Looks like I made a my last review of CRFT way back in 2017. So things have definitely changed and for the better. They recently upgraded their TV screens to reflect more sports oriented in there. There was a great selection of fresh hop brews in the cooler so their focus is seasonal as well. There was a lot of people coming in to just enjoy a beverage after work. The vibe was actually exciting. There is a number of food trucks in the parking lot next to it with a variety of things and they invite you to come and eat in there. All in all, it's nice to be back becoming quite the local gathering spot. read more

I can't believe I haven't written a review on this place previously. I find myself here at least once a month or so. 38 taps and two giant walls of bottles and cans of Beer, Cider, Seltzers, Mead, and a couple of non-alcoholic beverages. They have the best selection of drinks I've found in the PNW. I've tried so many interesting beers here that I haven't seen anywhere else. The people here are super nice, helpful, and know a lot about beer. It really is one of my favorite facets about a good beer joint. Every person I've interacted with when I've been here have just been super great. The taco truck across the parking lot is outstanding. We haven't been here since they first opened so we had no expectations. But they've really turned into a great little bottle shop/pub! Great food truck nearby and lots of other food choices within walking distance, as well. Impressive beer selection, which is GREAT to see locally (we don't always want to drive to Tacoma or Seattle). We went on music bingo night and had a total blast! The guy working the music definitely knows his retro music **for all genres** which was very impressive! I ended up dancing in my seat most of the time - which was so fun! Bathrooms were pretty so docked a star; when there's only ONE for that many people it gets crowded and DIRTY pretty easily. Craft brewing seemed to have exploded over the last 10ish years and it's still hot business with little signs of slowing down. CRFT is an excellent addition to the game! They don't brew, but they do connect you to local products. 99 Bottles went out many, many years ago and CRFT is here to fill in the gap for your one stop bottle stop. There are many, many taps here with rotating beers and ciders. Overall I find it to be a little pricey when it comes to pints, but it's a great place to try a bunch of different beers. Not to mention they frequently have beers on tap that I don't really like once they're bottled. Along with the taps full of fresh, cold beer, there are cases upon cases of bottled beer to take home for later. The location is fairly easy to get in and out of and the inside is clean with several places to sit. Service is mostly "neutral," which is okay in my book. They don't sell food here, but you're welcome to bring something in. Dogs also welcome. I'm unclear about children, though I've personally never seen one in CRFT. read more

I love this place. Great time for friends to hang out and try each others beers and ciders. They have so much verity from stouts, meads, seltzer, wine, imported, IPA, and so much more. It's very chill you pick your beer from the cooler go up, pay or leave it open and enjoy time with your friends. They are pet friendly and have multiple food trucks near by (across the parking lot) to choose from. You can bring your food in and eat while you drink and hang out. Week 37/52 in my endeavor to try one new (to me) local spot per week. Cutest spot in Auburn to grab a beer, I'm convinced!! If you're just looking to grab and go, they've got cold cases on cold cases on cold cases FULL of beers. So much variety to choose from, there has to be something for everyone - even if you didn't consider yourself a beer fan. However, we were there to have a couple beers onsite. Staff was super helpful and kind. Check in on your Yelp app for $1 off pints Mon- Thurs! However, they have daily deals running and I believe at the time they were running a 20% off offer, so we opted for that. I had a couple of juicy IPAs that were delicious. Everything on their draft menu was rather local, or super close to Washington. The beertenders were open to asking questions and helping us find a beer we liked, as well as letting us sample before getting a full pint which was nice. All in all, definitely plan on returning! read more

Stopped here for a dog friendly place to have a couple beers and didn't know what to expect. Was very pleasantly surprised. The music was great, service was fantastic and the short haired woman bartender was incredibly nice and offered our dog water. The other locals also seemed very nice. Only thing we didn't care for was advertising they had Pliny the Younger (about to be on tap) but when we got there ---- saying it was for 'private customers only.' I'm fairly new to the state of WA and now resident to Pierce County. I've been trying to find local craft beer establishments with a good variety of beers. I came across Crft Beers on yelp and I decided to check them out. I called beforehand to assure they were open for instore purchase and to my luck they were! Great selection of craft beer, but was disappointed to not find many California beers. Not sure why that is, I've had a hard time finding many CA beers in WA. In CA I would find a variety of different beers from different states. Perhaps it's because CA is a much bigger and populated state. Any who, I found a lot of great beers to take home and I will definitely be back frequently. I can't wait until this place opens for regular service!! read more

Great bottle shop located in Auburn! I picked up Yonder Cider here which I have an entirely separate review for from last week. But not only does Crft Beer have a wide selection of cans and bottles primarily of breweries from the Pacific Northwest but they have beer on tap as well! I got a tasty pilsner from Chuckanut Beer which was fun to do since phase 2 meant I could sit inside. I also noticed cans for Boneyard Beer from Bend so a certain little Yelp critic I had a few years ago claiming you can only get this beer in Oregon (even though he's in Arizona, lol) so that claim certainly wasn't valid. I was almost tempted to buy some in honor of that incident but I didn't. Perhaps another time. Anyway back on track... service was friendly and prompt at Crft Beer which is always a plus. There's a decent sized parking lot too which was nice to see. Some other bottle shops I like don't have that benefit. read more

This is the absolute best craft beer shop/bar I think I've ever been to. And I've been to lots of them, all over the country. Nothing comes close to the expansive selection that these guys have. They have like a million singles in the cold cases, but then their tap list of about 40 beers is incredible too. The guys who run this place and work here are also super knowledgable and very friendly. I am moving back to the east coast soon and honestly out of everything in the entire Seattle area, I will miss this place the most. If you love craft beer, this will be your happy place! read more

Plenty in the cases to choose if the taps don't suite you. You can enjoy on site or take it to go. They also have growlers if you want a little more. So lets start with the basics. This place has 40 taps and multiple drink size options, including crowler and growler fills. There are also approximately 25 cold cases of beer and cider to choose from and they do have bottle service with a small corking or capping fee. You can sit at the bar or the tables, and while I haven't done it, I believe they allow you to bring in outside food. They also do event nights, which I love. They had the Cascadia Pizza truck and did a special Star Wars event for May the fourth. The staff is super knowledgeable and makes excellent recommendations. Whether it be for something to drink in the store, or to take home for later, everything theyve suggested has been on point for me. And I love that if you follow them on Untapped, you get menu change updates, so I always know when something new gets tapped. For me, there is really no need to go anywhere else. read more

Worst bar experience I've had. I enter the bar, bartender is nowhere to be seen, or any employee. Finally a bartender comes from the back with a customer who can barely walk. (Your guess is as good as mine what the two were doing in the back) She pushes me out of the way at the register and demands more beer. The bartender refuses. I get my beer. On her way out she makes a big scene and throws my beer all over me. I'm comped probably 4 beers, I don't remember leaving the bar. I was drugged in that bar and I believe the girl that threw my beer at my was drugged and r****. It was a miracle I made it home with no recollection after my 2nd beer. I came to naked in the shower in my apartment and my best friend standing in the room. The first words I remember saying were "please help me, I don't know what's going on." In addition to everything that has taken place in this story the owner was there as well. But not until the 3 were done doing whatever it was that was going on in the back. You be the judge of what happened here. But I've tried my fair share of substances and I've never experienced anything like that night. read more
