Soft pretzel & mini nachos
Tara R.

Been here numerous times since my initial visit. The food has always been good. They have daily specials and a nice happy hour food menu. Spacious and filled with locals. The biggest issue is service. Servers are slow, inattentive and sometime visibly irritated with customers. If the food wasn't as good I would rate it 3-3.5.

Nachos

Service was amazing. The food was freshly made and delicious and came out in a very timely manner. The place is clean, festive and friendly. Definitely not your typical dive bar.

Great service! Our server did a great job! Loved the salmon club! The salmon was perfectly seasoned! For me the only downside was the bun. There was too much bread so I took the top off and ate it like that. The shoestring French fries were very good too!

We stopped by for happy hour on a Friday. Bar was fu but we were able to snag a table. We haven't been back since it was Lollies. Same layout but better decor for sure! They were also selling Girl Scout cookies. This girl was cleaning up! Great idea. We got Mac n cheese, sliders, and a giant pretzel. Mac n cheese was creamy and i loved that they used orecchiette pasta. It holds the sauce so well. Hubs got the sliders and he liked them. He said the wagu was nice. All around good slider. The giant pretzel with cheese sauce was chewy and warm and frankly it's carbs and cheese with salt. How can you go wrong?! I'm excited we live close because we can pop in anytime.

I've been coming here since it was LOLLI'S!!!! Okay. A real fed Way person right here! This bar has been a staple in the community so it's important that the people they hire are respectful to the customers that have been coming for well over 20 years. I've never had issues at this bar. I've seen so many people come and go from this bar. The food is always on point, the drinks are made great, pool tables, good amount of space. But this particular night was weird. The bartender almost completely ignored me but made sure to address my boyfriend. Even given him suggestions on what to order. When my bf ordered his food, I also order mine. But he only brought my bf's food. He never ever even put mine in. We waited and waited and when my bf was going to tell him about it, I said forget it, let's just pay and go. His food was good, our drinks were good, but that service was terrible. It would be 1 star for that. But because I've been here before and I know what this bar is all about. I'll give it 3. I'm sure I'll be there again soon and will update the review.

House Pepperoni Pizza

Been here a handful of times and every time, I've had the same friendly service from several different servers each time. Plenty of beer taps to choose from, pull tabs if you dare, two pool tables and two dart boards. If you want to catch a game, most likely it's in one of the many TV's placed around the restaurant. Very diverse crowd who seem to enjoy each other's company. Food is pretty damn good if I do say so myself. Ordered the pepperoni pizza and was glad I was going to have left overs. Larger than I expected.

I'm 99% sure it didn't have croutons buried in the middle, but she freaked out that her fork hit something crunchy and hard. Was most likely bacon but whatever. (The bacon was cooked too crispy perfection visually). She lost it. He didn't argue and had her another one made with the bacon on the side. Kuddos to him. While I fully sympathize with her concerns with gluten, she didn't fish out an actual crouton to show. The 3 cheese burger is absolutely a must! Personally I recommend salt and vinegar chips with it... Great mocktail options and they were happy to make anything off menu for me! Parking is tough but 100000% recommend checking this place out.

Nestled is an old neighborhood, surrounded by huge trees and beautiful flowers, has an ambiance that surpasses anything I have ever seen. It's a neighborhood bar, full service, with great beers on tap and great drinks. I spent two weeks in Tacoma with my sister, and we visited almost everyday. I met Jessie and Camille amongst sweet people. So very friendly. Their food options were special. I loved their simple hamburger and adored the dill pickle dip, I went home that night and found a similar recipe and made it for a party at my niece's. If you ever get up there, please find the time to stop by. I swear you won't regret it. This bar was established in 1935!!

More laid back,…read moremore easygoing, and actually set up in a way that lets you catch up with people without turning every sentence into a performance. There are nights for music and motion and pretending you are not tired by 9:30, and then there are nights where you want a drink, a seat, and a real conversation. This falls into the second category, and I mean that as a compliment. It felt like the kind of place where you can settle in and let the night unfold without much effort. No shouting "WHAT?" every six minutes, no feeling rushed, no need to recalibrate your ears when you walk back outside. my friend would call this a better decisions bar, which is funny mostly because she is usually the reason we test that theory. If the goal is drinks and conversation, this place worked really well. Go here when you want to actually talk to the people you came with.

The staff working was friendly and we chatted with them for a while. There wasn't many people in there.. I think they are trying to find their groove again after being closed due to Covid. The gal working informed us that you could bring food from Haggen and eat it in there. There were quite a few tvs with the Mariners game on and they had tons of space. They are currently only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 3-10. The pricing seemed to throw me and the hubby off.. two tap beers close to $20. Would def come back for a quick drink if my husband and I didn't have the kids. Def want to check out trivia night

Initially I was FaceTiming with my daughter in England and the server waited until I off the line to approach and take my order. The Apple Pecan Walnut Salad I ordered came quickly and was just outstanding. I grow most of the vegetables I eat, so I'm usually disappointed in salads I order out. Every ingredient in this salad was perfectly fresh and delicious; I'd say it was probably the best salad I've ever eaten in a restaurant. Back to my server (unfortunately I did not get her name), she discovered that the family who had been at the next table left a backpack behind; she immediately starting trying to find them and was very concerned. When I later checked and found that my gate had been changed to S5 (3 train rides away!), she hustled to get my check, a box (& Fork!) for my salad, and wished me well on my race to the other end of the airport. When I finally got home 7 hours later, I enjoyed the rest of that salad--it was still exceptional!

On our most recent visit we tried the nachos, and they were honestly the best nachos I've ever had. The cheese sauce is amazing- not some gross canned stuff. Dirty Oscar's Annex - Disappointing Experience on 6th Ave…read more We came in as a group of seven, and unfortunately the experience went downhill quickly. First, the service was poor and disorganized. One of my friends arrived early and ordered her drink, but it didn't arrive until after I had already received mine -- even after she asked twice. We also had to wait far too long for basic things like napkins and forks because we weren't given enough for everyone. The most frustrating part, however, was the automatic gratuity. At no point were we informed -- verbally or on the menu -- that parties of 6 or more are charged an automatic 20% gratuity. We only discovered it by carefully reviewing our checks. And to make matters worse, the so-called "20%" was not actually 20%. It came out to 24.1%. When we questioned it, the person who said she was the manager claimed "the computer does it automatically." We are a table full of teachers -- and the math was definitely not mathing. We understand and respect gratuity for large parties, especially when the service is great or when it's clearly communicated. But charging more than the stated percentage crosses from poor service into a billing integrity issue. To add to the frustration, there is also a credit card processing fee, which again was not clearly disclosed on the menu and only appeared at the bottom of the receipt. This absolutely should be visibly posted before ordering. They did offer to refund some of the charges, but we declined because it would have taken additional time and we had an event to get to -- and more importantly, it doesn't resolve the core issue of lack of transparency. She also gave each of us a $10 gift card, but again, that doesn't resolve the issue. And honestly, what good is a gift card if we don't plan on returning because of such an awful experience? Overall, this was a very disappointing visit, and not one we would recommend based on service and transparency alone.
