi and Soft Tofu Soup (with beef) combo (which comes with a bowl of rice), a kimchi pancake, and added an extra bowl of rice. The kimchi pancake and banchan came out first. We were shocked how big the pancake was, definitely could be shared between up to 6 people. The pancake was not super spicy, as one would expect, and it was crispy. And the dipping sauce that came with it was a good pairing. My favorite of the banchan were the pickled cucumbers, wasn't really a fan of the other offerings (which included kimchi, broccoli, fish cake slices, some jelly appearing dish with a soy sauce glaze, and bean sprouts). The tofu soup was good, the tofu was super soft, there was a good amount of thinly sliced beef. I felt it was pretty comparable to the other soft tofu soups I've had at other Korean restaurants, certainly not worth the $18 they charge for it as a stand-alone entree. Chicken bulgogi also nothing special, though the chicken was tender and juicy. Tasted like a slightly better version of chicken teriyaki. Came out to be $55 for the items we got, and we walked away with some leftovers. Overall an okay experience. If I come back, I'd want to try the fried chicken - it looked really good sitting on the table next to us!

Stopped by with a group after church. Stone was clean & comfortable. Service was very good once you order. Water & tea was refilled without having to ask, side dishes were cheerfully refilled when requested. Side dishes were very fresh & delicious!! Little pancakes were cold but not bad. All the dishes ordered were delicious including the hot tofu soup. Fried chicken was yum. We overstayed a little but they did not complain. Thank you Stone Restaurant Bothell crew for a great lunch!

Omg we found this on Yelp during our weekend in Bothell and what a find it is! Good thing there was 4 of us so we could order all of our favs! We started with the seafood pancake so very yummy we all loved it esp with the sauce that was served with it!! Lots of different seafood and veggies! We got 2 special combos - spicy pork and hot pot and Kalbi and tofu soup- everything was great! Kimchee fried rice and seafood tofu soup We really enjoyed our dinner and folk here are very friendly and helpful!

It is our favorite restaurant when we are in the area. The new owners in Bothell is a family who are very nice too. The food is excellent, as is the service and ambiance. My favorite is the Bibim Bap in a hot stone bowl, although everything on the menu is delicious as well. I highly recommend this wonderful Korean restaurant located in Thrashers Corner next to O'Reilly's Auto Parts and The Dollar Store! Mr. and Mrs. Choi are the new owners. Here's what we ordered: Beef Short Rib Stew: The broth was excellent and flavorful. However, the beef itself could have been more tender, as if it needed to be cooked a bit longer. Seafood Pancake: This was a highlight! It was perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining soft on the inside and was packed with seafood. We really loved it. Squid Deopbap: This dish was also fantastic. It came with a great sauce and a generous amount of squid. All mixed together, it was a very rich and satisfying bowl. Overall, Korea House is one of the best Korean restaurants I've tried in the Seattle area. Their portion sizes are very generous.

The first time I came to Modoo Hansang, I found a long hair in my soup, then a long hair in my rice. I left quickly without finishing much of anything, but the situation was taken care of by the manager. I understand this could just be a bad day, a fluke of sorts... so about 7 months later, I came back to give it another shot. They have a decently extensive menu, and they have a lunch set that is half-sized portions. I got the soondooboo and the galbi lunch set, and it was a good amount of food for one. The side dishes aren't really your traditional side dishes, and they're presented very beautifully. It makes you feel like you're fine dining. The flavor seemed a bit more fusion than traditional. They also give apps like california rolls, salad, and soup. (My gripe is that they should have used a miso dressing instead of an Italian dressing that tastes like it came from a bottle for the salad.) Overall, you order your entree, and you get what feels like a 5 course meal. Went at 1:00 PM on a Saturday, but it wasn't busy at all. Got seated immediately, and there were 2-3 other parties dining as well. Modoo Hansang gets the job done if you're craving a hearty Korean meal~

I can imagine a line out the door during peak hours. I ordered the mushroom soft tofu stew (sundubu-jjigae) + pork bulgogi combo (medium spicy), and my wife ordered the Galbitang. The food arrived 10-15 minutes after ordering, despite three more tables arriving and placing orders around the same time - I noticed they got their food within the same window. This place is efficient. The sundubu-jjigae arrived in a stone pot, broth running surprisingly clear and light for how substantial it tasted. The pork bulgogi came out still sizzling on a cast iron skillet over a wooden board - the kind of presentation that makes the table next to you immediately regret their order. Portion-wise, the pork felt slightly light for a $28 combo relative to everything else on the table. The banchan deserves its own mention: eight-ish dishes - kimchi, bean sprouts, gyeran mari (beautifully golden rolled egg), seasoned greens, braised tofu, pickled daikon, and a couple more I'm still trying to identify. None of it felt like filler - the kind of sides you keep reaching for absentmindedly mid-conversation until they're gone. The rice was a multigrain mix (purple-black grains) rather than plain white, a small detail that signals care for the fundamentals. My wife's galbitang arrived looking like a commitment - massive short rib bones in a rich, clean broth that meant business before you'd even picked up a spoon. She ended up so full we packed the rice and half the dish to go. When your takeout bag solves dinner that evening, that's a PORTION SIZE WIN. One last detail worth calling out: they proactively offered me an apron since I was eating spicy food in a white polo. Small gesture, real thoughtfulness - and apparently aprons are limited, so I appreciated being asked first.

I got the seafood pancake, beef bulgogi, grilled mackerel, and LA galbi. This was plenty of food for four of us. The mackerel was a big fish and had a crispy but moist interior, the bulgogi was a big portion and marinated very well, and the seafood pancake was crispy and came with a dipping sauce. The star of the show was LA Galbi, which was SO tender and marinated so well. This is probably the best LA Galbi I've had so far in Washington. However, the LA Galbi took forever to come out to the table. We kept asking the server if it was coming as we saw other tables getting their orders and we were making a good dent into our other dishes. They kept reassuring us that it was coming. We had finally finished eating all of our other food and were purely waiting for the LA Galbi. The server asked us if we were done with the meal and we told them, again, that we were waiting for the Galbi. They finally checked with the kitchen and told us they had missed our order but can give it to us in 10 mins. Fine, we waited and got refills on bonchon. It finally came out shortly after. When the check came, the server didn't offer us any sort of compensation despite the hiccup. It's one thing if we hadn't said anything about it until the end, but we were repeatedly asking them where our dish was and they were blindly telling us it was coming. The service was truly disappointing, but the food itself would be 5/5.
