Wow. I have never had a bar maid as rude as Tammy in my life. Kick me and my daughter out and said not to come back if she is working. Now the best part. She said I was talking to loud. REALLY. It's a tavern not a church or library. I was talking to a veteran that had a grenade go off in is face his left side of his face was damaged badly he lost his left eye and hearing isn't that great . I'm almost 60 and have never been kicked out of a tavern in my life till Tammy. Worst bar tender EVER.

Wooden Nickel from a "few" years ago!

Fun place to grab a beer on the way back from riding up at Crystal Mountain. Found this "wooden nickel" from one of my trips to Crystal Mountain. Not sure how long they've been in business, but safe to say it's been longer then 20 years ; )

I'm not sure how long the little gem as been here (by the looks of it, quite a while), but we were…read moreglad we found it. It's quite literally on the other side of the mountain from us - just over Chinook pass on the west side. We were looking for a spot to grab some lunch after an early season hike of Naches peak loop, and this place was the one we were looking for! For those "uneducated" about very small towns in central southern Washington, Naches is a one such town. Anytime we see a spot that's named after somewhere near us, we generally try to check it out, so imagine our surprise when we came across this magic little hole in the wall. It's very rustic/mountainy feeling inside and out. From the pool table room with dollar bills stapled to the wall, to the old school bar, and the yard out back with extra seating, this place oozes small town charisma! The menu isn't huge, but it was very good! Burgers, chicken, salads, fish 'n chips and some seriously dope cheese curds are all at your fingertips! The drink selection is solid, trends towards a biker bar (not surprisingly), and had some good non-alcoholic options. The woman who took our order, may have helped make everything, and was quick to get our drinks and food out to us. There was a bit of a crowd and she did nice job of taking care of everyone. As a random aside, you should check out the bathrooms and their decor. It's quite a unique spectacle! On a nice day, there are few places nicer than a spot like this. If you're driving over highway 410, this is place you should plan to check out!

The chicken sandwich was delicious and it comes with homemade potato chips which I thoroughly enjoyed. The crowd seemed to be both locals and tourists and if I was looking to hang out at a bar for the night and not going on a difficult hike at mt rainier the next day it probably would have been a lot of fun. The bartender was very friendly and polite. Thank you.

There was a gentleman there who is I guess their head bartender, sorry did not get his name, but he can crate almost anything for you if you tell him what you like in a drink. Had such a great time. My wife came into town, and we decided to get our buddy out of the house and drove out to Bonney Lake, called him up and said get off your @$$ and meet us at Glow. And sure enough, he turned out. This place was amazing. We grabbed a spot up front by the bar and the indoor fire pit, which was great ambiance to the whole experience. We ordered several mouthwatering drinks, along with a couple smoked Old Fashioneds.... ALL of them were fantastic. We also ordered the Nachos, smothered in cheese with black beans, pico, and that sauce! Think it was lime and avocado cremas... man that popped in the mouth! We had a great bar tender, who crafted incredible signature cocktails. Thank you for such a great experience and apologies for the somewhat pathetic review from the first time. Definitely will be back, as this place made us all glow a bit brighter! As always, Enjoy & Happy Glowing!!

Such a fun and unique wine-tasting experience at Sama Cellars in Redmond!…read more We tried both the Light & Bright Flight and the Mixed Flight, with five tastes in each. My favorite white was the Rhône Blanc--not too dry, with a light citrusy touch that made it really easy to enjoy. For the reds, the 2023 Grenache was definitely my favorite. The location is a little unexpected for a winery since it's in a shopping center next to Starbucks, but I actually loved the setting. There's nice outdoor seating right by the kids' fountain, which makes it especially convenient if you're visiting with little ones. Inside has a completely different feel--quiet, cozy, and perfect for a small gathering or even sitting with a book and a glass of wine. The coolest part is the presentation! The tasting experience feels a little like being in a wine lab. Your pours come in little test tubes, and you pour each one into your own glass as you taste. Such a creative detail that made the whole experience more memorable. A relaxed, approachable spot for trying different wines without the formality of a traditional winery.

The vibe is laid-back and welcoming. Every server we interacted with was smiling and genuinely friendly. It really added to the atmosphere. You can tell the staff enjoys working there, and that kind of energy is infectious. Now, the food: the burger was exactly what I crave when I think of a good, old-fashioned burger. Nothing over-complicated, just juicy, well-seasoned beef, melted cheese, and a toasted bun. It was cooked just right, with that perfect balance of savory and juicy. Simple, but executed beautifully. On the side? Two absolutely gigantic onion rings that were golden, crispy, and sweet. The batter had a light crunch without being greasy, and the onions inside were tender and flavorful. Basically onion ring perfection. The mozzarella sticks were another standout. Hot, gooey, and with a satisfying cheese pull that was honestly Instagram-worthy. Crispy on the outside, melty on the inside. Exactly how they should be. I wouldn't recommend the cocktails. They were trying too hard with a fancy mixology vibe that didn't quite land. But the beer? Cold, refreshing, and just right with the food and the atmosphere. Why go? If you're looking for a relaxed spot to hang out, enjoy a game, and eat some really solid comfort food, this place delivers. It's the kind of place you leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
