A lot of groups and families hang out here because it's a very welcoming space. Price is pretty good. $5-$6 for a 10 oz and $7-8 for a pint. They also have a flight that lets you try five beers. Parking is easy and free outside or across the street at the library or in the lot towards the center of downtown Enumclaw I had a good time here and am looking forward to returning to try more beers.

There was nothing wrong with it, but I wanted some darker, toastier notes and less chocolate, but the Mexican ale hit it. I don't know if it was brewed with corn, as many Mexican beers are but it tasted that way with smooth, sweetness that didn't bite. Unfortunately, I only got a shot with my stout.

As for the beer they have a cross section of typical brews from a Mexican lager, Kolsch, Red Ale and a few signature beers. We tasted 5 of the beers and all were solid and freshly brewed. There was a menu and spotted some fried rice with a fried egg on top that we had to order since my wife is from Japan. The food passed her test and beer and atmosphere was A++. There's a few breweries, wine bars and distilleries within walking distance so definitely try a few of them when visiting Enumclaw.

I tried to give him a card and he just said "just let me know how many you've had before you leave, I trust you!". You really feel like you're at some sort of family get together. Oh, and the views of Rainier from the patio are stellar! Unlike almost all other breweries in the PacNW, this one is not stocked chock full of insufferable, apathetic, hipster and post-hipster types. The crowd here is largely blue collar: truckers and farmers, Carhart and coveralls, construction workers and men-at-work signs. Which, again, is refreshing for a brewery. Beer is for everyone, not just beardos at coffeeshops with macbook pros that "work in tech". My only qualm is that I feel like the beer is just OK. It wasn't bad or anything, but it also didn't blow me away. Most of the beers were a little too much on the sweet and malty side (even the IPA) for what I usually like to drink. Lots of seating throughout the inside and on the patio area. They specialize in unfiltered brews, which I like, as it gives a full flavor to most beers you may not get, if they're over filtered, another one of those balancing acts that those workers of brewing magic deal with. I started off with a Amber lager, full tasting with the crispness of a lager, a flavorful change from the usual amber ales. The place had a cool old dudes vibes due to all the memorabilia and the old van in the shop, but definitely wasn't just an old dudes place, as a few of the younger crowd was enjoying a brew while working remote.
