There were approximately 15 people in the bar and two bartenders working (one male, one female). Despite the low volume, they had no control of the room and kept switching positions behind the bar while the situation steadily deteriorated. Multiple patrons were clearly and excessively over-served. One young woman was passed out unconscious in the bathroom. The man she was with asked the bartender to check on her, and the female bartender refused. Had other patrons not stepped in, that woman could have woken up alone, scared, and locked inside a closed bar. That is not just negligence--it is a serious safety violation. The male bartender was drinking alcohol while working and actively encouraging violence. He continued serving an obviously intoxicated man while instigating him, telling him he could beat up another customer. This happened openly, in front of the bar, with zero concern for consequences. Two patrons who were actually helping de-escalate situations and looking out for others' safety were 86'd and treated poorly, while the real problems were ignored. Meanwhile, the female bartender was encouraging her boyfriend to fight other patrons, and the male bartender joined in by antagonizing already drunk customers. One confrontation stemmed from a customer simply asking for a real glass instead of a plastic one. This is not a "rough night." This is gross incompetence and reckless behavior behind the bar. Over-serving, refusing to check on an unconscious patron, drinking on the job, and encouraging fights are exactly the kinds of violations the liquor board takes very seriously. If you are the owner, consider this a warning you should be grateful this came through as a review and not an official complaint. Because what happened Saturday night is absolutely the type of situation that gets reported, investigated, and documented. These bartenders should not be working unsupervised--if at all. They put patrons at risk and put your business directly in the crosshairs of regulators. The customers who were 86'd while trying to keep people safe should be allowed back. The staff responsible for this behavior should be removed before someone gets hurt and your liquor license becomes a discussion instead of a guarantee. This bar doesn't just need better service--it needs better judgment behind the bar. Immediately.

Fine, but took her Washington State ID down to another bartender to look at it for 5 minutes. I asked her what was taking so long and she pouted and said it was a non-standard ID. Huh? You're a barrender and never seen a non-druver WA ID before. We left to find a more friendly bar down the street.

It's quite literally on the other side of the mountain from us - just over Chinook pass on the west side. We were looking for a spot to grab some lunch after an early season hike of Naches peak loop, and this place was the one we were looking for! For those "uneducated" about very small towns in central southern Washington, Naches is a one such town. Anytime we see a spot that's named after somewhere near us, we generally try to check it out, so imagine our surprise when we came across this magic little hole in the wall. It's very rustic/mountainy feeling inside and out. From the pool table room with dollar bills stapled to the wall, to the old school bar, and the yard out back with extra seating, this place oozes small town charisma! The menu isn't huge, but it was very good! Burgers, chicken, salads, fish 'n chips and some seriously dope cheese curds are all at your fingertips! The drink selection is solid, trends towards a biker bar (not surprisingly), and had some good non-alcoholic options. The woman who took our order, may have helped make everything, and was quick to get our drinks and food out to us. There was a bit of a crowd and she did nice job of taking care of everyone. As a random aside, you should check out the bathrooms and their decor. It's quite a unique spectacle! On a nice day, there are few places nicer than a spot like this. If you're driving over highway 410, this is place you should plan to check out!

My goodness!! Had such a great time. My wife came into town, and we decided to get our buddy out of the house and drove out to Bonney Lake, called him up and said get off your @$$ and meet us at Glow. And sure enough, he turned out. This place was amazing. We grabbed a spot up front by the bar and the indoor fire pit, which was great ambiance to the whole experience. We ordered several mouthwatering drinks, along with a couple smoked Old Fashioneds.... ALL of them were fantastic. We also ordered the Nachos, smothered in cheese with black beans, pico, and that sauce! Think it was lime and avocado cremas... man that popped in the mouth! We had a great bar tender, who crafted incredible signature cocktails. Thank you for such a great experience and apologies for the somewhat pathetic review from the first time. Definitely will be back, as this place made us all glow a bit brighter! As always, Enjoy & Happy Glowing!!

What a difference 40 years makes…read more I was at the Salish Lodge on a business trip for a week in 1989, and it was one of the most lovely experiences I've ever had. By the end of the first day, every valet and front desk person knew all of us by name, and they bent over backward to be helpful and treat us like valued guests even though we were working an event and weren't the ones paying for the rooms. (Our company had bought out the entire lodge, which was much smaller at the time.) All the guest rooms at that time faced the river and had a beautiful view of it. Not so anymore, as they've renovated the lodge and many rooms have either no view or a view of trees (definitely beautiful) but not the river. The latter was our experience. There was a tiny glimpse to be had if you peered far off to the right, but otherwise our view was the trees. This was disappointing simply because we didn't know the place had been added on to and now had non-river view rooms. My husband, who had given me this trip as a Christmas present, was very disappointed and asked if there were any river view rooms available instead. Sure -- for $700. (No thanks.) We stayed in our $400+ tree view room instead, but honestly, this room is about $250 overpriced. For that price, one would expect everything to be in perfect condition, plus a large-ish room. Not the case in ours. It's smaller than the size of a standard La Quinta or Comfort Inn type of room, has no dresser or drawers to unpack your clothes (unless you remove the iron from the 6"x6" drawer it's stored in), and the "closet" is an IKEA-like unit in the entryway of the room. There's a fireplace, a TV, and a small desk, plus two chairs crammed into the corner, and a narrow balcony outside to listen to -- not see -- the river. The bathroom has a shower with two rain-style shower heads, so bring something to cover your hair if you don't want to drench it every time you shower. (The hotel doesn't provide shower caps -- only a small bottle of lotion and some Q-tips and a make-up removal wipe that doesn't remove makeup. It's just to keep you from getting it on the white towels.) As to the room's condition -- There are lamps on each side of the bed. Mine had a wonky switch that had to be jiggled just so in order to work. It's supposed to be dimmable, but mine was either on or off. There is also a reading light built into the headboard. Mine didn't work. Also, water was shooting out the side of one of the shower heads where it connects to the pipe in the wall. I did tell the front desk the next morning, and they offered to move us to another room. I didn't want to have to pack up all my stuff and move to another room that may have had less of a view than we already had, so I told them we were leaving for the day and asked that someone come in to fix the issues. They did, but about six hours after I put in the request, my husband received a text asking when it would be convenient for them to come in. Needless to say, communication between the staff isn't great. As of this writing (getting ready to check out on Day 4), now the fireplace isn't working. It stopped last nigh

It was such a nice way to unwind and honestly made for a really fun date with my fiancé. Elisa was absolutely wonderful. She was so sweet and incredibly knowledgeable about the wines, and we had so much fun learning about everything we were tasting. We got to try some of their newer releases, which was such a fun part of the experience. The Viognier was definitely my top favorite. I loved it so much that I ended up getting an extra splash at the end, which was so kind of them! The Cinsault was interesting because we were told to expect cherry, Jolly Rancher, juicy and fresh flavors, but for us it came across a little more bitter and dry than we expected. The Grenache reminded us a lot of the Block 9 Chateau Ste. Michelle Cabernet Sauvignon, if you've ever tried that one. We also got the charcuterie board to snack on while we tasted. The grapes were especially crispy and fresh, and it was nice to have something to nibble on, especially because I was so hungry by the time we arrived! I had read some of the previous reviews about the board, so I came in with fairly low expectations. It definitely wasn't the most elaborate charcuterie board I've ever had and probably wouldn't be something I'd order again for $20. It felt more like a pre made snack box than something especially memorable. We still completely finished it, though! The space itself is so cute and beautifully designed. We happened to go on a sunny day and the natural light coming through the windows made it feel especially bright and inviting. It was comfortable inside and never felt too hot or too cold. I also love that Sama Cellars is right in the heart of Redmond Town Center, so it's really easy to make an afternoon out of it. There are so many shops and things to do nearby that you can easily browse around before or after your tasting. Overall, we had such a lovely afternoon. The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was peaceful, and it was genuinely just a really enjoyable experience. I'd definitely come back to Sama Cellars for another afternoon of wine tasting!

The vibe is laid-back and welcoming. Every server we interacted with was smiling and genuinely friendly. It really added to the atmosphere. You can tell the staff enjoys working there, and that kind of energy is infectious. Now, the food: the burger was exactly what I crave when I think of a good, old-fashioned burger. Nothing over-complicated, just juicy, well-seasoned beef, melted cheese, and a toasted bun. It was cooked just right, with that perfect balance of savory and juicy. Simple, but executed beautifully. On the side? Two absolutely gigantic onion rings that were golden, crispy, and sweet. The batter had a light crunch without being greasy, and the onions inside were tender and flavorful. Basically onion ring perfection. The mozzarella sticks were another standout. Hot, gooey, and with a satisfying cheese pull that was honestly Instagram-worthy. Crispy on the outside, melty on the inside. Exactly how they should be. I wouldn't recommend the cocktails. They were trying too hard with a fancy mixology vibe that didn't quite land. But the beer? Cold, refreshing, and just right with the food and the atmosphere. Why go? If you're looking for a relaxed spot to hang out, enjoy a game, and eat some really solid comfort food, this place delivers. It's the kind of place you leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
