My wife and I kicked off our Party Night tradition today by going to Bruchelle's for the first time since they opened. Both our bagel sandwiches were delicious. Packed full of fresh flavors. First time visiting. Had bagel sandwiches, best ever. Kind service, clean inside, including restrooms.

Stopped by during lunch and got the grilled chicken breast and smoked ham bagel sandwich. It came with a choice of potato salad, chips, or fruit. I went with the potato salad and it was super good! The bagel was loaded with flavor and everything tasted fresh. The place itself is really cute, clean, chill vibe, relaxing music. The ladies working were so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. They've got an espresso machine for lattes and coffee, plus they serve cocktails and liquor (bonus points!). Lots of outdoor seating too, perfect if you've got your dog with you. Overall, great food, awesome service, and a nice mix of drinks. Definitely recommend checking it out! read more

Overall pretty decent experience. We arrived at around 10:20am on a Sunday, there was no line, but about 10 minutes later there was a really big line so I recommend coming before 10:30! Staff was friendly and attentive. The white chocolate mocha was alright, pretty milky and could use a tad more sweetener (although I'm aware this is subjective). The prime rib sandwich was decent. I don't think I would recommend the garlic cheese bagel though. The garlic on the sides got a little burnt which just made the sandwich taste very bitter, and we could hardly taste anything else unfortunately :( . We also got a side of the soup of the day which was the clam chowder. It came out piping hot which I LOVE. We were impressed by how good it was! We will be back to try a different bagel to see if it can redeem the garlic and cheese one. I go to Bruchelle's Bagel Bistro every once in a while and here's my update for them. The food: The food was actually really good. It was served warm and they have so many options of different cream cheese! They also have different types of bagels and many other foods besides bagels. They are a little overpriced in my opinion, however. The staff: All my encounters with the employees have been good. I find them kind and helpful! The environment: It's a small restaurant and a little bit crowded. Nevertheless, it's amazingly clean and there's huge windows so all the light can come in. I believe there is also an outside seating area. Final thoughts: Bruchelle's is an amazing restaurant, however a little overpriced. Though with the amazing people who work there, the fantastic food, and clean environment, dare I say it's almost worth the price. read more

I literally place an order, drive there in 20m since the pickup time was 20m, wait in line, only for them to tell me hey we ran out of bagels sorry our shipment just came in. Like.....what? Have gotten takeout a few times now for both lunch and breakfast orders. The bagels are very fresh, and I love the combination of ingredients that they use. They are very much worth the price, as they really fill the bagels, and plenty cream cheese, yum! The turkey havarti bagel is amazing! Their sides are great too. I also got a slice of carrot cake recently and it was divine, amazing cream cheese frosting! The location is at a traffic circle so you can easily miss the entrance! I got the maple French toast bagel sandwich. The bagel was dry and if they put the maple syrup on it I couldn't taste it. A dry toasted bagel with an egg and a piece of bacon wasn't a great meal for about $10. I got a latte with it too that was ok but not great considering all the good coffee options near by. read more

Delicious food! We got three sandwiches and a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Some bagel places have really hard bagels for their sandwiches but these were perfectly soft and chewy. Located on the corner of a short strip mall near a busy roundabout section in Covington, you can easily miss it if you don't slow down. Bruchelle's large windows brings in a lot of great lighting and their outdoor patio is a must on a sunny day. I loved the cute touch of fresh flowers on the tables. Stopped in for the first time on my way to church this morning. Cute little place with prompt, friendly service. The lady behind the counter was quick to take my order, and when I said it was, "To go," she asked which car I'd be waiting in. Subtle, but I think that's because it isn't huge inside, and they'd rather keep the space open for inside diners. Fair enough. I ordered a plain bagel with smoked salmon spread. The bagel was toasted and had a nice chew to it. But the salmon spread had onions in it and they tasted old, with that distinct metallic "old onion" taste that was most unpleasant. If I'd been eating there, I'd probably have said something but I was down the road and it wasn't worth turning around to complain. Anyway, they offer several different types of bagels with a variety of spreads, so I'm eager to give them another try -- just not with the smoked salmon spread. Hours are a bit unusual: they're closed Mondays (though that's pretty common in the restaurant industry), but open at 10 a.m. Tuesday through Friday, so no hope of getting bagels to bring in to work. Saturdays and Sundays they open at 8, and they have a bit of a bar so if you were inclined to sip a Mimosa with your bagel, they could probably make that happen. read more

I think I found a new local go-to breakfast spot! People think of a bagel shop as simple grab and go, but Bruchelle's really makes their bagel dishes worth a meal and a sit down with good company. We tried the classic breakfast sandwich and the ham and brie sandwich - straightforward but yummy and fresh. Each had a little extra flavor profile that took it just a little further to that next level. Still, I appreciated that they didn't feel heavy - which is a fine balance when it comes to breakfast food. I'm quite picky when it comes to bagels and I would consider this one of the better ones in the greater Seattle area - chewy but not dense, with just the slightest crisp to the outside crust. Decided to order a few bagels to take home, even. Apparently they're also open for happy hour and concerts in the summer evenings, which sounds fun! Small but reliable bagel shop. Really good coffee (they don't have drip coffee but Americanos are good) Bagels are delicious!!! This is the kind of a place that you order on the counter and then, they'll take the food to your table. Bruchelle's is AMAZING! I have passed Bruchelles every week for the past few years and keep telling myself I am going to stop in. I finally did it and regret not coming in sooner! I got a basic bagel sandwich on a garlic cheese bagel. It included garlic cream cheese, bacon and an egg. I felt like I was back in NYC traveling again! My husband got the Asiago cheese bagel and ate his before I could taste it! The bagel is soft and chewy with an amazing flavor profile added to the garlicky cream cheese. It comes with a side of fruit or Ellenos greek yogurt. I love Ellenos lemon and got that on the side for both of us. The sweets they offer all looked amazing, the cookie was huge. I sent the Yelp link about this bagel shop to my husband. He said this is the hidden gem and easily miss the entrance because of the traffic roundabout and the location is on the side. We like the fact that this location is a family owned place and we are continuing to support them from now. We moved to Kent about a month ago. I was in mood for a great bagel shop which was I found this on Yelp. Service is so friendly to my husband. This is fast paced environment due to popular food. I ordered to try the bagel with vegan cream cheese since I am a vegetarian and on elimination diet which is hard for me. The taste was so fresh and original. It was so soft and creamy. Worth a drive! Only 12 minutes away. For my husband, he made a remarkable comment that he ate his food. He ate bagel sandwich with egg and cream cheese. He was shocked because it was so hard to find one just like his old hometown in Santa Cruz (California). He said he will be a regular there from now. A bagel should never take over a half hour from time of order. Maybe it will be an hour as we are sitting here still waiting for food.

Let's start with the fact that my bagel had enough cream cheese to actually kill a child, couldn't even mange to get a single bit before the whole thing fell apart. Besides that the service was lacking to say the least. They said they would call my name when the order was ready;they did not, big surprise! Oh and btw this was a $66 experience for just 3 sandwiches and one tea drink. I will not be giving this place another chance, I recommend you go spend your money elsewhere! read more

This place rocks! We stopped by Bruchelle's Bagel Bistro while on our way for a day at Ocean Shores. I came for a Yelp Elite perk and ended up purchasing several other items for myself, wife and daughter. My perk was the Basic Breakfast Sandwich (Alderwood smoked bacon, fried egg, cheddar and garlic cream cheese). My wife had the Oven Roasted Turkey & Havarti bagel sandwich toasted with pesto and no cream cheese. My daughter is Vegan and she had the Vegan Breakfast Sandwich, toasted with pesto). We also had a trio of espresso drinks. While there we took a look around this new building interior with the double tall eating area that really opens up the place. The outdoor area was not in use at this hour but we could see the large concrete patio and were told they have live music outdoors there in the warmer weather. The place was new and large and well decorated. The stone front counter was very pretty. The staff were very friendly and efficient at this place was nonstop busy. There were people coming and going the entire time. It's worth noting that during the pandemic, everyone there was observing the safety protocols. We met the owners and spoke with Michelle, who was super friendly and pleasant. You can tell that this place is truly a family run business and they care about their customers. The food was fantastic! We each raved about our bagel sandwiches and the drinks were prepared perfectly. I saw they have evening hours and serve alcohol as well. I wish we lived near Covington so I could easily return here to try their other food items and even enjoy a warm evening listening to some live music. Maybe a road trip is in order this Summer? Amazing bagels! We recently picked up the basic breakfast bagel and the prime rib bagel. Both of these were amazing! I personally loved the basic breakfast bagel the most. The bagels were perfectly toasted, and the egg and bacon were perfect as well. You can choose to have chips or potato salad as your side. The chips were perfect and the potato salad had amazing flavor without being too overwhelming like some potato salads. Definitely worth the trip here to pick some bagel sandwiches up! read more

We were in the area for our kids basketball game. We brought the team here, as it had a high review and we love to support local. I had the ham and brie bagel and a strawberry matcha latte. Both were wonderful and the kids ate all their food as well. Little bit of a wait, because the place was packed, but the food and drink quality made it worth it. Workers were nice and the ambiance was lively. One patron was upset about our kids noise level. She was by herself and using two tables. We asked her if we could use one of the tables, as we needed one more table for our 7 kids, but she refused and asked us to try and figure something else out. The owner came and demanded her to give up one of the tables and she was highly offended and begin to chastise the kids for being kids. I would rate this place zero if I could. I have been coming here for years with friends. Today while quietly sitting at a corner upstairs table for a while, a basketball team of prob 8-10 years olds came storming in. There were prob 6-8 players and about 6 parents. The kids were yelling and screaming and running up and down the stairs and literally shouting the whole time. I looked at the parents and smiled an said "it's ok, I am just putting on my noise canceling headphones and smiled". Then the kids ran behind my table and clearly knocked over and unplugged my computer when I stepped away. Seriously I let kids have fun. Then they demanded I move my things so they could use part of my table. I had my computer and food. They had plenty of seats available. They told the manager to move me. He came storming up to me and huffed and started moving my things and clearing my table as though signaling to me that I need to leave. And telling them they could take over part of my table. Well I didn't leave. And I asked if we could just coexist and if the kids could just stop screaming. I had not complained about them even though a reasonable person would. He said- no they are just kids and told them to use part of my table. When I politely said I am not complaining about them and asked if we could just be in peace he said to get out of their way. And he said they could literally yell and scream and run around and play on the stairs so I could barely walk by because they are just kids. So I guess bratty kids and their parents who fail to even try to ask them to use their indoor voices are of more value than adults with friends who have come to your business and supported you for the last 5 years. When the manager realized he was wrong, he sent a server to offer me a free cocktail. No thanks, especially not before 11 am. A sincere apology for the rudeness from the manager/ owner is really what should happen. Not classy Bruschelles. Not classy Covington basketball parents. I never let my kinds yell and scream and knock peoples things over and then complain about a quiet person just sitting in peace and minding my own business. Lost some customers today... and I know a lot of people and have a lot of friends who won't be back either. Sad read more
