Rueben burger. Corned beef was extremely tough and lacked flavour. Burger was way over booked

Our server was pleasant and accommodating. One of my dining companions had shrimp scampi to say it was bad was putting it mildly. Swimming is wine sauce the mushrooms still raw. I had the Reuben burger. Corned beef dry and no flavour. Patty over cooked Salad was just fine. We do love live in the area so doubtful we'll be back. If we do we might consider with another dining option

    Soggy, oily fish :(

The place has a nice atmosphere, the staff is pretty good but the food was BAD... we went on Monday and got the 2 for 1 fish n chips and some chowder. The clam chowder had a small portion, was lukewarm at best, and had a burnt taste to it. The fish was soggy with oil, and had an unpleasant taste and texture with a fat strip of cartilage or something running through it. The waitress/bartender was nice enough to swap it out for a couple of corned beef sandwiches, but they were dry and stringy. Three people came out to just under $100 for some bad food. Just not very good at all. I just wouldn't recommend this place at all. I also had a Mack 'n Jacks beer and it just tasted... odd. I dont think they clean their keg taps very often...

Great place for most everything. It has four specific areas. Arcade which is kid friendly, Bar in the arcade which is parent friendly, restaurant area for everyone and a large bar area with a stage providing for live music, dancing & shenanigans. Overall, one of my favorit places. I, actually go for the music and dancing most Thursday's and Saturday's and some Fridays. If you see me say "hi"

Been a lot of staff changes and they don't have a door cover for bands anymore. It's gotten a lot better!

Wow! What a find! We LOVED the spacious seating, variety of arcade fun, separate bar area and grest service. We tried the fish and chips, pizza and burger. Highly recommend the burger! They have great daily deals too. Nick, our server was fantastic and on top of it. He was friendly and helpful with the gambling tabs we were curious about. We would come back in a heartbeat!

My husband and I were in the area looking at houses and needed something to eat, so we found this place b/c it was casual and close by. When you walk in, there are beer memorabilia and flags that decorate the walls. I assumed it was like a English Pub, but they also have some german foods, so I will call it a "European" pub. We came in on a Thursday afternoon, so it was fairly quiet, but there were a handful of couples there. The space is very large - there is the large main space with the stage and a bar, then there is another room with tables and another bar and THEN there is an arcade. From what I got from past reviews, Purdy's has only been in this space for at least a year. I thought the space was well kept and clean. It has the dive bar feel, but it is not divey. To drink I got the Lavender Martini, which was a pretty lavendar color and I could taste the lavender. To eat I got a bowl of clam chowder and my husband got a cesar salad and a Meatsy calzone. The clam chowder was good - it wasn't the best I have ever had, but it wasn't the worse. My husband loved the calzone - it had black olives, pepperoni and sausage and it was large (but he managed to eat it all...I did help a little!). Jenny was our waitress and she was so sweet and nice. She had a fun personality.

We used to visit Purdue when they were in the chalet on the 410 but since they moved (and Covid) we've been reluctant to be in what appeared to be an always crowded venue. We finally went today for lunch. The space is impressive and the decor is well done for such a large space. We also felt very welcomed by our server who was also the bartender. Nice easy going guy. It appears they have nightly specials and also a special drink menu, too, and there's a large arcade that I didn't go see. They also have tap tv trivia on the multiple screens throughout the space. I was disappointed in the food. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and it was served with just two tiny over breaded chicken fingers. I seriously doubt there was 2 ounces of chicken on that sandwich. Two Mickey D nuggets have double the meat that my $14 chicken sandwich had. Photos included for example. My friend ordered a wedge salad and added chicken. It was cubed but easily 4 times more chicken than my sandwich. I may be back but it will be for scotch eggs. At least then I know I'll get enough protein.

We stopped by on Sunday as their happy hour looks great and this is one of very few places that serve a Jucy Lucy. I got the beef onion bisque while my boyfriend got the Jucy Lucy. The soup was super salty, I could barely eat it as it just felt like I was slurping salt. There was also barely any meat in there and just lots of onion. The bruschetta that came with it was nice. The Jucy Lucy was the star though and it was delicious. The fries that came with it as well as their fry sauce was absolutely amazing. The service was okay. It seemed not too busy and it seemed like there was a table ahead of us in terms of receiving their food but it took some time. I did ask the waitress for some lemons for my water but she forgot and they checked on us twice. She did drop off a huge bottle of water when she noticed my boyfriend's glass was half empty. The decor here felt like a modern-rustic feel and they had some great music playing. The lighting is an intimate dim where you can see everyone and where you are going. The bathrooms here was clean and organized. I wouldn't mind coming back to try other items and drinks but was disappointed with my soup.

This is a typical dive bar with regulars at the bar looking hazily at their libations. Soft rock played in the background and lots of high tops beside the bar. I was asked to order and picked out deviled eggs and nachos! How could you go wrong even if they were so so? Well, the joke was on our friend because they were delicious! The deviled eggs had bacon crumpled on top with sliced green onions and were served on a bed of greens! The nachos were well covered and must have been prepared in layers. My daughter had just turned 21 and we wanted to take her out, so about 10 of us headed into Bumpy's. The second we walked in we were greeted with eyerolls and a very bi**hy attitude from the bartender. Before we could even order, she yells "We don't serve anyone with a vertical". Okay - well apparently you don't like tips then? In Washington you can't get your horizontal until AFTER you turn 21. So that means the day of your 21st - you're going to have a vertical and probably will have it for the next 3-6 weeks after. Initially they tried to tell us it's the law. WRONG. The only law is that the establishment has to check the birthdate and the photo. The staff at Bumpy's wanted no part of that - which, how lazy can you get?! Call me crazy but I don't think many kids with fakes are going to get a VERTICAL fake! Use your brains Bumpy's. If the liquor board is on your a$$ for serving minors - it's not because you're serving people with vertical IDs. It's because you aren't checking the birthdate and the photo on the HORIZONTAL ID to begin with - and you clearly don't own a scanner. Zero reason to greet customers so rudely. Just bad business all around. Too bad, too.. We're good tippers. That bartender could've made about $300 just off us.

That's what I picture when I hear speakeasy. A very intimate setting. However, this was completely opposite. It was bright, with a mishmash of decor. I wasn't sure if there was a theme. There were fake plants and a column/pillar with mirrors on it, an Amazon Forrest mural on the wall with televisions up on a couple. Felt like a sports bar. The tables and chairs were your average styled booths, that light-colored wood. It was sooooo cold inside. When we walked in, we were greeted by a nice young lady. She seemed to have a puzzled look on her face as to why we were there. My husband stated we had reservations. So now we were seated. Time to order. Looking over the menu, I see the pricing and was like "ok, a lil higher priced type of menu" I was down to give it a try. We ordered the calamari and zucchini chips for apps and then the butternut squash risotto with scallops (approx $30) for me and the brined chicken ($28) for my husband as well as a side of broccolini ($14). The apps came out first and I was honestly shocked. The calamari were so tiny and the zucchini looked like what they would serve in a bowling alley. Both dishes had the "mama lil's peppers" in it. I'm okay with the portion size but how are you charging $20 for calamari and $14 for the zucchini? Then we received our entrees. Again, we were looking for an elevated dining experience with the pricing of the food, to include presentation and all. I was disappointed to see the cheap cafeteria-like silverware and dish ware it was served on. Now understand the food was good. Not OMG WE ARE COMING BACK kinda good. But mid. Nothing wrong with that but the way they advertise is as if you are about to have a romantic, chill and classy dining experience. It's okay to be mid tier. I won't be mad about it. My dish was not butternut squash risotto, it was a mushroom risotto with 4 mid sized scallops. My husband's chicken was nicely seasoned and flavored and the mashed potatoes it came with, delish. He had caramelized carrots but some were straight black. Maybe a bit much heat. The broccolini was drowning in a cream sauce with onions and mama lil's peppers, slightly overcooked. Needless to say, it wasn't the dinner I was expecting, especially paying almost $200 for it. We did have a couple drinks and those were good. Customer service was on point. The staff were accommodating and helpful. I would kinda expect that since there were only us and another table in the dining room area. I had high hopes but sadly, not the vibe I was looking for. I've been to a fair share of a lil more upscale restaurants and this didn't hit that point for me personally. I think with lower prices and refraining from calling it a speakeasy, it could do well. Just my opinion. Oh they had a lil area for taking selfies available. Thank you for a nice date night with my hubby. We had a chance to have some one on one time together.
