My wife will get their beef bulgogi and we'll grab a couple bottles of water from the nearby bakery. Why? You'll need to buckle in, because they aren't messing around with how spicy it is! Comes with small side dishes and white rice. They also have a self-serve tea station nearby. The food is freshly made, comes out nice and hot, and the lady working there is super nice. I love coming to H-Mart for groceries, but it's sometimes great to stop by just for their food court. Food: (3.5/5) rounded up I get an occasion craving for spicy cold noodles once in a while and since I don't know many places that serve it, this spot has become my reliable stop. Located in the food court at H-Mart Lynnwood. There are plenty of seats and tables since it's a food court. There isn't really much lighting, but you can see just fine regardless. This place has a variety of entrees that the other stands do not. I like getting their Omurice from time to time like today, but they also have cold noodles and kimchi fried rice. Would I recommend this place over some of the other stands? Depends on what you want honestly. The other places do have a lot of the same Items, but if you want to conveniently get everything at the same stand, this isn't a bad choice for tofu soup or bibimbap either. You don't get as many side dishes as the tofu soup stand by the side entrance, but it's still decent. Tea or water is available at the stand as well if you need a beverage. Other option is to use one of the vending machines or get a drink at H-mart. Service here is fairly quick. You order, pay, and wait for your number to get called. There's no hassle really. You do have to bud yourself afterwards. Some people don't, but it's common courtesy to so and I feel like it's expected with any food court. There're usually bins by the stand to just dump your dishes and utensils in. I usually have no complaints here. This place is satisfactory in my book. read more

I love coming here especially after my power yoga session. The soup I get is the one and only spicy beef soup bowl. It never changes. It's so comforting, hearty and full of beefy flavor. Located in the H Mart food court, this restaurant is a fantastic place to get some good homemade Korean food. I ended up getting kimchee fried rice and the cheese tteokboki. The fried rice was amazing. I took the egg and mixed it into the rice. This is true comfort food for me. As an appetizer, the tteokboki was perfectly cooked in its sauce. In all my years, I've never had it with cheese on top. It was coated with a gooey and delicious mozzarella cheese on top. This took it to a new level! I tried the #7 Kalguksu noodle soup, which is a garlic-based light noodle soup with potatoes and sliced carrots. They're little rice cakes (similar to gnocchi) a few fish cakes, coated in a deliciously spicy red sauce and served with a hard boiled egg. This is a popular Korean comfort food dish. Hometown is one of the restaurants in this food court that's really stood the test of time. They're pretty quick, the servings are fresh and generous. I used to come with friends in Highschool and share their kimbap combo, I think it was a roll and a bowl of spicy instant ramen haha. Looks like now it's offered as two rolls. Even with this update, the rolls lasted me two meals. If you haven't tried yet, kimbap features delicious pickled veggies (iconic yellow daikon radish and quick pickled carrot slivers) and cooked spinach, and long sticks of mild sausage and egg omelette rolled in rice, seaweed and sesame oil. These keep/travel well as everything is cooked and cooled. (Caretakers who havent tried this dish - the long chewy nature of the seaweed and spinach might be tricky for little kids or the elderly to eat, make sure they're chewing well.) I got these to go, but eating at the food court is nice too especially with friends or fam- they have a station for complimentary tea and water as well. A little stall in the Hmart area food court, I stopped here to pick up a few items for lunch. Tteokbokki, kimbap, katsu, and dumplings, we ordered a wide array of food when they opened up shop at 10:30 AM. The tteokbokki was a disgrace to korean spicy cakes - priced at like $12 the portion was super small, there were no vegetables, and more shockingly NO SAUCE. It's like they took a frozen pack from the supermarket and just didn't even prepare it correctly. The kimbap was ok, tasted pretty fresh but there was thick piece of weird ham inside that kind of overpowered all the other vegetables. Don katsu and dumplings were tasty, they were both fried and crispy but super overpriced at around $12. Overall, this is food court food you don't go out of your way to grab - most of the meals were disappointing and for the price point, you are better off trying to find an actual Korean restaurant. read more

I am going to say right off the bat this place is getting 5 stars from me because of their Donkatsu, which funny enough isn't even a Korean dish but it is so good here I don't care. This used to be the H Mart I would go to when I lived North of Seattle, but now that I live in U District, there is an H Mart on the Ave that suits all my needs just fine. That being said, I will be coming up to this H Mart to get some loud pack from Hometown when I am craving it because it is well worth the drive. Previously, I had tried the Bibimbap and Bulgogi among other things, and a common theme among their dishes is the massive portions. I thoroughly enjoy food establishments that serve good portions and I am left not feeling hungry. The Donkatsu has crispy pieces of chicken about the size of an oven mitt and everything on the menu is a pretty fair price. The barley tea on the side is a plus as it is actually pretty good and it is self-serve on the side of the ordering area. 11/10 would recommend especially if you come to this H Mart to shop anyway. read more

The few times I was at the food court. I always saw people with this huge fried katsu on their plate so finally got to it myself. Holy cow, there's two big pieces of pork katsu in one order along with lots of rice, coleslaw, and macaroni salad. The sauce for the katsu is sweeter than I'd like and I wish they give you kimchi rather than coleslaw/Mac salad, and the breading for the pork chop can be a tad saltier. I finished one piece of katsu and most of the rice and the two sides and took the other piece home, made a real good snack the next day. The food is a solid 3 star, an extra star for the generous portion. If the pork can be marinated a bit longer and the sauce kicked up a notch with a more flavorful side, this would be a 5 star dish. read more

We just come here for the cheese rabokki and the kimbap, and these guys do that well. Takeout has been a little touch-and-go in terms of quantity, but the food always comes out relatively quick, hot and tasty. The kimbap is generous and always reliably good, whereas the tteokbokki usually has varying amounts of egg, eomuk, etc. However, when we'd eat in the food court (as opposed to to-go), it was always cooked well and a decent amount for the price. I'd definitely recommend trying the kimbap and tteokbokki/rabokki if you're not able to make them on your own, because the folks here do it pretty well. The ramen is obviously instant ramen - it still held its square shape! The photo on the menu shows a raw egg, yet it cane with scrambled egg pieces. Not even an entire egg. The rude guy said it's mixed in. I advised him it's scrambled. He then said they were out of boiled eggs, to which i stated i wanted cracked egg whole like the photo. He said they don't do that. I've never even had this before, but I'm glad I tried it. It was delicious. The first few bites were crazy spicy and I wasn't sure if I could finish the bowl, but with some rice and more bites I either got used to it, or the initial spiciness was concentrated in the first few bites. Either way it was a very solid bowl of soup - ample amount of noodles, lots of tender beef and the broth itself was very good. And the serving size was very generous. It's a food court style restaurant next to HMart. The hot tofu soup and the bulgogi was pretty good, but the hot stone bibimbap was just okay. The best part of the bibimbap was the crispy rice from the hot pot. I gave it 4 stars because the other two dishes was good and the Kimchee and thr pickled radishes was really good. I suddenly had a huge craving for Korean for lunch after work took me up north, and I found the food court in the "lobby" of H-Mart. Amongst a few other restaurants/counters there's Hometown. Lots of items on the menu, but I realized I hadn't had any Bibim naengmyeon over the summer, so I opted for that. I'm glad I did! Really good.
