This is a super weird establishment. The bartender was rude from the moment we approached the bar and came across as completely unwelcoming. She acted like serving customers was an inconvenience. Had the corn beef cabbage this week. It was on the loud side with a game on the tv. Just my luck, the corn beef cabbage dish was average IMHO and on this day, the dish was over salted for my taste. Gotta love Trish!!! We came in for a round or two of drinks middle of the week and were a little split on what exactly we wanted. She offered some great choices for hoppy brews and made some killer whiskey and vodka based cocktails. We didn't really have any food food, but they do have some solid bar snacks. TK is a modern pub with a nostalgic feel that makes everyone feel welcomed. Great music... good tv and/or sports... seating at the bar is idle though they do have some tall booths and tables. Parking is what it is on weekends.... however abundant during the early half of the week. Cool thing about this Irish Pub is they stay open later on weekdays than most places do and carry a very nice variety of craft as well as imported on Tap/Draft. There seemed to be a lot of regulars, but we had no problem being welcomed to a table. People were having fun, the food was very good, and the prices were extremely reasonable. It's a nice lil pub. The deep fried green beans were excellent! Fried cheese balls good. Nacho were great and good portion. My Ruben wasn't that good. It had a weird sweetness to it I've never had on a Ruben before. The onion rings were great but at the check it cost 2$ more for them when on the menu it said fries, tots or onion rings. Soup/salad was to cost extra.... I have been before and if you want corned beef and cabbage go. The Shepard pie is also ok. Good place to check out and the bartender was great! read more

I've gone here more than a hand full of times and every time I grow a little more disappointed. First, parking is either on street or in a back alley double parked, so that's it's own situation. Once you come in, the bar top and table tops are sticky, like gross. I will say Jewel and Kat, bartenders, are super dope. Pour great stiff drinks, and they are super sweet ladies. There's another bartender named Aimee. I avoid her. At all costs. If she's there my boyfriend will order for me. Her attitude is horrifying. They took off the menu one of the few things I enjoyed. We've been twice. Food was very good and the prices were better than most places in town. Wedge Salad was excellent! A little loud, but it is a pub! I would have given it a 5 stars but the bartender was too busy visiting with other customers to wait on us both times we were in. We bellied up the bar the first time and next to the bar the second. The food was bad the service was worse. We ordered 2 beers and 2 shepherds pies, after we sat for about 10 minutes without the staff acknowledging we were there at all. Our order was taken like we were a bother and we were treated that way the rest of the meal. Our food tasted like someone put out of the box potatoes over canned sloppy Joe meat. I'm Irish, I know what shepherds pie is supposed to taste like and this WASN'T IT. We paid our tab and left without any staff ever asking about the meal, if we wanted a second round or even a thanks and come again. Beer was good staff was okay. The owner was racist. Me being the only black male in the bar when I came in there was a white older couple eating at the bar. Then I sit at the bar with my Mexican gf and the owner tells the staff to have us removed from the bar because we were "blocking" the staff. Then when I complained to the staff about the other white older couple that was right was right next to us the owner went to the white older couple and "explained" to them why they should move one table over. The staff was great and they apologized to me but the owner is an older white man who is definitely racist. He had no problem with them being there at the bar. It wasn't until me (a black man) went to the bar to order a drink with my Mexican gf then he had a problem. Only will rate a 1 out of 5 stars because of the staff. I'll start with the Good. Our server was very good she paid attention to us even though she was the only one there. She was managing the bar and serving the tables. Now the bad, I was very disappointed in the Shepard's Pie. It was dry and tasted like left over meatloaf covered with dry day old flavor less mashed potatoes. My wife's steak was served with the same day old dry flavor less mashed potatoes and the steak had no flavor. We would go back for drinks like I said the service was good but I would steer clear from eating there again. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is again for the service even though she was all by herself. Was finally able to swing in and grab a drink. Happened to be a Saturday night and was actually able to find a table to sit at. I don't drink beer to much, but the lady pouring drinks told me they had 3 ciders available. I told her to surprise me. My friend joining me for the night had something from the tap, a blue moon if I remember right. Crowd was a mix of old and young, which was nice. Was soccer and baseball on the TV. The Mariners were playing the Red Sox and there were a few Boston fans in the crowd this night and they sure wouldn't let you forget anytime something happened on the TV. Overall a fun place. Really need to get that second bathroom installed, the Honey Bucket outside just isn't fun, especially when you're a little tipsy. I'll totally come back to this place. The waitress was very friendly, food was pretty good, and the atmosphere was great. We had the Sheppard's pie, fish and chips and Gouda cheese bites. The Sheppard's pie was a little bit spicy; I kind of prefer a more traditional Sheppard's pie. I wasn't crazy about it. The fish and chips were on the greasy side. They were okay. The Gouda bites were pretty good. I did like those. I went here before and had the Irish Nachos and the Reuben Sliders. The Irish Nachos and sliders were way better than the fish and chips and Sheppard's pie. read more
