This furniture store has been in Enumclaw for as long as I can remember (it's changed names several times but remains). A lot of the items are full retail price but once in a while you can get a great deal. During this year's Street Fair - I walked by and saw a cute desk and hutch (reg $799) and ended up getting it for the oldest girl for $95!! She wasn't in love with the hutch, so I basically paid $95 for a desk (which was still a deal). Staff here are always super nice and helpful even if I'm "just looking". read more

Allen's was recommended to me by a friend that recently bought some furniture from them for her new house, she said the experience was great and I will have to agree! I bought a bed frame from them, there was a little mix up with the pieces and they quickly switched them out and assembled the frame for me. Experience was so great, I bought a couch from them and it got deliveries 2 days ago. I'm IN LOVE! They have a large variety of stuff and a TON of seating options! Their sales staff AND delivery employees are all extremely wonderful! Honestly can't wait until I need to buy some more furniture so that I can go up there to shop again. read more

Buyer Beware A year ago we bought a Stanton couch, loveseat and a recliner. Paid over 6,000.00 for the set. Waited almost 6 months for the furniture to be delivered. Finally they delivered the furniture and immediately noticed the back of the couch was slashed due to a knife opening the box by the delivery personel. We immediately notified Ben the store manager who stated he would have Stanton send a new one to us to replace the cut back. Also the recliner leaned to the left side and tilted, and when you tried to recline in it the bottom of the chair was broken and would not close all the way. So we paid top dollar for broken furniture. We were told by Allen furniture they would order a new back and have it shipped to us in a couple of months. We received that new back and it was a darker color than our couch.....so it was useless to us and we still have a cut back on our couch that shows the wood. Now the chair, well we were told by Ben that a service guy would come out to our house and look at the chair, which he did. Agreed the whole mechanism to recline this 1,500.00 chair was broken and needed to be replaced and that they would contact Stanton to have new mechanism shipped and come to our house to repair the chair. This mechanism is 6 months out to be shipped!!! When it does come it will need to be repaired in our home and hope this fixes it. This chair is the reason I went to Allen Furniture in first place as I was in a car accident and could not sit and needed to recline due to back injury. The furniture was over 6,000.00 in total and I have no usable recliner and ripped couch. I do not recommend Allens Furniture in Enumclaw and wished I had never gone there as I have no use of the recliner over a year later. They should have immediately sent a new chair as I was injured and needed that which I spent good money for but instead I have a broken chair in my living room for over a year and cannot sit in. They showed no customer service or interest in making this right. No discount of any kind or concern that all of this experience happened at their store. Buyer Beware read more

I visited this store twice. Both times the staff was fabulous. I wanted to get a new couch but on my first visit there was nothing that grabbed me. Went again few months later and found the perfect couch and the right color and pillow fabric. Brooke was extremely helpful and dealt with my picky needs. I purchased a Stanton couch which I absolutely love! I've had it a week or so and I couldn't be happier. This store has great selections and very nice accent decorations as well. Be sure to check them out if you are in the area. And their delivery charge and drivers are the best! read more

I recently purchased a sectional from Allen's and want to give a shout out to our salesman, Allen. He is extremely patient and friendly. It took me about 10 trips in, and many hours to decide what I wanted and he was always helpful and patient. We decided to purchase because of this, we went to the Old Cannery and I spent over an hour waiting for someone to help me with the same sectional, and chose to spend a bit more to go through Allen's. We found some great pieces that we wanted to purchase from here, the customer service was nice, they really touted that they'd price match within 60 days of purchase if we found a better price BUT when we actually found a better price, they wouldn't honor it =( Their website clearly states: PRICE Allen's Furniture has an everyday low price guarantee so you don't have to wait for the sale of the year. We guarantee our price against anyone including the internet. Doesn't say "less shipping" or anything eluding to shipping costs being a factor, but they still would NOT stand by their word. It's too bad really, we would have loved to purchase from a smaller, family owned business, putting our money back into the community. I'm pretty sure this falls into a "false advertising" legal dilemma too, but I doubt we'll pursue it as we just don't want to support a business that operates under fallacies. It was my first visit to Allen's and coincidentally I was greeted almost immediately by Allen, not the owner, and after a few questions he showed me every sectional couch in the style I was looking for and informed me of the important details, ie., the different options in arrangement, where the furniture was manufactured, how it it was manufactured, and the warranties on each choice. He also pointed out the depth of the seating, how long it would take to get each couch, and other details I may have forgotten to ask. Consummate professional as they say. Very impressed by this guy and will make sure he is there when I return with my husband to complete our purchase. read more

I want to start this out by saying we have bought several pieces from Allen's in Enumclaw & always try to support local businesses first. I am currently ready to furnish my entire new home & picked out a set I wanted to purchase for the first bedroom we are doing. Brook was the associate working the sales floor today. My parents were with me when I asked if I purchased the whole set along with ordering additional pieces if there was a discount that could be had. Brook immediately was rude & defensive saying that we were bullying her. She then proceeded to raise her voice and said that they aren't a car dealer & we don't deal. I had just inquired since I was ready to spend a large amount of money with them. It caught us all off guard with her rude behavior & made the environment very uncomfortable. I walked in prepared to furnish every room in my new home with a budget of $20,000 to do so. They lost a very large sale from my family. Not only this but I believe networking & reputation are valuable to a business & with the industry I am will make sure to NEVER recommend Allen's furniture to anyone. I worked customer service for many years & would have never treated customers as Brook did today. I will now take my business elsewhere. She made it clear that they do not discount any items & all prices are firm... When I was in the store in November 2016, they were negotiating the price on one of their industrial style tables. I found the same set at the Old Cannery for less. I rarely post on Yelp unless I feel that the consumer needs to be aware of a certain business. Brook's behavior at the store today warrants this review. I had even recommended my family from Port Angeles to buy their new set here in January & they were also treated poorly & it was hard for us to believe since we have not had problems in the past. Their incident along with mine today is why I post this review. By the way my family from out of town purchased the same set that Allen's had at another local store for close to $350 cheaper! A lot of their items can be found at other local retailers for a fraction of the price but I am a big supporter of small business & pay the premium to support but believe mark ups of this caliber is just plain taking advantage of the consumer. At the rate of disrespect/service we received today I don't foresee this company lasting much longer in our small town. Hopefully they provide Brook with the proper utensils so this will not happen to any other customers. We were blown away by her behavior & will never be back! Issue after issue with this company. My husband and i ordered a couch set thru Allens in November 2016. We were referred to Allens thru a coworker and since they had good reviews and were close to home. I wanted to give them a try. My husband and i looked over their showroom and instantly feel in love with a oversized chair and a loveseat and an ottoman. We feel even more in love with the fact that we could customize it anyway we wanted too, with colors and thread style and so forth. We placed our order and put 50% down on our new set. They told us we would expect delivery in 10-12 weeks and that the remaining balance was due at the time of delievery. Which was perfect. After 6 weeks went by a customer service rep called and told me that our new set was ready for delievery.( i was so surprised and pleased) however they told me that when they were doing their inspection that they found a tear in the arm of our loveseat and that they had to order a new arm for the chair. But assured me it was already ordered and that i would be receiving the new arm in about 4 weeks. After they delievered my new set. I knew i was going to be expecting a tear on the arm. And that was it. Come to find out after getting the couches delievered, an arm rest was torn also a wooden leg had a big gash in it as well. So i had to call and had to reorder those part aswell.. 6 weeks later. I recieve my new parts. And now the color doesnt match and they have to come out again. Which will now take another 6 weeks for the new parts to come in. Please everyone steer clear of this business and dont waist your time. I waited a total of 18 weeks for these couches and they are still not right. read more

We fell in love with a full set, recliner couch, recliner chair and recliner loveseat made by Flexsteel at a large furniture store located in Summer WA. We found that after deliver charges including removal of our old furniture, would cost us more than $300 over our budget. They wouldn't budge on their total price. We began calling around to other furniture stores in the area that carried or could order the exact couch set we wanted and made our first stop at Allen's. We met with a sales consultant named Ben H. Although he showed us other wonderful options we were set on the exact Flexsteel model and color we had seen elsewhere. Ben looked up the model/color and advised us he had to order it which was fine with us. We reaffirmed out budget limitations and settled on a total cost including deliver and the removal of our old furniture saving us $300 over the price quoted by their competitor in Sumner. The delivery and removal went smooth and quick. At the very least, give these guys a call to see how they can help you. We will always include Allen's Furniture when looking for future furniture items. read more

We found a 3 piece leather furniture online and called Allens furniture to see if they had it? They did not have it but special orderd it for us and their price was lower than what we were looking at. When we got the furniture home we quickly realized leather was not for us! I called the owner and explained to him that our backs were hurting and we needed a solution. He went way above and beyond and came out to our house to look at the design of our living room and offered to exchange our furniture with something else! I was so impressed! We spent countless hours in their showroom looking for the right sofa for us! Allan and John ( the owner) were so kind and so patient with us! Their store has everything you need to furnish your home, including blinds( which we will order from them) . It is hard to get good customer service these days, and what I love about Allens furniture is that they truly care about their customers! It's a small community and they value that! We won't shop anywhere else and we will be telling all our friends about this place. If they don't have what you are looking for they will find it for you! We are customers for life!
