I was so impressed with her knowledge and warm customer service, I decided to make an appointment with her at their Auburn location a few days later. It was well worth the drive! Michelle goes the extra mile to make sure customers understand the process, the different options for all of the high-quality mattresses they carry, and works very hard to find every cost savings possible. She was also beyond patient while I tried out 5-6 beds (some more than once!) I am absolutely thrilled with my new mattress purchase, and can't wait for it to arrive at my home! Highly recommend to anybody even considering a new bed (mine was 11 years old, yikes!)

I've had two spine surgeries and my husband has sleep apnea, so Dina showed us in detail different adjustable bases, and we found exactly what we need for our health and comfort. Since it was closing time, we decided to take all the info home with us, look it over some more, showed up the next morning and purchased all our items which, in comparison to other stores, was a GREAT deal...all because Dina took time to walk us through every step of our purchase, including financing. She made the who experience easy, informative, and, dare I say, fun! We felt like we were talking to a fun relative and not a sales lady. Our items were not in stock, but again, Dina worked her magic and our bed was in our new house within 2 days!! I highly recommend this store, and ask for Dina for assistance. Good news and bad news. Let's start with the bad or completely inexplicable. We were talked into…read morebuying a base for the mattress, which was essentially just a metal platform onto which to place the mattress. It had no wheels so it could not easily be moved. It also was fairly flimsy. After a short while, we wanted to trade that frame for a Hollywood frame, much sturdier with wheels. We also bought a box spring unit to place between the frame and the mattress. Here is the rub. Mattress Depot brags that you can trade in your mattress if you don't like it--even up to three months after you bought it. But would they allow a trade on the frame? You would think so, because nobody sleeps directly on the frame like they do the mattress. The quality is unchanged. But NOOOOOO. Guess what? "It's company policy." How frustrating. The good? We got a decent mattress, and the person running the store did try to intervene with management to treat us fairly on the frame, without success. Overall, though, because of the management's petty policy on frames, we will not ever do business with this company again. There you have it. The moral is, treat people fairly all the way or chances are their memory of you will be negative and they will tell all their friends to avoid you like the plague. Penny-wise and pound-foolish.

I was just pointed in the direction I had came from. There was no folowup or additional help from anyone. There was plenty of staff walking the floor who were Not assisting other customers. To give you a backstory, my husband and I are an interracial couple and, throughout our furniture buying experience, we have felt as though many of the stores that we have walked into have racially profiled. Not only have stores not offered to help, many of them have barely even acknowledged that we had entered the building. I wish I could tell you the number of times we have been neglected service in favor of an all-white couple but there are honestly too many to count. So many times, after leaving stores my husband has turned to me and said, "I guess my money doesn't have the same value here." Let me just tell you - this was NOT the case at Mattress Firm. We were greeted immediately upon entry by Hunter, who showed us nothing but absolute respect the entire time we were there. He looked each of us in the eye when we spoke and did not favor conversation with one person over the other, both of us were heard and respected the ENTIRE time. (This is something that is also important to me as a woman.) I am telling you, this kind soul took us from mattress to mattress, really assessed our needs and listened to what we were looking for and found us the most perfect product. We came in intending only to buy a mattress but ended up buying an adjustable base and two pillows because, obviously Hunter is an amazing salesperson, but he actually took into consideration everything we had said and found products that are going to completely change the way we sleep. Additionally, Hunter did everything in his power to get us the absolute best price possible! We truly felt seen and valued during this experience. Like I said before, this ended up being about much more than buying a mattress for us... this was a genuine, human interaction. This was being seen and valued as people with no sort of prejudices or preconceived notions, and you just can't put a price tag on that. There were other customers in there as well that wasn't getting any help. We were in the store for a hour and a half. We found 1 person laying on the chair in back and he said he worked there and was on break. I asked him when he got off break if he would come help us and he told us 5 minutes more on his break. We said ok come find us when you are done we found a couch we wanted to purchase. We waited on the couch for 30 minutes and no one ever came. Very disappointed.
