A highlight of our vacation! We are in town after a 7 night cruise to Alaska, staying 2 extra nights in Seatac area. After 7 nights of cruise food, we were ready to try something new and local. Sharp's was only 5 minutes from our hotel, and highly rated, so I figured we would give it a shot. We arrived at the restaurant to a full parking lot with people standing outside. However, when we went in, the wonderful hostess informed us there was no wait. The seater showed us to our table, and chatted with us about our day along the way. He also explained the 3 menus that he gave us, and informed us we were right in time for happy hour. Our server, Sam, greeted us promptly, and she was so incredibly welcoming to our family, answering questions about the menu items. It was so hard to decide what to order, so we ordered several small plates (Brisket nachos, Wings, Brisket tacos, fries, and mac and cheese, along with the complimentary cornbread). To our surprise, everything came out so quickly. This was probably the fastest service I've ever had at a restaurant. The servers who delivered our food were friendly and welcoming as well. Not only that, EVERYTHING we ate was phenomenal. The fries were flavorful and perfectly salted, the wings were fantastic, and the brisket nachos? Wow....the brisket was some of the best we've ever had, and the nacho chips even stood out. The biggest compliment is from our 15 year old who said that the mac and cheese is some of the best pasta she's ever had. Throughout the whole meal, Sam was so attentive and chatting with us about the restaurant and dessert options. I truly enjoyed everything about our experience. The food and service both were top notch. The only thing I didn't like about this restaurant is that I'll have to book another flight to Seattle from Michigan to eat there. My Cousin took me to lunch and she was telling me how she really liked this place. Located right next to Coast Gateway Hotel on Pacific Hwy. Parking is really Tight. There was a long line so we decided to sit in the Bar Area. The waitress came in a timely fashion. I ordered the Fried Creamy Potatoes and the Boneless Wings 8/10. My Cousin ordered a Papaya Mule, Cod Tacos and the Sourdough Beer Battered Onion Rings 8/10 minus the Onion Rings they were sent back. They were fried so hard we thought we would break our teeth. They were taken off the Bill. Just had the Sharps Signature Salad. While it technically had all the ingredients listed on the menu, it was $20 for predominantly lettuce. I wanted to get prime rib and found this place not too far away from my hotel. I went in around dinner time and got really lucky with only have to wait for 20 mins for a table for one. Once I was seated I had someone come and asked for a vanilla cider and a the 1/2 lb prime rib dinner. It came with sour cream mashed potatoes, green beans, freshly grated horseradish, and a side of au jus. Compare this to other prime rib it wasn't as fatty or gristly which was great. Also cut so nicely so I didn't have to fight to cut a piece off. The mashed potatoes were absolutely delicious but filling. Green beans were fresh and still crunchy. I wished I had room for dessert, but I was absolutely stuffed. Would love to come back here again. read more

Ok one of the most amazing places I've dined in for some time. First off your next to SeaTac Airport so location is perfect of your coming or going and need a food or alcoholic beverage.... Soon as you enter you see multiple oak kegs of Burbon fermenting spirts in a revolving rack. Turning the juices of the gods to make sure you'll get the perfect cocktail each and every time. A few more feet away is a meat locker twirling with red lights cooking the prime rib flesh, my oh my was I mesmerized. Great unexpected experience by the Seattle airport! We were staying at one of the Seattle airport hotels and dropped by for a quick lunch. The inside decor is immersive - big slabs of meat displayed, a sourdough pasta machine putting out pasta pieces! Very camp and fun. Service was also friendly. We weren't that hungry so just ordered the pulled pork salad and fried chicken salad. Both are HUGE and great. The meats were of course the highlights. A well-deserved five star. Even though they were incredibly busy, you would've never known it by the amount of attention that we got from our server. He took excellent care of us. I was glad to revisit Sharps for dinner. Our server Maria was great. They have an interesting mixed drink menu, plus a bunch of beers on tap and wines. I got the drink that had bourbon and figs, very tasty. I really liked my mac and cheese with the spicy chicken tenders. My friend asked me if I could taste if the pasta was made with sourdough, and I'm not really sure! The portion size was huge. I also got a side Caesar that was pretty average, but I had wanted to get some kind of vegetable. This place was bustling with people when we went. Waiter came out with a complementary cornbread and it set the mood for yumminess We didn't know there was a happy hour, but ordered burnt ends and macaroni & cheese with their homemade noodles. Food was scrumptious but the two dishes, a cocktail and a root beer with tip was about $50 but well worth it!!! Let me start with the place was very clean, inviting and the service was good. I really want to focus on the food. I had high expectations since we frequent their sister restaurant, Vons 1000 Spirits in seattle where the food is off rhe charts every single time. So that is why I feel I can grade Sharps with a harsher expectations. Lets start with the good. Cornbread, delicious, crispy edges and sweet buttery flavor. The sweet corn, very buttery with a delicious seasoning sprinkled on top. The Fig whiskey was so smokey and sweet and wonderful. Now let's take a step down... the burnt ends and brisket were delicious. The burnt ends were small pieces and conservative portion. The brisket was so tender you could cut it with a fork, again, the portion was very small considering the price tag. Now, because I was raised in Kansas City, Missouri, I have my own preferences when it comes to bbq sauce and beans...so I am keeping an open mind... the sweet red bbq sauce was great and was served on tbe burnt ends and with my husbands ribs...the brisket is served with a Carolina gold sauce which is very tangy and more like a salad dressing in my opinion, but again thats just a preference. Here's where my rating goes down quickly. The onion rings, while having a nice flavor were so soggy and greasy. Im not sure if they were not drained of the grease appropriately or were just sitting on a warming table...my husband's fries were the same way. As we were leaving I noticed our neighboring table had fish and chips and the fish and fries both looked just as soggy on the bottom. This leads me to think the fried food may be fried in advance and are held to plate up quickly. I dont know, but that lost points with me real quick because, again, I had very high expectations since they are related to probably our favorite restaurant in seattle, Vons 1000 spirits. I had been here before with work colleagues. This time with family. It was a busy Friday night and the wait was not long. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The food was good and we had a nice selection of options from both the food menu and the drink menu. The pasta is made fresh and it was great as well in the macaroni and cheese. It was a fun atmosphere with lots to see and a warm ambiance. Not only did our server touch base with us, but I believe it was the manager who did several times as well. I ordered to go as I was staying at the Hilton garden inn down the street. I will warn they have a "promo" code "HOTEL10" that is for to-go orders or delivery and that promo doesn't work at all. I called the restaurant and asked and they were no help lol in fact the gentlemen who handed me my order gave a sarcastic smirk when I told him about it and gave off the vibe that he didn't GAF at all lol whatever 10% is 10%. So the brisket sandwich with dip was amazing the flavor is so good especially with whatever cheese they use. Each bite was a blast of flavor and the Auju sauce the use was awesome for dipping. The brisket tacos were good with flavor but basic I wouldn't get that again it seemed like a semi wilted tortilla with all that stuff thrown on it not BAD because the flavor was amazing but not a app I would get again. We stopped by Sharps RoastHouse for lunch on Tuesday, July 14 while traveling for a youth soccer tournament. The food was outstanding, and our waitress provided excellent service throughout the entire meal. She was friendly, attentive, and handled a difficult situation with professionalism. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by how the manager on duty, Sam, handled an accident. While helping our waitress deliver our food, he accidentally dropped a container of ketchup that exploded all over the side of my body, covering my arm and my white button up shirt. Accidents happen, and I truly was not upset about the accident itself. What disappointed me was the way it was handled afterward. Immediately after the incident, Sam insisted that a rag with sanitizer and water would remove the ketchup from my white shirt. He then disappeared and never checked back with us until we were preparing to leave. At that point, he handed me the general manager's business card and said I should contact them to have my shirt laundered. After we explained that we were from out of town, he continued to insist that laundering was all they could offer. My wife politely explained that would not be practical and that the situation needed to be addressed while we were there. Rather than working with us, Sam simply walked away. Our waitress had no idea what was happening and was left trying to manage the situation herself. After some time, Sam walked past our table to tell our waitress, who was helping another table, that my meal had been comped because of the incident. He never came back to our table, never looked our way, never apologized directly, and never acknowledged our appreciation for comping the meal. It felt like he wanted to avoid the conversation altogether. Our waitress mentioned that the owner truly values customer feedback and takes reviews seriously. If the owner reads this, I want to be clear. Your restaurant is excellent. The food was fantastic, and your serving staff represented your business very well. However, Sam's handling of a simple customer service issue fell far below what I would expect from someone in a management role. Accidents are understandable. Poor communication, lack of accountability, and avoiding customers are not. Based solely on our interaction with Sam, I believe he is doing more harm than good for an otherwise outstanding restaurant. read more

Was just in Seattle for 1 day to catch a cruise. Sharps was within walking distance of the hotel. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We loved the ambiance, service and food![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had 5 in our group 2 adults, one teen and two kids. The service was spot on and the food was fresh and fast. One kid was not a fan of the French fries (they were cooked with skin on) and the server immediately brought her apple slices instead. I had the cod tacos, husband had the boneless wings. Teen had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, we all enjoyed our lunch! If I lived closer I would certainly eat here often. And the desserts were perfection as well! Highly recommend!! read more

Much BETTER experience this time around. Although it was still super busy and it took a very long time to get waited on and receive our food. However, I had the Brisket mac-n-cheese plus a caesar salad & papaya mule for a drink. The Brisket Mac-n-Cheese was very good...super tasty brisket with the right amount of pasta and cheese to go together well. I loved this. It also came highly recommended from our Waiter. The Caesar Salad was not as good as last time. It appeared most of the lettuce was wilted and older, so the crunch just wasn't there. We scam through the menu and and the drink menu and place our order. I went with the Texas double smoked burnt ends that come with cornbread, I also got the brisket street tacos and a side order of Garlic parm Broccoli and I ordered the scratch Manhattan. My coworker ordered the bacon bbq brisket sandwich with potato salad as his side and a side order of garlic parm broccoli as well. We got our cocktails first and wow! They were delicious! One cocktail will get you together trust me. Our food arrives and everything looks amazing I can definitely see why this place is busy. My burnt ends with the cornbread was delicious the cornbread was soft with the nice crispy edges and the burnt ends we juicy tender and so flavorful. My brisket taco was on point tender and oh so flavorful as well. My co worker enjoyed his food and said, it was one of the best brisket sandwiches he's had. There is plenty of seating, the restaurant is very spacious, but once again very busy so you maybe want to just eat at the bar area if you don't want to wait. Our waiter was amazing extremely attentive made sure we were happy with everything and answered all of our questions with a smile and even recommended items. If I ever have to go to Seattle again I will definitely eat here it is that good. Looked to be a busy night as many people were standing outside waiting to be sat, this was a Saturday night. Our server Artyom was expedient, knowledgeable and friendly. My sister and her husband had to catch a flight at the Seattle International Airport. Before they left, we had our last dinner of the trip at Sharps Roasthouse close to the airport. We tried their BBQ ribs, buffalo wings, Caesar salad and the complimentary corn bread. The portion was generous, and the food was delicious! The ribs and the onion rings on the side were on the drier side but were well seasoned and matched the BBQ sauce well. Was driving through the Seattle area near the airport and saw the high ratings of Sharps and figured I'd give it a try. Very cool atmosphere on the inside. Had displays of their homemade pastas, their meat roasts, and an all-around vibrant energy. I opted for open seating at the bar and thought it was neat that they had a big "wheel of fortune" type of wheel with discounts off of select drinks everytime youd spin it. Had good service from Jimmy, and I tried the Billionaires Burger and the Mango Margarita. It was a good meal! Being close to the airport and a number of hotels, I can see why it is so popular.
