I was at this bar on Saturday night, and what I witnessed was not just bad service--it was…read moredangerous, negligent, and a textbook example of how bars lose liquor licenses. There were approximately 15 people in the bar and two bartenders working (one male, one female). Despite the low volume, they had no control of the room and kept switching positions behind the bar while the situation steadily deteriorated. Multiple patrons were clearly and excessively over-served. One young woman was passed out unconscious in the bathroom. The man she was with asked the bartender to check on her, and the female bartender refused. Had other patrons not stepped in, that woman could have woken up alone, scared, and locked inside a closed bar. That is not just negligence--it is a serious safety violation. The male bartender was drinking alcohol while working and actively encouraging violence. He continued serving an obviously intoxicated man while instigating him, telling him he could beat up another customer. This happened openly, in front of the bar, with zero concern for consequences. Two patrons who were actually helping de-escalate situations and looking out for others' safety were 86'd and treated poorly, while the real problems were ignored. Meanwhile, the female bartender was encouraging her boyfriend to fight other patrons, and the male bartender joined in by antagonizing already drunk customers. One confrontation stemmed from a customer simply asking for a real glass instead of a plastic one. This is not a "rough night." This is gross incompetence and reckless behavior behind the bar. Over-serving, refusing to check on an unconscious patron, drinking on the job, and encouraging fights are exactly the kinds of violations the liquor board takes very seriously. If you are the owner, consider this a warning you should be grateful this came through as a review and not an official complaint. Because what happened Saturday night is absolutely the type of situation that gets reported, investigated, and documented. These bartenders should not be working unsupervised--if at all. They put patrons at risk and put your business directly in the crosshairs of regulators. The customers who were 86'd while trying to keep people safe should be allowed back. The staff responsible for this behavior should be removed before someone gets hurt and your liquor license becomes a discussion instead of a guarantee. This bar doesn't just need better service--it needs better judgment behind the bar. Immediately.

Fine, but took her Washington State ID down to another bartender to look at it for 5 minutes. I asked her what was taking so long and she pouted and said it was a non-standard ID. Huh? You're a barrender and never seen a non-druver WA ID before. We left to find a more friendly bar down the street.

We wanted a weekend away and will absolutely be returning!…read more The interior of the hotel is lovely with ample places to relax and enjoy a quiet weekend including the lounge, a seat by the fire out front, or just relaxing in the room itself. We stayed on the spa floor and having an in-room fireplace made for such a cozy addition to an already great stay. Spa treatments and dinner, while a bit pricey, were well worth the cost in our opinion. Even the waiting/relaxation area for the spa felt luxurious with a lit fire, snacks, and a tea station at the ready! And for the Twin Peaks fans there are a variety of great nods to the show without feeling like you've stepped into a tourist trap. Themed cocktails and a handful of shop items were tasteful and unique! Overall, Salish has landed on our "to revisit" list as a fast favorite!

The 40 min drive was totally worth it to see the falls and we had the best brunch here!…read more Parking looked a bit tight but we got lucky... also pro-tip go to the bar area... we walked up with a kid without reservations and the dining room had a 2 hour wait BUT luckily we we were able to get seated at a great table by the bar without waiting.. Our waitress was so helpful and personable... she made for a nice experience. The food was excellent! My buddy ordered the big American breakfast and it's the most food I've ever seen at brunch! It came with overnight oats, pancakes, yogurt, meat, eggs and choice of drink... so wild! I ordered the pork shank benedict and wow! The croissant was a great base, pork done very well and the hollandaise was out of this world! And don't forget the biscuits!

Stopped into town for ice cream but ended up stumbling across this place and I'm so glad we did!…read moreIt's the kind of classic, no-frills spot where you can grab a cold beer, catch a game, and dig into some seriously satisfying comfort food. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming. Every server we interacted with was smiling and genuinely friendly. It really added to the atmosphere. You can tell the staff enjoys working there, and that kind of energy is infectious. Now, the food: the burger was exactly what I crave when I think of a good, old-fashioned burger. Nothing over-complicated, just juicy, well-seasoned beef, melted cheese, and a toasted bun. It was cooked just right, with that perfect balance of savory and juicy. Simple, but executed beautifully. On the side? Two absolutely gigantic onion rings that were golden, crispy, and sweet. The batter had a light crunch without being greasy, and the onions inside were tender and flavorful. Basically onion ring perfection. The mozzarella sticks were another standout. Hot, gooey, and with a satisfying cheese pull that was honestly Instagram-worthy. Crispy on the outside, melty on the inside. Exactly how they should be. I wouldn't recommend the cocktails. They were trying too hard with a fancy mixology vibe that didn't quite land. But the beer? Cold, refreshing, and just right with the food and the atmosphere. Why go? If you're looking for a relaxed spot to hang out, enjoy a game, and eat some really solid comfort food, this place delivers. It's the kind of place you leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
