Cute concept. A store in the front and when you give them a password, they push a mirror and allow entrance into a speakeasy in the back, it's cutely decorated. They have a large menu full of drinks and some food items. We came for a bridal shower and it as a fun addition to the evenings events. The food was tasty, the service was decent. There was only one gal back there for a while and she was friendly but seemed busy and not super attentive. I highly recommend the truffle popcorn. Our friends loved the grilled cheese and soup and I enjoyed the burger! I would recommend checking it out! read more

This was a superfun little speakeasy! We have friends that live here and took us for an evening out which was a blast. The drinks are unique and delicious, plus the food offered comes in generous portion sizes. Staff are friendly but they are darn busy on a Saturday night. This was our second time here - the first time in the actual Speakeasy. Our first visit we sat in the street seating which was nice. At that time we had the breakfast wraps and they were really good. We really enjoyed the Speakeasy in back tonight. You have to know the secret password or scenario to get in which we bumbled a bit and it was funny but we finally made it in. Their drink menu is full of delicious, creative cocktails. I had the Verde Bloody Mary - a green twist on a tradition bloody Mary which was delicious. The food menu is simple but delicious. They have a range of appetizers - charcuterie board etc, and then if you feel you want more they have sandwiches, salads and burgers. We enjoyed a couple burgers and salad which were very good. The best part of this place is the theme and atmosphere. It feels cozy and private with the perfect decor to fit the theme. We really enjoyed it and will be back. read more

I wanted to love this place. We went for brunch. It was completely empty. The bartender/server was nice and answered any questions. The breakfast enchilada was very bland. No seasoning used at all it seemed. The potatoes in it seemed like microwaved frozen diced potatoes maybe? The sausage was not flavorful. It looked much better than it tasted. The drinks were fine but definitely on the pricey side. The concept is cute. If you've ever been to a speakeasy you'll likely find this one cheesy. We showed up and were told "we have a reservation of 15 coming in, we can't help you" by a lady with a baby on her hip (it doesn't seem professional to have a child at an establishment like that). If you're a "speakeasy" why would you take reservations? The least you could do is make a waitlist and tell people how long it will be...don't rudely refuse people service especially if you have not taken reservations in the past. I don't mind waiting! extremely disappointing and rude service. EDIT: Very unprofessional response from owner below: "First ... I'm sorry you are offended about my toddler being in the boutique part of the Speakeasy but as a small family owned business that is short staffed I am also going through a divorce and have no child care. He is raised on the bar schedule and is just fine. Second... we had full reservations where we were booked for the night and couldn't accommodate a wait list. Reservations are typically required for most Speakeasy due to small capacity. A very different place. I didn't give the front store much of an inspection. But I'm told it's a worth while clothing store. Get the password, the speakeasy is in the back. High class cocktails not found elsewhere in Enumclaw are to be found. read more

I love the Roaring Underground! Not only do they have great drinks and a huge variety of spirits, but they have some of the best staff in town. They are personable, kind, knowledgeable, and they make amazing drinks. On a separate note, they offered to open for us on a day they were closed so we could have a large group in. I've not heard of any other business around to do that. 10/10!! read more

We went to their newly opened "Speakeasy" and it was absolutely horrible - other guests in there 100% agreed. Everyone was served the wrong food, waited 30+ minutes for drinks, and management/owner were combative and swore at the people next to us! Truly an atrocious place, overpriced, rude and a complete waste of time! read more
