    Omurice

Located in the food court at H-Mart Lynnwood. There are plenty of seats and tables since it's a food court. There isn't really much lighting, but you can see just fine regardless. This place has a variety of entrees that the other stands do not. I like getting their Omurice from time to time like today, but they also have cold noodles and kimchi fried rice. Would I recommend this place over some of the other stands? Depends on what you want honestly. The other places do have a lot of the same Items, but if you want to conveniently get everything at the same stand, this isn't a bad choice for tofu soup or bibimbap either. You don't get as many side dishes as the tofu soup stand by the side entrance, but it's still decent. Tea or water is available at the stand as well if you need a beverage. Other option is to use one of the vending machines or get a drink at H-mart. Service here is fairly quick. You order, pay, and wait for your number to get called. There's no hassle really. You do have to bud yourself afterwards. Some people don't, but it's common courtesy to so and I feel like it's expected with any food court. There're usually bins by the stand to just dump your dishes and utensils in. I usually have no complaints here. This place is satisfactory in my book.

When I go grocery shopping at Hmart, I always make sure to grab a bite to eat! This time, I tried the Doe-katsu for $16.99 and the Kimbap for $10.99 at HomeTown Korean Food. Both dishes were delicious and crispy, leaving my tummy very satisfied! Plus, I appreciate that they offer complimentary warm tea and water, which I always enjoy.

Ate this all by myself and I don't regret it one bit.

I love coming here especially after my power yoga session. The soup I get is the one and only spicy beef soup bowl. It never changes. It's so comforting, hearty and full of beefy flavor. It has green onions, bean sprouts, poached egg, glass noodles. The broth is spicy that my head sweats too. (Oh, I went far ha) lol This soup help me to detox and puts me in a good mood. This bowl of soup comes with a bowl of white rice, kimchee and pickled radish. So good you guys. It keeps me full for a long time - at least 5 to 6 hrs. I recommend it to everyone and I'm very confident you will love it as well.

Ramen is instant noodles. Do not get that. So bad. Didn't expect that from asian food court.

Kimchee Fried Rice with an over easy egg on top

Located in the H Mart food court, this restaurant is a fantastic place to get some good homemade Korean food. I ended up getting kimchee fried rice and the cheese tteokboki. The fried rice was amazing. I took the egg and mixed it into the rice. This is true comfort food for me. As an appetizer, the tteokboki was perfectly cooked in its sauce. In all my years, I've never had it with cheese on top. It was coated with a gooey and delicious mozzarella cheese on top. This took it to a new level! How have I never had my tteokboki like this before? Need to come back and try some of the other dishes like the tofu soup!

Nothing like Korean comfort food after a day filled with adventure. Located in Lynwood's H-Mart's food court, this spot serves up Korean favorites. My family and I ordered: *rabokki (tteokbokki with ramen, $15.99): appropriately priced for the portion. This was spicy, as expected, and quite delicious. *naengmyeon (buckwheat noodle in cold broth, $13.99): really refreshing on a cold day. I reallllllly should've gotten this instead of the rabokki, because I was lowkey dying LOL *kalguksu noodle soup ($13.99): noodle soup with an anchovy-kelp broth. So comforting; I think I'll have to whip this up for myself! This place hit the spot; wouldn't hesitate to come back if I'm in the area again!

This place is located inside the H-mart shopping complex. They offer various Korean noodle dishes. I tried the #7 Kalguksu noodle soup, which is a garlic-based light noodle soup with potatoes and sliced carrots. There were also two paltry butter clams (so that the word "seafood" can be used to describe the entree). The soup was overly salty with a very strong garlic flavor. The minced garlic was also not cooked thoroughly, so it tasted a bit raw and pungent. The food came out about 10 minutes after ordering.

Kimbap, Tteobokki, Kimchi Fried Rice (Kimchi and Kimchi radish above)

Decided to visit this place before shopping at H-Mart and realised that many of the items we wanted to try had pork in it. They quickly let us know that they could substitute the pork with egg and so we ordered the kimbap, kimchi fried rice and tteobokki. They also offer complimentary barley tea - yum! The kimbap was fresh, but like the other items, it didn't really deliver on flavour. (Food rating is 3, service brings it up to 4)

My to go place in H Mart when I'm craving Korean food. They're fast and the food is good. I love their gimbap especially.

Hometown is one of the restaurants in this food court that's really stood the test of time. They're pretty quick, the servings are fresh and generous. I used to come with friends in Highschool and share their kimbap combo, I think it was a roll and a bowl of spicy instant ramen haha. Looks like now it's offered as two rolls. Even with this update, the rolls lasted me two meals. If you haven't tried yet, kimbap features delicious pickled veggies (iconic yellow daikon radish and quick pickled carrot slivers) and cooked spinach, and long sticks of mild sausage and egg omelette rolled in rice, seaweed and sesame oil. These keep/travel well as everything is cooked and cooled. (Caretakers who havent tried this dish - the long chewy nature of the seaweed and spinach might be tricky for little kids or the elderly to eat, make sure they're chewing well.) I got these to go, but eating at the food court is nice too especially with friends or fam- they have a station for complimentary tea and water as well. Check out Hometown for quick, generous eats at the H Mart Foodcourt.

    Tofu stew

Large portions! The tofu stew was very good, however it does have clams and shrimp in it so don't be surprised like me. Even with the clams and shrimp it wasn't too "seafoodie". The fried rice was very tasty and the side salad was a nice complement. Their kimchi and daikon sides were good too. I ate the kimchi with the tofu stew to give it a little more taste. The girl who took my order was very nice. Meals come with complementary tea. I would recommend to anyone shooing at H-Mart or in the area! Plenty of seating and the area was clean.

Big portions for the price. Fresh vegetables. But seems like most dishes don't include much protein except egg. I got the jjal-myeon which was a guant bowl of noodles, julienned vegetables, and just half a hard boiled egg in gochujang sauce. It was just a big bowl of carbs and shoyld have been offered with beef, tofu or chicken ro round out the meal. The ramen and kimbap was instant ramen with some egg mixed egg (not a ramen egg). The kimbap looked fresh but fell apart whenever we would yry to pick one up. After eating all the carbs my stomach and sense of satisfaction were both unhappy. Not ever going to return

I am going to say right off the bat this place is getting 5 stars from me because of their Donkatsu, which funny enough isn't even a Korean dish but it is so good here I don't care. This used to be the H Mart I would go to when I lived North of Seattle, but now that I live in U District, there is an H Mart on the Ave that suits all my needs just fine. That being said, I will be coming up to this H Mart to get some loud pack from Hometown when I am craving it because it is well worth the drive. Previously, I had tried the Bibimbap and Bulgogi among other things, and a common theme among their dishes is the massive portions. I thoroughly enjoy food establishments that serve good portions and I am left not feeling hungry. The Donkatsu has crispy pieces of chicken about the size of an oven mitt and everything on the menu is a pretty fair price. The barley tea on the side is a plus as it is actually pretty good and it is self-serve on the side of the ordering area. 11/10 would recommend especially if you come to this H Mart to shop anyway.

Each entree is served w/ purple rice, barely tea, and of course (unlimited) banchan. They have plenty of seating, but the place gets busy and noisy quickly. We arrived around 5PM on a Wednesday and there was no wait, but the restaurant began to be busy an hour later. There is compact parking in front of the restaurant, but more spots available to the side of the lot. We ordered: Soft Tofu Stew - I love the kimchi they serve. Their kimchi is a little more spicy and pungent than what other restaurants serve, but that is exactly how it should be. Yukgaejang - A hearty and nourishing soup. Plenty of broth, beef, and leafy vegetables to even take home afterwards (you can see with the depth of the bowl). LA Kalbi & Pork Belly - Generous portions for the price. LA Kalbi was the favorite for the night, but pork bely was also just as good. Served on a hot platter it was nice that the meats remained warm even towards the end of meal. Tteok-Bokki - So so much. Wish there was more cheese added, but that is only because I have a low spice tolerance lol. We had plenty to take home afterwards so it's still a win. Items are on the pricier side, but great value considering the quality and how much is offered. Their kimchi is my favorite and honestly nothing compares to it.
