Impulsive stop turned pleasant surprise! Food: (4/5) My partner and I were grabbing cookies at a spot directly across the parking lot from this Korean friend chicken spot so we decided to give it a try. We got the golden and soy garlic chicken as takeout and were both shocked by how good it was. We have a decent amount of Korean chicken places near us so it's quite competitive. I wouldn't say it's my favorite, but it definitely exceeded our expectations. I liked the golden more than the soy garlic, but I tend to gravitate towards plain wings when it comes to Korean chicken because I don't participate enjoy their sweet flavor profile. Although the chicken is on the smaller side, the outside was both friend and seasoned well and the inside was tender and not dry at all. My partner enjoyed the soy garlic flavor and almost cleared them all by himself. I'm curious to try their shrimp chicken next time because I've never heard of something like that. Service: (5/5) We came in pretty late at night and close to closing. There was maybe one other family in there and one girl working the front counter. She was very nice and accommodating when my partner and I took a bit too long looking at the menu (we're indecisive people). My partner asked her a few questions and she helped us through all of them. Thank you!

I ordered to go and it wasn't a long wait even if they're quite busy, I've been to this exact place when it used to be a Filipino restaurant, they've updated the place and looks nice and welcoming, it feels like a place you'd like to take your friends to hangout. The staff are very pleasant, too. The chicken and cucumber salad is really good, made the way I like it. Definitely going back to try more. Four stars for now since I haven't tried everything yet. And I love how big the menu on the wall is.

I came back to this place to try their chicken and although we were first hesitant at the high prices I was soon proven wrong when the food came out. The prices are completely justified because each chicken wing is massive and compared to a lot of other chicken wing places I've tried this is superior. I know a lot of people say you die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain. But I feel like a hero and I could die like this after trying sodam chicken. If you ever come here, be sure to eat their chicken. The flavor on the chicken is magnificent. It's a perfect balance between sweet and spicy and it's not too overpowering where I can't taste the flavor of the chicken. The layer of skin is crunchy but not so thick that it's 50% of the chicken. A lot of other chicken places have 90% flour and 10% chicken but that wasn't the case with this place. Around 12 pieces was enough to fill me up so I would say it's a good deal. If I could I would rate this place 4.5 stars.

We had it once in shoreline and was so excited to see one open in Everett! However, we thought the food was better at the shoreline location. We also ordered the yakisoba and thought the time we had it at the shoreline location, it had better flavor. Hoping since it's still in the soft opening phase, it will get better. We did a pick up order and since the bag was stapled, we didn't think to check inside. We regretted it when we got home because although it was written on the receipt, there was no sauce in the bag. Lesson learned to always double check! Wings were good and the onion rings were delicious! Would have been better with the sauce but would still visit again in the future.

Lunch special with Boneless chicken, spring roll, and mandu

Customer service sucks. The girl upfront doesn't smile and was dropping dishes and silverware into the dish bin while bussing tables. She also told us that if we're wanted to order it would take a really long time to get our food cause they're out of a lot of stuff. We didn't care and ordered anyway. Our food came it in decent time. We got the lunch special ($13.99 on 10/18/25) and a side order of fries ($6.99). I chose the 5 piece chicken wings with two sides. I got golden fried, mandu, and rice. The fries could have been cooked a little longer, but were still good. But, oh my goodness the lunch I got was scrumptious! I love their fried chicken. It's crunchy and flavorful. My friend got a lunch special as well with boneless chicken with gangjung sauce, mandu, and spring rolls. She said her sauce was too sweet and needed a little spice to balance it out. I did get a side of the hot bbq and it was a good amount of spice! Our meal also came with a soda. I'd give this place a higher rating if it was for the gal up front. Go try Sodam chicken!

Chicken! I got half bone -in and half boneless.

They charge an extra $2.50 just for dipping sauce, which feels excessive. Even water isn't complimentary--you have to buy a bottled water for $3.50. On top of that, the restaurant itself is small with limited, uncomfortable seating. There's also no wait staff, so if you need anything, you have to get up and take care of it yourself. If you're heading there before an Everett Silvertips game with friends, you'll be lucky to find seating--it only has about 25 seats total. Overall, decent food, but between the high prices, limited space, and lack of basic service, it didn't feel like a great value.

The burger was decently. It wasn't anything I'd go out of my way for but it was solid choice. It was crispy and seasoned pretty well. The tater tots were exceptionally tasty. Fried to perfection without being greasy. And the seasoning was chef kiss. My chicken wings were slathered in garlic Parmesan sauce. And that sauce was actually tasty. But my wings were so rubbery and it lacking any crispy texture. It was like they were boiled, flash fried for color and then bathed in the sauce to finish cooking. I just wish the chicken was cooked better. It would have been a much better experience. The pretzel and cheese is a big no. Nothing tasty about the pretzel bites as at all and the cheese sauce was not great either. Service was great. They were really friendly.

I had laulau elsewhere recently, so I was interested in trying their version for comparison. Last laulau ordered here was in 2018! We took 99N all the way to Everett Mall Way to avoid the I-5 commute traffic (4/23/26). We were immediately seated and provided menus & ice water. Pretty much the same interior, no overhead music, and straightforward table service. There were three others dining onsite, but also later overheard phone orders taken followed with brisk takeout pickups. They also have the capacity for catering with product, prices, and serving pan sizes posted on the wall. The Homie ordered the loco moco with overeasy eggs, plus their standard cheeseburger. He was pretty happy with the outcome. Consistent to his previous experience, but also took note of the quality and reasonable cost for the cheeseburger. I opted for the laulau plate which came with the requisite two scoops steamed rice and one scoop mac (Hawaiian style macaroni salad) with a sizeable laulau. I unwrapped the outer ti leaves and cut into the taro leaves (steamed like spinach) to reveal succulent pork and tender butterfish inside. This was great with a little added shoyu. Spot on delicious! The ice water also hit the spot. Perfectly chilled without any aftertaste from a pitcher. None of that tepid water in a stoppered top glass bottle or carafe. Refreshing! Overall satisfying meal at a reasonable price.

I would say it's about a 30 min wait to get your food, we ordered ahead online which was convenient. The dining area was really messy, since majority of the tables were littered with people's trash and leftovers. Understandably, they were prioritizing the kitchen because of the amount of pick up orders they were receiving. We each ordered 10-piece bone-in wings, a side of fries, and veggies. I picked out the hot honey rub, which was my favorite. The garlic parmesan was disappointing since the seasoning was lacking. The wings here are fried nicely, but the fries are oddly soggy. They were still good though, due to the seasoning. Also, the ranch here is so delicious! I don't know why, but I'm addicted to Wingstop ranch. Make sure to order extra if you love to dip. Overall, it's a great place to pick up some wings. Just be considerate of the wait time and cleanliness due to staffing.

Not one minute earlier or later, which makes sure your food is fresh when you're supposed to be there. Inside there are many tables for one person to sit or I think up to 6 people to sit. Lots of seating for any group size! I usually get the medium tenders and my sister gets medium wings. The sauce is very good - balances out how spicy these can get. I feel like I have a pretty high spice tolerance but I am afraid to go higher honestly. I like the spiced fries add on, I think they are very worth it. A good amount and they are very tasty. The box also comes with a piece of white bread on the bottom to soak up any excess juices or spices. I don't know if you're meant to eat it but I do :) The chicken is always very juicy, whether you get the tenders or the wings. At least for the tenders, it's a kind of melt in your mouth chicken. And paired with how spicy it can get, it is overall a very nice dish. I think the prices are not egregious and the food is worth the price. We come back every time we're craving good, spicy chicken. And for getting three tenders I'm unable to eat all of it so I'm able to finish the rest for dinner :)

Since then, a Georgian couple, I think they are Georgian, has taken over. I was in the mood for a Philly cheesesteak in addition to trying something different. After my perusing of the menu I knew what was going to be my pick for the evening. I live in Everett and this place is just right down the freeway, which is a short jaunt considering it is the Boeing freeway and it's not a bad drive at all. After pulling up, i headed inside and it wasn't crowed at all. I did a quick look over on the menu and glanced at the available slices and was greeted warmly by the husband. I knew what I wanted but it was going to be a split order. I let him know that I was going to eat in first and then order to go afterwards and he was welcomed to it. I first ordered a slice, the meat lovers or pepperoni and sausage. And Caesar salad. The salad was a regular portion but they have a larger as well. The slice was decent. The majority of pizza parlors throw slices back in the oven for a quick reheat and this was no different. Great crisp, not too greasy and the bite was good. My favorite local spot is Brooklyn brothers but this was not too far behind. The salad was good. Classic romaine, chopped to bite-sized pieces, excellent mouth size and the dressing was on point. Croutons, which were plentiful, and I enjoy that, rounded out with a good amount of shredded Parmesan. It wasn't the best but when you have a good caesar salad it's damn near good enough. After my first palate cleanse, i went to place my to go order. A Philly cheesesteak and their kachapuri. The cheesesteak was simple, just meat and cheese, which is my personal standard. The kachapuri was their pizza dough, a mix of cheeses and Georgian cheeses and an egg yolk, that was added father it was cooked. It was accompanied by a slab of butter. The cheesesteak was delicious. It was meaty and cheesy lol. The dough was soft and absorbed all the drippings of the meat and cheese and each bite was perfect. There an always better cheesesteaks and some are standards but this one set a great mark compared to my poach offerings, even the ones that cheesesteak in their namesake. I was happy. After I wolfed down the first half, I saved the rest for the next day and dove into the Kachapuri. This was my first time having this dish and it was a great choice. Be warned that this is a heavy dish and very rich. I had to spread it out over the next few days but each reheat was great and never did it decrease in flavor or quality. The flavor is extremely piquant. Savory, creamy and the addition of the yolk and butter just brings it to another level. Again, it is heavy and should be paired with something lite, salad, vegetables, a tame meat or subtle fish but if eaten on its own, good enough. Check them out and if you're curious, go for the cheesesteak and if you're in the mood add the kachapuri. You wont regret it.
