How fun! We found the vault. It was definitely a nice intimate setting. I will say the music was a little too loud for my liking. I especially liked the homage paid to the seattle underground by the details in the ceiling. It was a great end to a date night. We got one drink and left.

My friend and I are collecting stamps for the Mcmenamins passport. We always enjoy the hunt for hidden rooms and this one did not disappoint. I did not get a drink but the place was packed. Cute, small hangout.

Saturday night, exploring a McMenamins in Tacoma when we overheard talk of this allusive speakeasy. We were able to find the two super secret entrances to this place and were immediately raving about the small space. It was cold though (I was in a summery dress, go figure) Drinks were STRONG. But delicious. Pricy, but worth it. We took our drinks from this bar and wandered around the hotel exploring. Loved it so much.

An interesting little spot, tucked away in a "secret" place within the building. The single person bar & small space that we found empty when we visited, so we were quickly served & were able to just hang out. We didn't stay long due to the big temperature of the room and overall dullness Overall I found it to be a small place where the vibe drives the mood. Expensive drinks overall for the building. It'd be fun to explore each of the bars and find a niche for yourself.

Very excited to find this secret bar! I loved the hidden door. I have always wanted to check this place and happy I finally got the chance! I love the vibe and decor. The secret door is probably my favorite thing can't wait to go back with my sister.

Loved the adventure of finding the place. The bartender was top tier and made us drinks off a past menu when describing what kind of drinks we liked. There isn't a ton of seating in there but it makes it intimate. Don't bring your large friend group in here, because you will disturb the vibe and crowd people.

Very good but limited Polish food selections in a nice atmosphere with great service. Great to patronize a new business.

It's a nice place to relax but can get very busy as These hidden bars are often quite popular with McMenamins customers.

Seating is limited, but the bar is fully stocked! We ordered the chicken caesar salad and the Lil Saigon Sliders. The salad was fresh and crunchy, chicken well seasoned and tender, and the caesar dressing was BOMB! But those sliders..... WOW. The sliders bring everything you love about a banh mi to a mini slider that is the perfect snack size (although, they were so good we ended up ordering another) Our waitress was super kind and helpful with ordering, even suggesting a cocktail that was delicious. She then said the best option for me would be the mushrooms or the wings because they are lightly breaded and she is gluten free and does well with those. We paid for our drinks and left. I won't be coming back and it's not because of the menu.

We dialed in so that the hidden door could be opened and let us pass. This a great looking place hidden away in Stadium. The drinks menu is extensive and the galley menu looks great. Our party of three was seated at a two-top but that may have been because we accidentally made reservations for two and then emailed about a change. We ordered two Viking Fogcutters and a Miskatonic Mistake for drinking along with some focaccia and deviled eggs for munching. That pretty much fills the entire table. The drinks were great! The bread and eggs were very tasty. The focaccia was super fluffy and warm. We added three salmon chowders to eat after devouring the eggs and focaccia. The three large bowls barely fit on the table but we made it work. The chowder and biscuits were awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful (certainly not part of the Esoteric Order of Dagon).

We weren't expecting too much due to its location (off a busy street with strip mall vibes) but it's such a gem inside! You walk in and it's a normal quick service restaurant... But then once you tell them you're there for the bar or to sit down and eat they let you in through a little magical side door (think speakeasy ish). It's so cute and decorated with vintage and classic tiki items. They know what they're doing when it comes to true tiki culture. The bar is stocked with all the best rums (Appleton Estate, Planteray etc) and other libations. They have fun non-alchocholic options, too! The bartender was so nice and friendly and welcoming. We got the zombie (with alcohol) and the Cinderella which is non-alchoholic. Both were delicious and really took us on an escapism getaway to paradise. They do have food however as vegetarians our options were limited. They have fries and veggie Lumpia, beyond that it's all meat. If that's your thing they do offer little meat samples when you sit down. Cannot wait to go back and try more drinks... and would love to try dinner if they expand their vegetarian/vegan options.

Sunday Sip's were previously at a different venue but just recently it started here and it's a great place for this event. The mixed cocktails are great as is the food which I have always been partial to. Out of the recent visits I had an amazing torta, something I haven't had in a long time and a bowl with their tequila chicken for the meat which was also excellent. The more I come here the more I like it having it come at five stars at this point and time.

My sister suggested we get something to eat post tattoo at Red Star taco bar. I always get a bit sketchy about eating tacos way up here, as I am from Austin, but I was hungry and this establishment was close to the tattoo shop. So we went. What a chill place, great music, and a very interesting menu. Blake, the bartender, was nothing short of amazing. He suggested a great beer and I began reviewing the menu. There was the usual this and that of tacos , two stood out and sounded pretty damn unusual and delicious. I ordered two, one being the sriracha honey tofu, with cabbage, cilantro and pineapple and second being the kara'age fried chicken with sesame seeds, chili garlic sauce, and cabbage. Both on homemade corn tortillas. Both were absolutely phenomenal and pretty damn unusual. We struck up a great conversation with Blake on his adventure from moving from Philly to Tacoma. What a sweet guy! When we were leaving he said we made his day, but you know what, he made ours. If you get the chance please give this place a try, you will not be disappointed!
