Stopped for the first time just yesterday on a beautiful, sunny day, the mountain was visible. A perfect day to enjoy a new experience. Stopped in looking for peaches and was impressed with what new owners have done. They have added home goods and gifts to the existing produce and canned goods. Left with peaches and the most outstanding Bigfoot Candy Company caramels made locally. Got to meet 'Sweet Pea' the dog that the store is named after, as well as what I assumed was the owner and her daughter. They were very friendly and helpful! I hope in the future they bring in some houseplants to go with the wonderful pots they had outside- would be a great gift. I am going to have to go back for those caramels often and will enjoy seeing the inventory change. read more

I recently moved to the area and stopped by because I just thought the outside looked so cute and welcoming! I loved the products and was so surprised at the affordability of the products, noting that they weren't marked up almost at all. Nine months ago I gave Yracy's Produce a great review. That all changed today after my visit. I'm a 70 year old grandmother who uses a walker. Tracy knows me as I have shoped there for years. As I walked in I told the employee I would place my purchases in my cloth bag attached to my walker as I couldn't varry them and use my walker.i went to pay for them and the clerk asked me about purchasing something she saw me looking at, and I said no. She initially put my purchases is a plastic bag, then removed them and said I could put them in my cloth bag attached to my walket. My friend and I walked to my car and the employee came out and it looked like she was taking a photo of my car. I went into tje store and asked her if she thought I was stealing something. I told her I didn't and wanted tracy (store owners phone number) to complain to her. Tracy (who remembers me from my walker) said theft had been a big problem, I said I understand and our conversation ended. As I thought about this I was furious. I. WILL NO LONGER SHOP AT TRACY'S PRODUCE!!!! I, a regular there was treated horribly!!!!! read more

I came in and was greeted by Tracy. She was very friendly. She had a variety of items: fruits, cooking jams, honey, salt water taffy and my favorite, a variety of pickled items! She had pickled asparagus, pickled jalapeño, pickled quail eggs, candied jalapeños and more. Through the years I had always driven by this place wanting to stop by, and today I decided to do just that. Immediately I noticed that this was a very warm and inviting place. They decor, the fresh produce, the jars, and the scents in the air all added to the ambiance of this place. Walking around I found a few items that I wanted to pick up before I left, about $25 worth of stuff. As I continued to explore around, I was asked 3 times specifically if I needed any help, even though they were other customers around, and some that came after I did, that never received any of this "attention". Then this other girl who worked there started following me around and keeping an eye on me behind displays. I could see out of the corner of my eye that both her and the lady at the front, both had their eyes on me. I then walked around faster in remote placed to see if I was just being paranoid, but sure enough, within a few seconds, the girl was there. I walked out having felt so angered and insulted at the way I was being treated. I don't know what their ideal customer looks like, but apparently, I wasn't it. read more

I go to Tracy's often in the summer. Beyond what the previous poster said, they also have locally made salsas and jam, syrup and whatnot. Also some more retro-candies. The staff is pretty friendly, and helpful. I will say that their prices are a little bit higher than most of the grocery stores. On the flip side all or at least most of their products are local and it's my preference to buy local. Their watermelons came from Yakima instead of California which is two thumbs up for me. read more

Disclaimer: I don't by fresh produce here. I come for the freshly canned (bottled) treats, which are packaged for the store by a local company. My faves? Pickled jalapenos (good and hot!), buckwheat honey (yum!), delicious varieties of hot and sweet pickles (double yum!), and beets (super delicious in their canning juice, which tastes of cinnamon)! The lovely, lovely beets are probably my favorite of the faves. Yes, they are a bit pricey (about $7 a jar) but I consider them a treat, and they're much healthier than say, Twinkies. Not that I'd ever buy bottled or pickled Twinkies, but you get the idea. I usually stop by the store on my way out of Enumclaw later in the day, so I've never run into crowds or had an issue with customer service. Hey, I'm in, I'm out, and I'm on my way home with pickles on board. My kinda place. And soon...pumpkins. read more

This is the place I go to get cool and unusual canned goods, soup mixes, salsas, and stuff I wouldn't even normally think to look for - but once I see it, I just have to try it because it sounds so good to eat, or to give as a gift! They do an annual Halloween party complete with bouncy houses, and treats for the kids. I was expecting to go there and spend lots of money like the usual Halloween places, but was totally surprised when the pumpkin painting table, the cooler full of water bottles, the corn on the cob cooked over a barbecue with a big vat of melted butter close-by - it was all on the house! They had a unobtrusive tip jar that I gladly donated too because I was grateful for all they had done, and provided for the kids. I also get the occasional boring veggie like carrots and green beans, but this place is so much more than that! I will be back. read more

First of all I have to say that this store is adorable and merchandised beautifully. The mix of produce, gifts, and locally made gourmet food is really nice. I've shopped here four or five times. Secondly I want to say that I LOVE supporting small, independent & local businesses.... I seek small businesses out. I do not live in the area (I'm actually about a 30 minute drive away) & although I've never been impressed with the customer service here, but it's never been bad enough to make me not want to support the business. I've never been treated rudely here, but there's never a real friendly vibe like I expect at a cute place like this. Today I was hanging out with a girlfriend and we were "shopping small". I was excited to show her Tracy's. We got to the store 15 minutes before closing and it was obvious they were ready to lock up. The lights in the back of the store were already off, so we didn't even feel like could even walk back that far to shop. Fortunately I knew exactly what I was looking for... (it was a $50+ purchase) so I was able to pick up my item and pay right away. Customer service was not good & there was no real expression of appreciation for shopping at their place of business. When we got to the car my friend shared her observations with me and it just solidified my decision not to support this business any longer. I'd rather spend my money where I feel my business is more appreciated. read more

Love this "little road side stand"! It's actually much larger than I anticipated. I've been by several times before stopping in to check it out. They had a great selection of local and fresh in-season produce and fruit. But it didn't stop there, they had local wines, jams, soaps, lotions, chocolates, candy, dressings, honey, oils, spreads, I mean, they have SO MUCH! Not the cheapest but it's local and amazing stuff. I bought some pangang curry sauce (which is seriously not easy to find, especially anything as tasty as this unless you are IN a Thai/Vietnamese restaurant). I bought several local honey jars (lavender I think?) as well as some jam. So stop by and take a look, I think you will be intrigued at the least! Stopped by today to get a flower basket, tomatoes and some veggies. Went to walk in and someone who works there blocks the entrance with her hands on her hips. She's saying hello but she has a funny look on her face. I said hello and and said I wanted to go in. She was definitely not friendly even though she was saying "well I was saying hello" while rolling her eyes. Yeah, but you're also blocking the door. Really a shame because this is usually a nice place to stop. Today I felt very unwelcome. Not sure why this woman was being so rude. read more

Simply put this is far more than a roadside produce stand, it's a friendly country atmosphere with helpful staff and a wide selection of quality gifts and food items. This is a very rare gem and the area is lucky to have this place. I just recently discovered it and have now sent dozens of my friends there who all agree that it's a great place and they plan on going back often. read more

Tracy's Roadside Produce is a great place to get fresh produce, soy candles, taffy, honey, teas, and other knick knacks that you can only find in a small town store. Locally owned, this little place is easy to get to. It's right off the road when you are driving from Auburn to Enumclaw (it's on the left side of the road, and it's right before you get to the Yella Beak). The store is open from May until the end of December. The people who run this place are very friendly, know a ton about all the products that are in the store, and are helpful if you have any questions. I would highly suggest this place to anyone who is on their way up to Crystal Mountain and need some veggies to snack on. I really enjoy the soy candles too! They burn with less smoke than regular candles. read more

This is my favorite place to shop for produce. All of the staff are extremely helpful and kind. They are always willing to go the extra mile for you. I love to come here for the "odd" fruit. We've had yellow watermelon, UFO nectarines, white asparagus, pluots, kiwi berries, some speckled melons, and much more. My kids love to drop in and see what is new. It is our special thing to do on the weekend. The prices are reasonable as well. That was one of my initial concerns that kept me from stopping in for years, but once I did it was remarkable to me that I was spending less than I would at the grocery store and I was getting fresher produce that was local! This place has decent fruit, but I have recieved horrible service everytime I have gone there. I honestly feel like i was discriminated against because I use my WIC checks to pay. I was driving by and saw a sign for local asparagus- I stopped and wandered in. I had never been here before. One of the ladies working seems like she was having a rough day because she was pretty bitchy. I was looking for a plastic bag for the asparagus and she wasn't friendly- all I got as a "what are you looking for?" Obviously I was looking for something but wouldn't it be nicer to say "how can i help you?" I wasn't feeling the vibe so I grabbed some veggies in their crowded store and headed for a check out. Another woman ended up helping me, perhaps Tracy herself as she was friendly and knowledgeable. She let me know of some the deals on the front porch that I didn't see and wasn't informed of when I walked in. I ended up spending about 12 dollars on produce, the quality is ok. I prefer my beets with stems. I won't be back nor would I ever search this place as a destination. For the area, I think it's good that they are around, not much grocery wise within 5 miles... read more
