Upscale feeling restaurant just off the main lobby in the Hilton hotel. Prices are high and quality of food is average. Overall, service was good. I had the Chicken Chop for dinner - one side of it partially overcooked; half of the carrots were undercooked and were essentially crunchy carrot sticks. The German Chocolate Bread Pudding was delicious and the star of the show!

Spencer's has become an annual tradition...we stay at the Hilton after 4 nights of camping at the Gorge and enjoying Dave Matthews Band. So nice to have a well-prepared meal at the end of an amazing weekend. This year we had the Crispy Skin Salmon and the Steak Frites....sooo good!! See ya again in 2026!!

BAR SCENE REVIEW. Most underrated SEATAC bar, definitely worth the trip, or if you are a Hilton guest its unnecessary to go wandering around looking for a cool spot (like I did for years). Cozy atmosphere, good bar bites, burgers, select dinner items, nothing fancy pants though or you will be disappointed. Sandra the bartender (sorry I may have forgotten her name, she is from Columbia, you will know...) is amazing, one of the nicest people you will meet and offers great service, is highly attentive and good company. Breakfast has always been iffy - difficult service. Food, meh. Listen, folks up that early in the morning are heading to the airport to catch a flight! You may sit there 5-10 minutes before you see a server so bake that into your travel time to the terminal. The main dining room/dinner menu, I am not a fan - the kitchen does not put out consistently good food, I fear they know generally, hotel guests are a captive audience so my guess is the restaurant manager is not on top of things. I did some research online about Spencer's for Steak and Chops and was thoroughly confused. I thought it was a chain but could not locate one sole website with all of their locations, only independent franchises popped up. I have been to several around the country that are MUCH better; Salt Lake City for instance is a significant step UP from Seattle. If Hilton manages this one, the GM needs to step in, if Spencer's is leasing the space, well, the owner should be more involved. In any case, for dinner and a game at the bar, try a Burger, NY Steak, Fillet, Rib Eye, or Roasted Chicken. I tried one of the Pappardelle dishes once it was very good. The Farmer's, Caesar, and Wedge salads are all very good. For appetizers go with the Crab Cake, or try the Buffalo Chicken Wings which are excellent, they will prepare them extra crispy if you ask. I hate undercooked slippery wings! 4 stars, bordering on 3, but the bar service was an add-on. Good bar vibe, friendly company, they aways have a game on. Very expensive $$$ price value proposition. I cannot believe the prices dining out anymore, maybe its just my tab everywhere now. $143 dinner for one, and a few drinks... included tip. Ouch.

I had breakfast here and I was pleasantly surprised. I normally don't eat breakfast but just go to Dunkin' Donuts late morning however I knew I was going to be walking a lot so decided to get a light breakfast. I ordered the Greek yoghurt with granola and berries and pastry and the presentation was really great! I could not even finish everything! Great service as well

We got to the hotel around 7 pm after a long day of travel so this restaurant was in the hotel and close. Neither one of us wanted too heavy of a meal. I started with a lemonade which was very good. I was asked if I wanted a second one but I was too full. I ordered off the appetizer menu with prawns and cocktail sauce and a bowl of clam chowder. My husband ordered the 1/2 chicken dinner. My prawns were big and tasted good. The cocktail sauce had a spoon of horseradish added on the top and we enjoyed the additional flavor. My clam chowder was delicious, creamy with diced potatoes and bits of clam. My husbands chicken was glazed. He said he couldn't taste anything but I tasted a little salty and another flavor. His chicken was served with broccoli that were a deep green and fingerling potatoes. He had a leg and veggies left over. We ordered dessert to take back to our room. A carrot cake that my husband said was awesome and a red velvet cake that was pretty dang good. They came with a mixture of fresh blueberries, cut strawberries and blackberries. 1/2 was enjoyed before bed and the other 1/2 became breakfast. The price seems a bit higher than normal but par for the hotel restaurants these days. Our server was excellent and we enjoyed her accent. We got in a conversation about just visiting Calgary, Lake Louise and Banff in Canada .

    Hanger steak

This place has amazing service, and the food is absolutely phenomenal! We had the crispy skin salmon and the hanger steak, and finished with the flourless chocolate cake. It was incredible! The bar staff makes wonderful drinks, and they are very friendly! Go hang out at the steakhouse hiding inside a hotel!!!

I just flew into town on a six hour flight from Ft Lauderdale. It's about 11:00 pm Seattle time and I'm starving. Everything in the airport is already closed, so we decided to eat at the hotels restaurant. The restaurant itself is closed but you can still order food at the bar. They have tables around the bar, but if you're traveling with a child under 21 you can't sit there and there is no other place to sit other then bringing it to your room. And yes the bar tender is nasty about telling you. So my wife ordered a couple of flat bread pizza for her and my daughter and a Cuban sandwich for me. The pizzas reminded of of the old Wendy's commercial "wears the beef", but more like "wears the pizza!" Big box, tiny little pizza, and they weren't even that good. Now the Cuban! If you want to call it a Cuban. First it wasn't even made on the one thing that makes it a Cuban, the bread. It was made on a hamburger bun and not even pressed. The roasted pork tasted like BBQ pork with one thin slice of ham and cheese. The fries weren't even good, they were so bad I couldn't even eat them. I would have been better off ordering from domino's pizza.

Spencer's sits within the Hilton Airport Hotel and Conference Center. There is ample room at and around the bar or you can sit in the restaurant area. Therese was very friendly and attentive before, during and after our dinner, and that was at a time when they were getting the dinner crowd. The food was very good. The Cheeseburger was excellent and perfectly prepared. The salmon corn chowder had an ok flavor but it was too heavy. The farmer salad was delicious. Prices were a little high but it's Seattle and it's the airport so all balances out

    Restaurant view

Phenomenal food, service, and ambience. I needed to be very close to the airport the night before I flew out back to California, and this was a perfect place because it had a Spencer's Steaks and Chops in the hotel. That hotel was Seattle Hilton and conference Center. The hotel room was great too.

All the…read moreoutdoor tables were full when we arrived at 6, so we put our name on the list for inside and waited about 30 minutes. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

They gave us these post cards to write down our individual drinks. FYI - this place requires using your smart phone to scan a QR code for the menu. We ordered 2 apps (salmon dip with pita chips & chips and cheese dip) I ordered fish and chips. Buddy got the meat loaf. Our beer showed up quick. Waiter always checked on us often. Our apps showed up and they were both delicious. Then 5 minutes later our main dish orders showed up. Wasn't too happy with that because we wasted time to taste our beers and snack on the apps. They need to work on their timing. Need at least 10 minutes in between the beer and apps. The food overall is admittedly top notch. Fish and chips FRESH! The fish was juicy and the fried crust was perfection. Pieces were large. They will ask if you want 3 or 4. 3 is enough. If they can work on timing the drinks and food this place would be a 5 out 5, but will deduct a star because of that. The overall vibe of the place was nice. Huge layout with wooden picnic style tables. Outdoor tables if you're lucky to get one. Large tanks to brew beer surrounding the room and a merch table.

Located at the north end of Pikes Place (across the street from Cutters) is this gem of a find. We made reservations online and was able to get seated quickly (it fills up fast). Looking at the menu it looked like we also timed it with happy hour (double win!). We quickly place an order for two dozen oysters (at $2/ea it's a steal) while we perused the menu. After ordering the oyster platter arrived and it was so fresh, chilled and tasty. We quickly devoured it. Moving into dinner, some got the crab rolls, but I settled for the new menu item: halibut. The delightfully savory halibut was moist and served with a nice side of potato and was as perfect as one can make a halibut dish. I would eat this again in a heartbeat. The mains were awesome, our 10oz fillets were thick and juicy with great peppercorn crust (ask, we didn't see it on the menu) and rich sauces. The sea bass was incredibly moist and flavorful to the point my no-fish son stole seconds. The lamb was arranged beautifully and cooked perfectly. We had a few not-perfect points but not big enough to detract. My son wasn't a fan of the lamb sauce, our steaks were a bit overdone for medium-rare. Still delicious. The creamed corn and augratin potatoes...omg...open a restaurant just for these. They were both creamy, impossibly flavorful, and still stand out from similar dishes you find elsewhere without straying from their core identity. Just be careful, we certainly overate and all the cream and butter/oil didn't help us on that side. I can't say much about the caviar. The ones who wanted it loved it but weren't raving. They liked the onion dip and chips over a standard cream and bread or cracker. Me...I ate a ton of the chips with onion dip only and absolutely loved it. Don't think I'd pay $40 for chips and dip but that's just more caviar for the rest of the table! Caesar was good, but hard to beat a Howie tableside. Grapefruit soda was worth it, very refreshing and strong natural grapefruit flavor. Woth a note, our server was excellent and worked with us to explain everything well, our waters were never less than half full and we're bottomless pits when it comes to water.

What it really comes down to for me is expectations being set based on pricing…read more Let's say I go to a restaurant and the cost of everything is $100 (for the math, not the realism). In Seattle, I know that there's a 10% sales tax so I would be expecting to pay about $130 after tax and tip. under this system, I order my food, the subtotal is $100, I see that I'm being charged a service charge at 21% on $110 which means I'm paying $133.00 and based on the wording of the menu, my server is getting screwed because the business is keeping that money. also, it is pretty fucked up to charge 21% on the after tax amount. Service charges and tip should be on the pre-tax amount, nobody at Seattle City Hall helped the service staff to bus dishes, or to deliver my food. So now I feel like I need to add another $20 which leaves me with $20 less and a negative final experience at the restaurant. I would much rather the menu price reflect the $119.75 pre-tax, which is still $133 with tax before tip. I don't mind spending $150 on food, when I think that's what I was going to be spending. I do mind spending that when the math seems sketchy. I don't like feeling taken advantage of, which is what the policy and the wording of the policy left me feeling at the end of the night. I suggested to the owner is it to just raise your prices to reflect your fixed costs and either get rid of tipping entirely or get rid of the service charge.
