Very nicely decorated with a mid-century modern aesthetic, this cellar-style tasting room almost makes you forget you're in a shopping mall and feel more like you've escaped to Woodinville. The ambiance is warm, stylish, and surprisingly transportive. I picked the "Lite and Bright" flight since I'm usually not the biggest fan of Washington reds and tend to think the whites are often the stronger offering here--and this flight definitely did not disappoint. The Monsoon Sparkling Rosé, Röhn Blanc, and Viognier were my favorites, and I ended up taking home a bottle of the Röhn Blanc. It's such a good white blend, made with 70% Grenache from the Columbia Valley--lightly sweet, citrus-forward, crisp, and very easy to enjoy. I also ordered the white cheddar ranch pimento cheese spread with crackers, which paired especially well with the last two wines in the flight and made the tasting experience feel even more complete. There was only one person working during my visit, but she was incredibly kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. She shared her personal favorites and experience with the wines in a way that made the tasting much more interactive and fun. Overall, a really enjoyable experience, and I'd absolutely come back.

My friend and I stopped by for two tastings during a Yelp event. Parking here is super easy as it's in the town center with a garage. Upon entering we were blown away with how cute the space is! We had a super cute table reserved but opted to sit outside since it was sunny and warm. We chose the light & bright and the mixed flight as well. We ended up falling in love with the sparkling monsoon and the chilled cinsault. Both untraditional and unique wines! You're sure to find something you like here as they have a large variety of delicious wines. She shared they are known for their syrahs and Rhône style blends. They also had snacks available but we opted to skip since we had dinner. Will definitely be coming back for another glass of monsoon!

Did not intend on going out for wine, but after watching a great movie and not wanting to go home we found ourselves here entirely by happenstance. It was a quiet evening, so we sat at the bar and soaked in the ambiance which had that balance of modern minimalism combined with rustic flair that PNW often fully embraces. I tend to love it. We spent over an hour here drinking wine flights and talking to the sommelier who walked us through everything about the wine. And when I say everything, I mean everything from soil conditions, growing regions, the grape varietals, and the history of Sama. I felt educated on all things Sama by the end; a passion project of a PhD biochemist with a tech background who fell in love with wine. Sama concentrates on Rhône wine varietals so think about syrahs - bold, full-bodied red wines. If you want a light fruity white wine Sama likely shouldn't be on your list. It is always wise to check out what a small wine producer concentrates on before committing because they won't cover every single wine varietal in a single region. But if you love syrahs or you simply enjoy a fabulous night of sipping on red wine while talking with friends, Sama should be on your list.

Great Yelp Event! I'm so glad I have the opportunity to be apart of this Wine Tasting. I choose the SYRAH FLIGHT. Other tasting options: mixed flight and the other is a red flight. Open seating and it's beautiful inside . Glad to have the opportunity. The host was definitely awesome, energetic and upbeat! There are so many awards the owner has won. He's been making wine since 2021! Awesome. Wine made in Woodinville so cool! 1st taste was the SYRAH 2022 Raga Collection - my thoughts this is totally delicious. Love this one .... I give it a 5/5... 2nd taste SYRAH Rocks 2022 Bhumi Collection Naravine Estate Vineyard - my thoughts omg this is amazing it really does have the best taste extremely smooth outdoors feel and taste. Love this one as well. It's very funky in a great way. So good and delicious I recommend for sure 10/10. 3rd taste SYRAH Roots 2023 Bhumi Collection Red Willow Vineyard - thoughts this is great at the end. Totally worth it. It's bold and great. 5/5. Having salt and pepper popcorn with the flight! Then I have another pour with the one I enjoyed the most the ROCKS. Amazing experience. I love SYRAH and I'm so glad they had a SYRAH Flight! Totally worth the experience. I highly recommend SAMA CELLARS IN REDMOND!!!!! Thanks for the opportunity to be able to have this experience on a Saturday. Thanks YELP...

Amazing wines, service, and a great new place all around to chill for a wine tasting, doing some work, and learn about great wines. Shelley is a knowledgeable and patient wine expert that helped showcase these wines. Thank you! If you're in Redmond for any pre-dinner/movies, make a stop here first.

Who would have known that there was a tasting room hiding out in Redmond Town Center? We visited on a Saturday afternoon for one of their wine flight tastings. As the tasting room is located in RTC, there's plenty of parking available in the retail parking garages. The space itself was clean, open and bright, and I love how much natural light comes in. Elisa took care of us that afternoon, and it was fun to hear how Sama Cellars grew as the owner's passion project. My husband and I both tried the mixed wine flight - his favorite being the Rohn Blanc, while I enjoyed the Syrah. We also ordered a little charcuterie box, which came with an assortment of cheese, crackers, fruit, the best fig spread and meats. Alissa was kind enough to top us off with extra crackers as well when we finished the original crackers. It was a relaxing afternoon, and we ended up taking a bottle of the Rohn Blanc home! :)

I brought my son with me to try Sama Cellars at Redmond Town Square on a nice Saturday afternoon. We had the pleasure of having Lisa as our hostess who is super nice and knowledgeable of wines. After tasting some wines we settled on purchasing a bottle of the Charu (Rose of Grenache). My kids like the whites and a bit sweeter wine so this one checked both of those boxes. Sama Cellars is in a great location with lots of parking, some outdoor seating and a beautiful interior. I like this location as it away from the over-saturated Woodinville wine stores and provides a good option for those in Redmond. A great place to try after a day of shopping in this area.

Elisa was an amazing wealth of knowledge and expertise with a friendly element for sure. I was one of the few there on a slower weekday rainy night before closing. The wines were outstanding as is the story of how they got here. I even learned about shipping wine on Alaska Airlines that I was totally unaware of ( and I have flown over 1 Million Mikes with Alaska Air). I chose a couple reds and whites and can't wait to pop corks at home. Highly recommend stopping by here in Redmond Town Centre. Plenty of free parking close by and a nice stroll to get there!

I'm not a wine person but still enjoyed the atmosphere here. Beautiful interior, helpful staff, and kid friendly too! We came here for wine tasting and had the mixed flight - I liked the white more than the others but again, not a wine person so we didn't get a bottle afterwards. That being said, still a nice place to check out.

What a fantastic find in the heart of Redmond Town Center! We had their mixed flight, and our favorites were the viognier that was crisp and bright, and their Khyal CdR blend which is a GSM (grenache, syrah, mourvedre) that would go with any food or be great on its own. Got to meet and talk with Chaz the owner, and he and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a limited food menu with a charcuterie board, mixed nuts, or popcorn. Plenty of space in the tasting room to enjoy your wines, and plenty of parking in the nearby covered garage.

An awesome place to taste delicious wine. After having a mixed flight I decided to enjoy a glass of the rose. In the Charu category a Rose of Grenache, 2024. Fruity and just the right sweetness for easy drinking. $24 a bottle. Purchased 2 bottles of the rose. From the tasting another favorite was the Rohan Blanc, a light and refreshing dangerously drinkable wine. Had to get a bottle to go. Excellent premium service here. Light snacks served too. The ambiance is clean, comfortable and relaxing. Definitely a sophisticated wine tasting experience worth trying. An indoor and outdoor space to sit. Plenty of parking for the shopping center. Enjoy your life. Drink good wine. SYOY!

Great space to go for wine tasting. If you like red wines this place is a great place. Staff is wonderful and inviting. Atmosphere is clean and comfortable. Conveniently located right in the heart of RTC.

Sama Cellars is located in the heart of Redmond Town Center, with the windows seats or the outside seating you can enjoy watching the rest of the center as you sip on some of the delicious wine served here. I had the mixed taster and was a big fan of the Rosé of Grenache and ended up getting a bottle of it. The environment inside is clean and the staff are very friendly + attentive. Elisa did a great job serving and this place is a good spot to have conversations and enjoy a slow time.

The space is huge, but the service was remarkably slow. There was no one at the front to greet us when we walked in, and the bakery counter was left unattended for a while, leaving customers waiting. While our specific server was kind, the overall vibe from the staff wasn't very welcoming. As for the food, my husband had the steak burrito. It was large and tasted okay, but it wasn't anything special--just an ordinary burrito you could get anywhere. I ordered the rockfish tacos, which were disappointing. The tortillas were too thick and crumbled so easily that I couldn't even pick them up to eat. Worse, the fish had a noticeable fishy smell, making me question its freshness, though the overall flavor profile was decent. Ironically, the best part of the meal was the creamy corn served on the side. The atmosphere is more of a spacious, warehouse style rather than cozy, though it is interesting to be able to see into the catering kitchen. It's sad to see a place that used to be so great lose its touch. I hope they can bring back the quality they used to have.

They do have a good wine list, but the pricing is HIGH. Think $25-$45 PER GLASS. Some of the wines this made sense for, but they really should consider adding a wine or two below $25 per glass. I have my WSET 2 and know a decent amount about wines so could understand why some of them were priced like this, but the whole menu being this high was strange. $32 for a glass of pinot noir didn't sit right with me. We asked to do flights so we could try a few things, but they said they were only doing glass pours. We asked for a rec for an acidic, fruity red and felt like the gal just told us the most expensive non-tannic red on the menu. Fine. For $32 a glass, I would not order what I got again. We headed to a restaurant after and got $14 glass pours that we preferred. This is a great place to go to impress someone with the chic vibes, but good wine can be found elsewhere at a fraction of the price. I do see the appeal though. It was also pretty loud when we went, so we chose to finish our conversation elsewhere.
