Meat Jun with potato salad and veggie tempura
    Jon O.

MEAT JUN! Anyone from Hawaii knows how rare it is to find this in Seattle, so I'm glad to finally find a place that has it and does it well. I had to concoct my own dipping sauce but it was tender and delicious! Also enjoyed the potato salad side, veggie tempura was decent too. The owner is from Hawaii so lots of local favorites like loco moco, poke bowls, and saimin, and they also have Mongolian bowls and all your typical teriyaki and katsu dishes. Service was fast and friendly, and though the restaurant isn't very large there's plenty of parking outside. Highly recommend for any Hawaii person looking for local food!

First time trying out this place. They used to be located in lynnwood--were originally a Mongolian grill spot that expanded into a Hawaiian/Chinese fusion type restaurant. I came to try some of their Hawaiian grindz. Specifically, their meat jun. I'm pretty sure they are the only Hawaiian restaurant I've seen in WA with meat jun on their menu. It was $18 and comes with your choice of 3 sides. Overall, the meat jun was solid! It was definitely the best part of the meal. The dumplings/mandoo were ok. The cream puffs were essentially puffs with ice cream inside (so pretty good lol). The veggie tempura was mid--I'd choose something else as a side option. I'm come back to try other things on their menu!

FINALLY a place that serves meat jun! It is legit, as good as you would find in Hawaii. And they have to gochujang dipping sauce too! IYKYK. They also cut the chicken katsu into straps BEFORE cooking it which is not typical but I really liked it! It made it more crispy - it made it more crispy. It was like a chicken chicharron. The portion sizes are good - the two meals we ordered were split between two adults and a kid. I will definitely be back for more!

This is becoming our go to place, reason price, good portion and incredible amount of variety of menu options ranging from Korean Hawaiian to Thai food. Teriyaki is the best, the sashimi in the seafood don is good too.

Great food and friendly staff. Used to have a spot in Edmonds but moved over here and it's still really good.

She was extremely helpful throughout the process and was not bothered in the least as I had to make some adjustments a few days prior. It was a very smooth process and she answered all my questions. We ordered an abundant spread, and every dish impressed. The clear crowd favorite was the Singapore black pepper prawns - fragrant, perfectly spiced, and completely addictive. That black pepper sauce was hands down the star of the meal: rich, peppery, and deeply flavorful. It was my favorite and could easily be eaten on everything. The Mala curry crab and XO crab were both outstanding; layered with complex, indulgent flavors. The Thai green chili clams and saus mentega clams were vibrant and comforting, while the crab fried rice had generous morsels of crab folded throughout the dish. We also really enjoyed the Indonesian chicken wings, which were crispy and flavorful, and the stir-fried vegetables, which added a fresh, well-balanced contrast to the seafood-heavy menu. Everything traveled well, was thoughtfully prepared, and made for an unforgettable catered meal. If you're considering catering from Marimakan Crabhouse, I can't recommend it highly enough. Get the black pepper sauce! Amazing from start to finish, and Chef V or Rachel is lovely to work with.

They are caterers and do pop-ups at various festivals throughout the greater Seattle area. My latest purchase is from the University Street Fair this past weekend. On their website, they write "to provide the most authentic Paella, we incorporate world-class saffron from Castilla La Mancha, bomba rice grown in Valencia, and Spanish-imported essentials like extra virgin olive oil and sweet-smoked paprika." The quality and flavors of their food are always consistently reliable and delicious. During festivals, they often offer only Paella del mar, their most popular version, keeping two to three giant pans cooking and warm at the same time. I love looking at their cooking process. They charge $17 for the seafood paella, cashless, accepting credit cards and digital payments only. During busy weekends, they may run out of select seafood ingredients.

Fortunately the crowd wasn't as crazy and the line went fairy fast. I thought it's a good amount of food for $18. The paella was really yummy and they didn't skimp on the seafood at all. One concern was that I found a very few pieces of sand in my mouth especially at the end, so they could've maybe done a better job de-sanding clams.
