Honestly it has some random reviews about the food not being good and lack of service but I had the opposite experience. The staff was super friendly from when I walked in they welcomed us. I did know from here to just go grab a menu and then he asked if we could sit at this one table which was perfect because it gave us the space for our bags and dog. The food was superb! I've been here a few times for breakfast and it never disappoints. I love the pesto baked eggs and my husband goes for steak and eggs. They have an espresso machine so you can get a cappuccino, mocha, or latte. The place is cute and cozy inside, this morning they were playing old 80s music videos on the TV above the fireplace. The staff is friendly and warm. Don't forget to ask about the specials, they often have a few breakfast items that aren't on the menu. The vibes are super cute and cozy and the staff is awesome but I didn't enjoy the food and coffee at all. I ordered a vanilla latte and the French toast plate. Both items were so beautiful !! It looked so good and I couldn't wait to dig in. The latte was a deep disappointment. It was incredibly sweet, even the foam at the top was a sugar bomb so I think they put vanilla syrup in both the bottom of the cup as well as the steamed milk. I couldn't actually taste the coffee. It just tasted like a kids type vanilla milk and left a weird after taste. Then I tried the French toast and realized these are the same type of French toast I buy from the freezer section when I go snowboarding. You pop them in the microwave but have to eat them quick otherwise the steam wears off and your French toast becomes stiff. They were not fresh, made from batter and cooked on a stove top. I don't think they microwaved them long enough because the corners were rock hard and the middle was a little rubbery. I wouldn't be upset if it wasn't $12 for the French toast. I should've just went to ihop lol. But again, at least everything looked pretty and the staff was nice. read more

Had a nice weekday brunch with a friend here. Baked eggs, as has been said, were so good! One star down for some high pricing. For example, a side of bacon, which was 2 pieces of very basic, thin bacon was a high $4. Things like that make it a nice outting with an out of town friend, but not a daily or weekly drop in. Our friend group does Saturday morning breakfast every week--aka Breakfast Club. We usually stick to our regular spots, but this time we decided to switch it up and try something new. Enter Alina's Café. After reading reviews and checking out photos, we were intrigued--and it absolutely delivered. When we were ready to order, our server (possibly the owner) walked us through the specials: Breakfast Enchiladas with steak (red or green sauce) and Chilaquiles with steak (again, red or green). Naturally, we ordered both. Every steak was ordered at a different temperature and each one was cooked perfectly. The sauces were rich, flavorful, and genuinely delicious. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive without feeling rushed. Even though we were completely full, we couldn't resist grabbing one of their famous brioche cinnamon rolls to go. Nice cozy family feel in this cafe. I popped in for a coffee and picked up a chocolate chip cookie to take home. Sorry, no pix. I ordered a macchiato/espresso with a splash of milk - what I received was more like a cappuccino. Regardless, it was piping hot and tasty. So much that I decided it needed a molasses cookie to accompany it - oh yummers. This was delightfully chewy, depth of flavor, and perfectly baked. It was hard to share it... but I promised. The chocolate chip was also chewy and well baked. Almost tasted like it had some raisins in it. Service was pleasant, atmosphere is relaxed, and pricing is really fair. Ordered via Ubereats. I was getting my hair colored, and in didn't have breakfast yet. Never been to this place, and reviews were pretty good. Said it would take about 35 mins which no problem since it was 1030am. But I didn't get t good delivered until 1230pm. Again I don't have a problem with that since I have to wait for another hour for my color to process. What I did have a problem with is my mocha was very lukewarm, and the avocado toast had no flavor. There was pepper but no salt. I've never tasted such bland avocado toast. I guess the sweet notes cafe in Kent spoiled my tastebuds because theirs exploded with flavor. Also the mocha was a bit watered down besides not being hot. I'm siesta looking for a good place for breakfast. It's a bit far from where I live, but if their breakfast is good then I don't mind driving there to try other items on menu. A very comfortable seemingly local breakfast place. Dog friendly. My friend brought their dog. We called beforehand and the dog sat quietly under the table on a blanket. Photo of dog next time, lol. The side of scrambled egg was orders for the pup. I had already eaten so opted for the biscuit only with raspberry jam. It was such a fluffy, buttery texture perfectly balanced with the raspberry jam. The PG breakfast was ordered with scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and sourdough toast. Nothing spectacular but definitely a solid breakfast. They also have a few pastries such as biscuits, cinnamon rolls and some yummy looking turnover style selections. Apple and cherry I believe. The mimosas came regular style or seasonal. Guava was the seasonal flavor this round. The place was packed and jamming. Excellent vibes too. Families, couples, friends, dogs all welcome. Strange though, when we ordered the eggs, the only option for being cooked was scrambled or over hard. Sort of strange. A tiny parking lot behind the restaurant. Tried for the 1st time. Has great potential but just not there yet. Got the croque madame - way to much dijon, tiny amount of bechemal, ham was hard (really burnt on the ends), bread was partially burnt: Split Pea soup - excellent, no complaints. Reuben with cesaer salad was ok. Pesto egg bake was excellent. Server said potatoes had green peppers so didn't get because they couldn't be taken out and fries weren't available. The other egg bake doesn't come with potatoes and they charge $4 less. Feel they should have just done a price adjustment. The place is cute. Server was very nice but needs to learn her menu. Took way toooooo loooooooong to get our food when there were only 2 other tables. Probably will try it again. read more

I found this place on Yelp down by the waterfront. I was staying closer to SeaTac. I drove down around noon and was going to order the pesto eggs. That's what brought me here. That's where I made the mistake & deviated from my plan. The menu was great. The location was quaint and they had just enough tables. There was two staff and two in the kitchen. The coffee was fantastic and hot and fresh. The cream was cold. The only problem with the coffee was I could not get anyone's attention to get a 2nd cup of coffee. It took about 10 to 12 minutes for my empty cup to get filled. When I looked at the menu, I saw this Moroccan lentil curry and it was a light orange, reddish color in the picture and it looked creamy. It reminded me of a curry or a korma. It looked delicious. This picture was what I received. These were green lentils. The ones in the picture were obviously red lentils that were blended with curry. Maybe I'm wrong but I wasn't impressed. The toast was nice and the two eggs inside were cooked hard so basically that's what I ate. Plus the lentils were just still a little harder than I like them. So I had two eggs and toast two eggs and toast For $17 overall I'd go back and try the pesto eggs. I really want to love this place but I just didn't like the dish. And for the record, I love lentils. I cook them and eat them for breakfast all the time they're just more well done. read more

This is a great casual café for breakfast. The service was calm and friendly and relaxing. The food was good. And the music was a very chill vibe. We enjoyed the French toast, which had homemade Marion berry spread. And the pesto eggs with Swiss cheese was very good as well. Potatoes had a lot of flavor. And the cappuccino was good, but they make it with half-and-half so it's pretty creamy. Looks like they also are open for lunch or dinner. Will have to try that out in the future. So we just stood there and then another girl came in behind us and she immediately went to the counter and got a menu and sat herself and then after watching me watch her, did the waitresses address me and tell me to sit anywhere. When my husband came in from parking the car a few minutes later, I told him I think you have to grab menus because they still hadn't really spoken to me. When we did get our orders taken and food brought, that was the last time we heard from them. No "do you need anything" which we did need napkins and a steak knife and straws and ketchup. What a great little restaurant. Asked the server how long they've been there and she said about a month. Right now the old name is on the building so it was a little tricky to find. Its small and cozy and once folks find this place it'll be tough to get in. We made a reservation, right now you don't need one but bet the time is coming when you will. Pretty extensive menu for such a small place, they serve breakfast all day and lunch as well and that menu looked like it had some wonderful choices. My friend had eggs, bacon and toast and I took a jump and had baked eggs. Sounded delish and did not disappoint. It was eggs baked in an individual serving dish with a wonderful sauce and topped with cheese. Came with toast and what tasted like home made jam. Believe me I ate every bite.
