Biryani Bistro was opened an year ago. They started off with Soft launch menu. I was one of the first few to try those during the initial days. I have visited this place at least half a dozen time in the last year. The service has always been fantastic. Very friendly staffs and they genuinely care about the customers no mater how busy this place is. Always order at the counter and pick up the food later. They offer weekend buffet - with the options they have provided - one of the best value for money buffet available now. There are enough varieties on the offering. Quality was great - food was flavorful as well. I did order ala carte as well. Tried the biriyanis and the indo-chinese options. And their veg & non-veg combo is a real deal. Served with roti, rice, 2 curries and a dessert. It's just $10. Portion is really good, more than enough for one person. That's one of my favorite options on their menu. It's a very spacious restaurant - well maintained. Cleanliness deserves special mention as well. Quite an ambiance as well. I have liked whatever I have tried from here for that last one year. I've ordered take out multiple times from the bothell location. This review is based on takeouts. PROS: - good location, plenty of parking - online ordering setup is easy - nice staff! food is always ready on time - good variety of South Indian dishes and biriyani. Their cuisine is very specific. - goat biriyani and goat curry are delicious. I also liked their meat to rice ratio for the chicken biriyani. CONS: - outrageous prices for the amount of food. I ordered goat curry and the size of the container was way small. Giving me an entry sized dish in a side dish container is an immediate issue for me. I paid over 80 worth of food and feel lit was not worth it. The goat curry had a lot of large bones too so that made it worse. I got more bones than meat. - overtly spiced and too salty. I liked their goat dum biriyani but did not like the rest. The biriyani appears to be over spiced that's not completely simmered, cooked down or blended. You're essentially eating straight up spice which is pretty gross. This is a personal preference, I like my dishes spicy but I don't like it overwhelmingly spicy where it overtakes the dish and all you're tasting is uncooked blend of spices that heat up your stomach & hurts digestion. Others may like their dishes as is. I'm not in that boat. - I paid $8 for goat haleem that was given in a tiny sauce container. that was so not worth the money or the dish. Their prices are completely off. I don't recommend this place, my search for decent biriyani from regional places continues. I just went authentic biriyani that tastes good, is reasonably priced, with good meat to rice ratio. It's 2026 people, shouldn't be this hard! read more

Consistently good across many items I have tried. They make fresh jilapis on the weekends which is a rarity in Seattle. Their Pakoras and kababs are great. I went in today to try the non veggie lunch with andhra chicken and butter chicken and both were delicious. The butter chicken in particular was REALLY good. The owners are also nice! read more

I saw them on IG and decided to try Biryani Bistro for dinner. They recently opened. We got Mysore Bonda, Chicken 65 Biryani, Raagi Mudda w/ Mutton Curry and Chickoo Chake. Mysore Bonda was okay, bigger than usual which means there were a couple spots inside where the batter was under fried. The peanut chutney with it was very good. We liked the Chicken 65 Biryani, the rice was flavorful, the Chicken 65 wasn't the usual but tasted good. The standout item for us was the Raagi Mudda w/ Mutton curry. It wasn't the typical Karnataka style Raagi Mudda, we were told it was Andra style, we loved it. We also got Boondi Laddoo, and mixture to go. We loved the Boondi Laddoo, the mixture was okay. read more

Visited the restaurant twice over the weekends. There is enough parking outside the restaurant and is accessible. So far we have tried, Chicken Kebab, Naan, Tandoori Roti, Butter Chicken, Chicken Pakora and their Jalebi. Both the appetizers (Kebab and Pakora) were good. Not spicy but flavorful. Butter chicken was very good with the rotis. Their Jalebi is the best we have had. Tastes very much like Thenkuzhal (from Tamilnadu). Overall great food and friendly service. We haven't tried their biriyanis yet. Will continue to visit again and try more dishes. read more

Ordered the paneer 65 biryani. It's quite different from the regular paneer 65 biryani that you'd get. The biryani rice here is pretty flavorful and the paneer appears like gravy paneer (like a paneer butter masala) but it's actually quite moist and fresh. Love that they give cut onion on the side. This was a takeout order so hard to say what the in-house service is like but the staff appear friendly. read more

This is hands down my favorite Indian restaurant, and I come here regularly for their weekend buffet. It's easily the best Indian buffet I've ever been to, by a long shot. The variety is incredible. Everything from Indo-Chinese Manchurians and chaats to rich curries (both meat and paneer), flavorful lentils, soup, and a wide spread of rice dishes and biryanis. The naan is always fresh, the appetizers are on point, and I can never leave without a mango lassi and something from the dessert table. What I really appreciate is that the quality matches the quantity. Every dish tastes fresh, balanced, and full of flavor. Nothing ever feels like it's just "filler." On top of all that, the staff are always warm and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. If you're looking for an Indian buffet that goes above and beyond, this is it. read more

Best Gobi Manchuria & Chicken 65 Biryani Biryani Bistro is an absolute gem if you're craving authentic South Indian flavors and Indo-Chinese street-style dishes. The Gobi Manchuria was outstanding--crispy cauliflower tossed in the perfect tangy-spicy sauce, exactly like the Indo-Chinese street style you'd find back in India. Truly the best version I've had in the area. The Chicken 65 Biryani was just as impressive. The Chicken 65 itself was so flavorful that it could be enjoyed on its own as a delicious appetizer. Finally the search for good biryani is over. This place offers the best biryani the flavors are balanced not very spicy but still you will feel a blast of flavors when you take a bite. Their tandoor section is just amazing. Their chicken was so juicy and marination was so balanced. It's a self service restaurant. Enjoyed a Thursday afternoon business lunch. Appetizers were fantastic. We requested a lower spice level and the food was spiced just right.
