Losing a loyal customer : one bad experience at a time. I've been a regular at InChin's Bamboo Garden for years. After my last visit, I won't be returning and here's exactly why. Unjustified service charge. We were a party of 5. Your own policy adds a mandatory service charge for parties of 6 or more. We were still charged 20% automatically , then handed a tip prompt suggesting another 20%+ on top. That's not a policy, that's a shakedown. We were overcharged. My physical bill read $205. My bank notification said $215. When I went back to question it, staff kept pointing me to a digital bill that showed a different amount than what I had in hand. After pushing back, they acknowledged the discrepancy and offered my mom and me $10 InChin gift cards each as resolution. The gift cards were a trap. They came with a 10-day expiration. I live my life , I can't guarantee I'll return within 10 days, especially after this experience. So that $10 "resolution" is money I'll never see again. I was charged $10 extra AND a service charge I shouldn't have paid. This wasn't a mistake. Mistakes get fixed transparently. This was a string of decisions that benefited the restaurant at the customer's expense and when caught, the "fix" was designed to keep the money anyway. I've recommended this place to friends and family for years. That stops now. read more

Tried Inchin's for the first time this week. It was really more of a 3 for the food and 5 for the service so it'll work out to a 4 star review. We started with the MoMo dumplings. Solid offering. Plenty of different sauces to season to taste. We started with the American Salt and Pepper corn. That was my favorite dish of the meal - a tasty and fun offering. Nice to have something a little different and this one delivered. Spicy and savory. Loved it. We also ordered the yellow curry with chicken. It was good - flavorful and filling. Next up was the Singapore noodles. They were ok but somewhat lacking in "pop" vs. what you might get in a dedicated Chinese restaurant. The last item was the Black Pepper beef. Good but a little bland as well. If I come back I'll definitely order the Salt and Pepper Corn again and explore more of the Indian inspired dishes. I get the feeling that they are stronger in that department vs. the Chinese influenced offerings. The waitstaff was very good - kudos for taking care of us. read more

Always love going there. Amazing food, good people and pretty good service. Unusual indian paneer curry we ordered with zero expectations and it turned out to be delicious so much so that I want to go there for that curry. Also tried their Lotus root chip and it will easily be my go to in appetizers. WARNING: Do not order naan on their menu. They don't have a Tandoor and serve the frozen ones without putting any extra effort. The naan we got was just this sad looking barely cooked butter-laden dough that we did not eat! read more

Inchin's Bamboo Garden in Bothell, WA.. It is a 4 star of 5.. We have been to inchins in NJ, and this one was way better. Quantity was awesome.. one dish can be had by 2 atleast. Our favourite is always the Lat Mai Paneer. Spicy and so so good. Lotus Root Chips was super duper good... surprised and we just loved it. Veg manchow soup was ok.. made it more spicy by adding some pepper and spicy sauce. Chilli crisp friend rice was lit good at all. No flavor , no taste ! Avoid that please . Spice garlic rice and veg manchurian was a super duper combo.. Service was superb.. very quick. value for money. Inchin's Bamboo Garden shines in service and hospitality. The staff was extremely attentive where our drinks were always full, and dishes flowed smoothly from appetizers to entrees to dessert. The American Salt & Pepper Corn stood out: a fun, flavorful twist on corn kernels infused with Chinese flavors. The Sambal Lamb was tender and well cooked, though on the salty side and very similar in flavor to the Chicken 65 appetizer. For our party of 20, the restaurant generously treated us to several Lava Cakes with ice cream on the house, which was a much-appreciated gesture. The food is incredible here! I have been twice now and the hot and sour soup is the best I have had as well as the chill garlic chicken noodles which are spicy but sooo good! I have eaten there once and had great service and have ordered to go which included the chicken chili wings which were delightful. First time dining here, I have always had take out. We ordered some different dishes and it seemed like the only dishes we enjoyed were the Indian dishes. The other dishes were just not great. The side of white rice came stale crunchy as well. Our server was not really attentive and she was pretty slow. It was not a busy night so I am a little disappointed with the service. The place in the resturant was nice and clean, but the bathrooms where a whole other story. Just say, it can use a deep clean and walls had some um....crusty items stuck on it for a bit there as well. We got the gift cards from Costco to save a bit, and hope they can improve on cleanliness of bathroom and train the servers a bit more. Service was top notch our server manager Sarah was like owners of this place humble. The beautiful girls upfront mainly Jamuna were hospitable. They were well trained and super friendly. We had ordered Veg fried rice, Schezewan style vegetable coins, pan fried chili paneer, Veg momos and rasmalai. Service was good in the beginning once the food was ordered they came to our table pretty quickly. I loved veg momos' filling it tasted good (I have never eaten momos before this so I didn't know what to expect as far as the outer covering goes). Rest everything was good except the dessert ,Rasmalai's sauce was good but the paneer balls were hard and not soft and juicy as they should be. The person that came to take our dishes was in a hurry he grabbed the bowl from my hands while I was still eating which was very rude and unacceptable. It was very loud there, sound of dishes constantly being banged somewhere. Music wasn't loud which was a good thing. While nothing was too bad about bamboo garden, not much stood out either. We went with the veggie samosa and garlic chili pasta which was recommended to us. The samosas were pretty big and had good texture and pretty decent filling with a good bbq like sauce. The garlic pasta wasn't quite as good though. The portion was great but I found myself wishing it had more vegetables for a textural improvement. If it had twice or three times as much vegetables it would have been pretty good. The sauce was decent but didn't stick out much either. The service was great with a staff member bringing water or checking on us constantly. Additionally the atmosphere was pretty great with pretty amazing paintings and good lighting. Overall the food was pretty middle of the road and didn't stand out but wasn't bad either. read more

We've tried this restaurant both in person and for takeout -- dining in is definitely the better experience, while takeout can be a bit hit or miss. That said, we're big fans of their lunch menus and combos -- great portions and good value! Our favorites include the Lat Mai Paneer (the flavor was quite different from our last visit -- still good, just not the same as before), Paneer 65 Fried Rice, Garlic Chicken, Chilli Garlic Noodles, and Kung Pao Chicken. Everything gives off a delicious Indo-Chinese vibe that keeps us coming back. The ambience is pleasant, and the service is consistently good. The music was loud, obnoxious pop; we were one of only a few diners and, puzzlingly, were seated across from a bus station; the staff were inattentive and were grouping near us at the back of the restaurant laughing and talking loudly. I really wanted to like this restaurant but have a hard time justifying dining here. We've tried a bunch of their dishes including egg fried rice, chicken hakka noodles, chicken 65, paneer tacos and the steamed dumplings. Unfortunately we've been served a stale dish everytime we've been here. They were kind enough to replace it but it ruins the entire experience. I would recommend their dumplings though. I had tried the Bellevue location some years ago and I wasn't a fan. So, I didn't have the gumption to try out the Bothell location. However, after reading a bunch of recent good reviews online, we decided to try it out again on our anniversary. The food is disappointing and expensive. Nothing tastes fresh. Yesterday, we went to try out Inchin's Bamboo Garden in Bothell. I ordered the Mongolian Chicken. I have to say that the seasoning was WAY off, and the dish had too much soy sauce in it. Properly seasoned, Mongolian chicken is a delight. This was disappointing. My guest ate a curry, but there was not so much curry flavor, so he thought it was blah. If a dish is identified as a curry on the menu, it actually should taste of curry. Proper cuisine is a balance of flavor, without any one particular flavor overpowering the flavor of the other food. It was just ok. They have many vegetarian options and label them which is always appreciated. The chili garlic noodles were alright but not that exciting. The samosas were also just okay. It was a bit loud and the lighting wasn't my favorite. Service was great, and they were helpful with suggestions. If I went back I would get different things though. read more

I need to update the review and give them four stars only instead of my previous five stars. I always order the Mongolian Beef and it's always good and sine tones it's great. However the white rice they provide is truly the worst. It's honestly just garbage. Old cold dry tasteless rice. Which ruins the whole dinner experience. I usually make my own jasmine rice at home when I pick up the beef dish ti go so I get to enjoy good rice to go with it but I forgot to do that tonight and I ended up eating that disgusting rice. They need to use a good quality rice and serve fresh warm rice at all time. This is the only problem in this place. read more

This review is based on my takeout orders! Always heard great review about this place. but never dined in so far. Always preferred to takeout. Usually I do online order in advance and pick up later. Food was always nice! Zero complaints about the quality of it. First two occasions, everything seemed alright. The wait time was hardly 5 mins. Last time when I ordered the food the pick up experience was horrendous! I was supposed to pick up the food at 8.45pm. But I reached around 9pm. The food wasn't ready. I checked in at the front desk - they were quite busy assisting the dine in customers. They hardly cared about my question. After around 10 mins of wait, a lady walked out of the kitchen with food for an Uber Eats order. I explained that I was waiting for food for a while; she asked for the details and walked in to the kitchen. She walked out after some time and told me that they are working on the order - time was 9.10pm and the pick up time was 8.45pm! She mentioned that she was not sure how it was messed up. I had to wait for another 15+ minutes for my order to be available. Even after messing up the order - no apology from their side. They casually called my name and handed over the food! Tail end of the story - they messed up the order in a hurry. Ordered couple of Bowl size soups , they severed the cup size! Glad other items were accurate! read more

We ordered Sweet Corn Veg soup for myself, wife and our 6 year old kids. All 4 of us felt sick and threw up 45 mins after having the soup. This was not an anomaly. We went to this place 1 year or so ago and also had gotten sick after that but it was hard to narrow down at the point if it was due to the food at this place. Delicious Indo Chinese food with the best variety one could ask for. If you love a good flavor and meals with spice levels you can tolerate this is the place for you. We went to this restaurant for the first time to check out their food. First of all this is a nice looking restaurant. Very cozy atmosphere. Service was nice and attentive. We ordered (4) dishes. Chefs choice dumplings, Mongolian beef, Spicy Mango Chicken, and a soup with noodles. The best tasting dish was the Spicy Mango Chicken. Very good mango taste and chicken are very tender. I didn't care much for the Chefs Dumplings. It is alright. The Mongolian Beef is probably the worst to order. The beef was too tough and very salty. I was a little skeptical about this place based on the reviews. I had a few friends tell me it's worth a visit. It was amazing! The establishment is super clean and has a peaceful vibe to it. The staff was super friendly! Multiple staff members checked on us throughout our dinner. The portions are really good for the price. We had so many leftovers! This restaurant is my first experience with trying Indo-Chinese food so I didn't know what to expect. Generally I'm not a fan of Pan Asian cuisine but I'm pleasantly surprised. The dishes are flavorful and different except some were a bit too salty for my liking. I've tried the Kashmiri lamb curry and chicken butter masala. Both were rich and creamy but I would've preferred less sodium. The Mongolian Beef is also a popular choice. It's sweet and on the crunchy side. I wish the entrees came with the basmati rice but it comes in white or brown rice only unless you order the jeera rice which is basmati rice with cumin butter for $8. The interior is really nice but they're only allowing dine-in for one section of the restaurant. The bar area seems to be closed since the pandemic but there are tables that accommodate large families on the left side and tables/booths for smaller groups. Looking back at the older photos that were uploaded, it used to have a more extensive menu but they've condensed it down to 2 pages with a limited selection. I was disappointed they didn't have any specialty drinks other than soft drinks. Food is on the pricier end. Service was okay, food came out in a reasonable time but they don't really check up on you. I had to flag them down for water and service. I would've given this restaurant a 3.5 but because the food was better than I had expected, I'm going to give it 4 stars. read more

The food may be fine, but the manager ruined our experience completely. After a small safety concern with food placement near our child, we calmly explained the issue. The manager, Sara, instead of listening, became defensive, accused us of being rude, and literally shouted at us. She refused to apologize and told us to leave. Mahesh the host At restaurant today was extremely rude and treated us very poorly and when I asked to speak to his manager, he claimed it is his managers orders he is following. He blamed his tone and lousy service on his manager Miltos Exarhou! I have met Miltos several times at the Redmond location and find it hard to believe the orders he was following were in line with what Miltos asked him to do! He is lucky I didn't call the cops and create a scene! May this review serve as note to owners and managers to hire people who speak politely and not use their names when making illegal decisions like denying entry to service dogs!
