Empty restaurant

4 of us Here at 430 on a random Thursday 6/26/25 Ordered dinner (2 sandwiches a side of fries and a salad)at 5pm got our meals at 6:28 one of our party ordered just fries he got his at 6:46. Nobody even asked if we were ok or sorry until we told our server Its been an hour and a half. Went to bar to order our drinks. Everyone around us was served sadly we are local and 6 months ago we came in and finally moved to the bar and were mostly ignored at the bar too. To bad we tried it again. We opened our first restaurant when I was 12 and I think feedback is important. We did win in pull tabs and the gal who helped with the pull tabs was friendly bonus we won. Only played to waist some time.

The food tho!!! Smoked meats spectacular!!! The food is fantabulous!!! Prices are fair, gluten free options and they are very willing to make things dairy free for allergies! Drinks are yummy and refreshing. But the food!!! New ownership and the smokehouse and a wonderfully talented cook have made this place a part of our regular eating out routine! It's clean and open and inviting. Service was great also.

brisket, Mac and cheese, fried mushrooms

I've driven by so many times and always wondered what went on in here - well now I know it's some delicious smoked meats, and bingo on mondays?? Amazing. Will definitely be back! Also i saw there is a big outdoor area in the back that looks so nice for warm weather months!! My pic doesn't do it justice, I was in a rush to start eating my Mac because it smelled incredible (and it was absolutely incredible).

I have been coming here for years it's a good place to ride to on the motorcycle and the outside seating is great when it's nice out. There are 4 big horseshoe pits outside, they have pool tables inside and there's a lot of space, staff are always friendly and the make good drinks. I am not sure when it happened but since I was there last year they got a smoker and shifted the menu. The food is definitely next level from before, I ordered the big pig burger and it was a lot to handle but it tasted awesome, burger was cooked perfectly and the pulled pork and bacon blended right in for a great taste balance. My only complaint was I couldn't unhinge my jaw to attack it.

Pulled pork nachos!

New ownership has really stepped up the menu, only the second place I've had brisket in WA that I would order again. Tried the nachos with pulled pork and they were great. Well layered so almost every chip had toppings. Said I like it spicy and they loaded up the jalapeño's and the chipotle purée. It's nice to see an old establishment class up its menu and service but keep its spirit and not be gentrified like every other watering hole that gets bought out.

Stopped for lunch on the way to Mt. Rainier. I got the brisket sandwich and BF got the smoked chicken sandwich. Soooo freggin delicious!!! Bonus for us was that we could bring our pup to the back and have lunch with us !

Bi-monthly lunch with old classmates took us to the Yella Beak in Enumclaw. Group of 8. I was the first one there and the server greeted me with a smile. Told her I had a group and she graciously set me up with a nice table, menus and an ice cold beer. Her service was spectacular and took care of all of us. Everyone's food looked awesome and the smoky BBQ aroma filled the place. I had previewed the menu online and decided I had to try the burger...I was not disappointed!!! Paired with huge crisp sweet onion rings, the enormous burger was picture perfect. Not a cheese guy but got grilled onions and bacon. OMG!!! That bacon was awesome and worked beautifully with the well cooked patty. The bun was perfect and displayed the whole experience like a fine piece of art. The others had pulled pork sandwiches, an awesome looking chicken Caesar salad, the tastiest looking nachos, huge steak fries. Nothing but high praise to the chef!

Amazing BBQ and customer service! Their chef Eric clearly knows how to make some mean BBQ she the fixings

Food was absolutely amazing and so was the service. Best BBQ and cornbread I have ever had. Kudos to the new owners and chef.

My husband and I finally came here, and they recently changed owners. The food has been awesome. In-house smoked brisket, chicken, ribs. Their potato salad is homemade as well. We come here mostly for the food.

The vibe is laid-back and welcoming. Every server we interacted with was smiling and genuinely friendly. It really added to the atmosphere. You can tell the staff enjoys working there, and that kind of energy is infectious. Now, the food: the burger was exactly what I crave when I think of a good, old-fashioned burger. Nothing over-complicated, just juicy, well-seasoned beef, melted cheese, and a toasted bun. It was cooked just right, with that perfect balance of savory and juicy. Simple, but executed beautifully. On the side? Two absolutely gigantic onion rings that were golden, crispy, and sweet. The batter had a light crunch without being greasy, and the onions inside were tender and flavorful. Basically onion ring perfection. The mozzarella sticks were another standout. Hot, gooey, and with a satisfying cheese pull that was honestly Instagram-worthy. Crispy on the outside, melty on the inside. Exactly how they should be. I wouldn't recommend the cocktails. They were trying too hard with a fancy mixology vibe that didn't quite land. But the beer? Cold, refreshing, and just right with the food and the atmosphere. Why go? If you're looking for a relaxed spot to hang out, enjoy a game, and eat some really solid comfort food, this place delivers. It's the kind of place you leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

There were approximately 15 people in the bar and two bartenders working (one male, one female). Despite the low volume, they had no control of the room and kept switching positions behind the bar while the situation steadily deteriorated. Multiple patrons were clearly and excessively over-served. One young woman was passed out unconscious in the bathroom. The man she was with asked the bartender to check on her, and the female bartender refused. Had other patrons not stepped in, that woman could have woken up alone, scared, and locked inside a closed bar. That is not just negligence--it is a serious safety violation. The male bartender was drinking alcohol while working and actively encouraging violence. He continued serving an obviously intoxicated man while instigating him, telling him he could beat up another customer. This happened openly, in front of the bar, with zero concern for consequences. Two patrons who were actually helping de-escalate situations and looking out for others' safety were 86'd and treated poorly, while the real problems were ignored. Meanwhile, the female bartender was encouraging her boyfriend to fight other patrons, and the male bartender joined in by antagonizing already drunk customers. One confrontation stemmed from a customer simply asking for a real glass instead of a plastic one. This is not a "rough night." This is gross incompetence and reckless behavior behind the bar. Over-serving, refusing to check on an unconscious patron, drinking on the job, and encouraging fights are exactly the kinds of violations the liquor board takes very seriously. If you are the owner, consider this a warning you should be grateful this came through as a review and not an official complaint. Because what happened Saturday night is absolutely the type of situation that gets reported, investigated, and documented. These bartenders should not be working unsupervised--if at all. They put patrons at risk and put your business directly in the crosshairs of regulators. The customers who were 86'd while trying to keep people safe should be allowed back. The staff responsible for this behavior should be removed before someone gets hurt and your liquor license becomes a discussion instead of a guarantee. This bar doesn't just need better service--it needs better judgment behind the bar. Immediately.

Fine, but took her Washington State ID down to another bartender to look at it for 5 minutes. I asked her what was taking so long and she pouted and said it was a non-standard ID. Huh? You're a barrender and never seen a non-druver WA ID before. We left to find a more friendly bar down the street.

Solid 3.5 overall…read more We like this place but I probably ordered the wrong thing on the menu - the vermicelli bowl with peanut sauce and the nuac Cham sauce. While the salmon BLT and grilled turkey sandwiches were fine, the bowl was not. The nuac Cham sauce had no fish sauce or taste and the peanut sauce did not taste like peanut sauce and was super thick. It was a bit weird with pickles at the bottom. Normally, the dish has jalapeño and the cucumbers are cut in strips v. Slices. The noodles seemed overcooked. The Portions are decent. We give the sandwiches 4 stars but the bowl is a 3 for taste. Everything else is good- service, average noise. Street parking but fairly easy to find a spot close by.

The poutine is what we started with, the fries were piping hot, the gravy was rich and delicious, and did I mention there was bacon jam in there? Since we had the poutine as an appetizer, we opted to get salads instead of the side fries for our burgers and sandwiches. I have to admit this is one of the most impressive side salads I've ever had. The greens were so fresh! On special they had their homemade clam chowder which checked all the boxes, it had a great balance of meat to potato to herb. I will be dreaming about this for the rest of my life. If you see it on special you need to get it. My group ordered the mushroom burger, the the bacon jamburger, and the French dip which we split three ways. And when I tell you we fought over keeping our own. I am not lying. The burgers were juicy, the toppings were generous and well balanced. The French dip had roast beef that just melted in your mouth. For the first time. I don't think I needed the au jus. One of my party ordered the truffle gnocchi with wild mushrooms. I don't know how, but it was somehow light, not too rich, and the gnocchi soft pillows had the perfect fluffy texture. We did have to take most of our food home because the portions were generous. And somehow the gnocchi reheated. Well. I'm going to call that a miracle. All in all, if you're anywhere near Enumclaw you need to go here. We made the trip from Puyallup because my dad could not stop raving about the poutine. Next time I'm in town. I will be back!
