I came here with a large group of alumni from my college. They unfortunately couldn't accommodate us since the restaurant was packed that day. Luckily they had a private room we could use at short notice so I really appreciated that. The waiters were great at taking our orders and very friendly. Unfortunately I was a bit let down by the food. I tried a few of the apps, and I think the Brussels sprouts were ok, but I didn't love the crispy shrimp. The fried zucchini sticks were not bad. I also had a glass of Rose wine that was good. Anyways, this place is just outside the airport and has a nice ambiance inside. So if you are in the area and need a bar and some food, it is ok. But I wouldn't go out of my way to eat dinner here.

Steak dinner

We had dinner at this restaurant last night and our waiter was very nice and friendly. I had prawns scampi, which were delicious and cooked perfect, unfortunately, my husband had the ribeye steak and for $62. It wasn't even a half inch thick he ordered it medium rare and it came out medium well...mentioned to waiter but he just said I'll tell the cooks.. plus it didn't come with a salad, or bread or even veggies.. just a small scoop potatoes & gravy.. service wasn't attentive as we had to ask other people for more water..

We went here with our whole family, and the service was very good! I ordered a hot chocolate which was just Swiss miss in milk- not great. However, the steak and eggs were pretty good and very filling! I also tried the chicken and waffles, which were covered in maple bacon and were solid. We went in February, so it was very cold outside. The restaurant was also pretty cold, so I asked the server to turn up the heat, and she brought a heater to our table. I didn't catch her name but her birthday is in 2 days. Extra points to her.

Neat spot. Dark ambiance inside. We went for breakfast and we had a very large party. It was very cold in the restaurant but the waitress brought out a space heater for us on request. The food was okay. We all got breakfast items and it was overpriced 21 dollars for 2 bacon and some eggs and potatoes but still decent.

Celebrated two birthdays today at 13 Coins. Clay, our server was wonderful. Walked in hungry and walked out satisfied. We had coconut shrimp, fettuccine with clams, French toast, then chicken fried steak. We were treated to the yummy creme brulee. Love the ambiance, service, and food. Great job 13 Coins and Clay you never disappointed!

I'm glad we made this stop between flights. It's just a quick ride from the airport. The food was yummy and the restaurant was very nice and clean. The service was great. We had some suitcases and large bags and they were nice enough to store it for us while we ate.

With a long layover at SeaTac, I crossed the street to 13 Coins--supposedly a Seattle institution. The place sits unassuming in a corporate building, but inside you'll find classic old-school booths that gave me hope for something good. I hit happy hour on a slow night, yet somehow service still dragged. I went for what seemed like safe bets: pepper beef and pesto clams. Being in Seattle, I figured the seafood would be a slam dunk. Wrong. The clams were aggressively overcooked--dry, rubbery, and clearly not fresh. The pesto itself had decent flavor and the crostini were fine, but when your star ingredient is that bad, nothing else matters. The pepper beef's creamy sauce tasted good (hard to mess up cream and pepper), but the beef quality was dismal and cut so thick it turned into a chewy workout for my jaw. Here's what really stings: I went back to the airport afterward and found genuinely better food at a terminal restaurant. When SeaTac is outperforming your "classic" Seattle spot, something's gone seriously wrong. 13 Coins might be trading on nostalgia and reputation, but the kitchen isn't backing it up. Save your time and money. There are too many great places in Seattle to waste a meal here.

A very short walk away from the Seattle airport, 13 Coins has real food at a reasonable price. I placed a take out order when my flight landed and it was ready by the time I walked over. It's around a 5 minute walk from the SeaTac airport light rail station, which is connected to the airport. It's a great option if you have a longer layover and don't mind going through airport security again. The interior was dark and moody and the bar seats looked really comfortable. The spaghetti with meat sauce was flavorful and the sauce was bright and on the acidic side. The bacon avocado turkey sandwich was standard and came with fries and a pickle spear. The avocado was fresh.

Walking into 13 Coins is like being let into a secret or a club. It feels like a place known only to locals or to those who happen to wander in from the nearby hotels. Situated directly across from the Sea-Tac airport at the bottom level of a sleek business building (a lot of the clientele are no doubt from this building), this is a great find. It's pricey - and it's worth it - which is more than we can say for several other restaurants in the area of the same price bracket. Giant leather backed booths and seats, fantastic dark "private club" type décor, attentive and professional waitstaff - LOUD but amazing chef in the kitchen (they call out to the assistants constantly; it's a vibe (?) - it is noisy for that reason; however, the restaurant itself is completely insulated from the outside. You can view the greenery through the giant windows without actually hearing any traffic or airplanes. Fun part is you can hear them when they call out and start cooking your order :) We ordered the chicken wings starter, then the scallops entree and the steak and eggs (they serve all meals all day and up to around midnight). This is the kind of place I've been looking for since I moved here - a place open late with options for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Every item we ordered was perfectly cooked - for instance, my steak was done exactly to my preference (medium). If I was an Italian mafia boss I would eat here every single day.

01/18/2026. Came in at around 11:30am. Walked in, both hostesses talking to each other. No acknowledgment. No "welcome in" or "how can we help you". Just stares as I interrupted to say we'd like a table for 2. They said there'd be a 15-20min wait. That was expected and understandable. Prime brunch time. Once seated (11:45am), took about 10 minutes to get water. Not sure if a server called out but the bartender did have to take our orders and other tables. He was awesome, no complaints about him, genuinely. I forgot to get his name but he was super nice and helpful. Food came at 12:24pm. Eggs Benedict and Vegetarian Omelette. It was great. No complaints there. The cooks and the bartender working during brunch time Sunday January 18th, 2026, y'all are amazing. My rating is on the environment and first impression.

We came here when a family came over from Las Vegas, it's very close to the airport and it was a good stop for brunch. We like the layout and atmosphere of the restaurant. The service is friendly, food is delicious! The pasta I ordered has a rich sauce that burst with a pleasant garlic and herb flavor. A little pricey but we enjoyed our brunch!

Beautiful booth and smiling face
