Minus one star because the wait is so long during dinner and late dinner, and the waiting area is tiny so I had to stand in the rain outside. I won't melt but it's a little miserable. Out of the 3 times I've been here around dinner time and they are busy. I see that as a good sign! I love that it's made to order and sometimes so fresh from the kitchen, I burn my mouth trying to inhale my plate. I don't know about you, but It's the exact way I prefer my food! I'm definitely coming back! Great music. Word to the wise: make a reservation ahead of time.

Such a great AYCE sushi spot in the international district. Service was quick and we definitely ordered more than we could eat but felt like they had a great selection of different rolls and other dishes. The seating was nice, you weren't too close to other tables and the servers were mindful of my friend's allergy when we notified them of it. Value for cost was great, come hungry.

We got here around 3:45pm and still qualified for lunch pricing! ($25.95) you order on a tablet and are able to order 15 items every 15mins. They also charge $14.99/lb for leftovers. Sushi was delicious & came in full sizes. The rolls didn't have too much rice and came with plenty of proteins & veggies. My favorite was the seared salmon, I wish I made more room in my tummy for those. Service was great and the decor is nice.

Fish was good. Especially the salmon belly. I also liked the avocado salad and seared salmon. My only real drawback was the rice portions were huge! I mean it was a crazy amount of rice. I came here for lunch I'm sure dinner has more options but be wary of the golfball sized rice balls with the nigiri lol

Our daughter went here for the first time last night. I stopped by with her dad to drop something off, and she mentioned that if we were in the mood for sushi, this place was open -- so we decided to try it. Right away, I loved the vibe. The restaurant feels like you're in Asia, which I really enjoyed. We were lucky and got seated immediately -- it was the last open booth. The waiter brought water right away and explained the menu options (all-you-can-eat or à la carte). We chose à la carte. Once we ordered, the food took a bit of time to come out, and appetizers arrived as they were ready rather than all at once. So if you know what you want, I recommend ordering everything at the beginning. That said -- the food was amazing. The fish was very fresh and full of flavor. I'm gluten-free and didn't use any sauce at all, and everything still tasted incredible. The staff was friendly, attentive, and on top of their service, which really says a lot. They've been open for about a year now, and it's refreshing to see that both the food quality and service are still excellent. I've seen many small businesses start strong and then decline after the first year -- that's not the case here. And it's very reasonably priced. Between my husband and me, we ordered three rolls, a few nigiri and sashimi, soup, edamame, and two teas. With tip, it came to about $100. We'll definitely be back.

I have been trying to find some good baked sushi for months now. I drove from Renton on my lunch to get my to go order. I modified the firecracker roll to have a California roll base and asked for no salmon on the dynamite roll. I was nervous because this was my first time and I was expecting them not to modify my rolls. However, they did allow my modifications and everything was delicious. I definitely over ordered, their rolls are very large and filling. I will definitely be back and will bring my friends and family. My two rolls were about $30. They are an AYCE place, inside is small so I can imagine they get quite busy. I'm so glad I tried this place out. Parking is on the street or pay lots only and located in the middle of the international district.

Nut allergy friendly: Had no issues here and didn't have to flag anything. For a city with so much access to seafood, I'm shocked there aren't more AYCE sushi places. I guess Seattle thrives on higher end sushi experiences. I made the 40 minute trek from Capitol Hill (would suggest not walking and taking the light rail to the international district; I walked through some very questionable areas) to meet up with a friend at one of the only AYCE sushi places we could find. Seated easily around 2:40PM. The restaurant was at varying capacity while I was there, with some larger groups, a few solo people, etc. There's plenty of seating (more space in the back). The lunch special price does not include sashimi, so I did not have any sashimi. There was a persistent strange smell in the air.. almost musky or humid? Food came out relatively quickly, within 10 minutes of ordering on the iPad. - The Garlic edamame was fine - extremely garlic-sauce heavy. - Miso soup was also fine, relatively light. - We ordered several rolls (Rainbow, something else) and I found them INCREDIBLY rice-heavy. They're clearly trying to fill you up with rice here. - Nigiri tasted fine; also relatively dense on rice and the fish was okay. Maki, similar. - We got the Torched Tuna, which was even more dense rice but I think I preferred the texture a bit relative to the sushi. More like a crispy / chewy rice. - They did have a matcha ice cream that was not on the kiosk (normally dessert)? but were kind enough to give us a scoop. Overall, it scratches an itch but barely so. Wouldn't really recommend unless you're ready with an appetite, or upgrade to the sashimi. Even then, the fish quality is passable, nothing crazy being done here. The "torched" rolls were something unique but quite heavy on the rice overall. Honestly a little surprised that there are far better AYCE sushi options in the South than in Seattle.

Good sashimi and rolls, but a more difficult ordering method and some mediocre items. I thought most of the items here were quite good - the sashimi was all good, especially the escolar and salmon. The rolls were also good - they are all 8 pieces though so be careful how many you order. The eel in the hand roll was also great, and the tempura was fresh and hot. I didn't particularly like the "torch" items, which had a lot of rice and sugar on top - the sugar was a bit weird imo and the fish to rice ratio wasn't worth it. The hand roll also had more rice than I would like. The ordering system is odd - only 15 items per order, and 15 mins between each order. And orders take more than 15 minutes to fill. This meant that we felt like we had to fill the 15 each order and we over ordered since we didn't know portion sizes. Overall though, it was great - the important stuff (fish and rolls) were good, the fried sides were good, there were plenty of options, and we left having eaten our fill. I would definitely go back!

Big sushi portions. Fresh, made to order food. Recommend the fried rice. Sushi was good. Clean space. Fast service. Not rude but unfriendly staff. Highly recommend.

Every all-you-can-eat-sushi spot always seems too good to be true because why would something expensive like fish at endless amounts be sold at an affordable price? Yeah, it's never as good as it seems, and this is very much the case for Sushi%AYCE. We decided to check out Sushi%AYCE for dinner, which was an A-OK experience. We went around 4pm, so were able to be seated immediately. However, by the time we left, there was a line of people, waiting to get a table. I truly don't see why though after eating here. The menu does offer different sushi items, with some small plates. You have two hours to dine in, and they actually time you as soon as you sit down. You're given a tablet to place orders. You can place up to 15 items, but must wait 15 minutes to place the next order. When you try to order before 15 minutes, they will warn you that you have a certain amount of time until you can place your next order. We ordered mostly sashimi and nigiri, which did come out in a short time for our first and second rounds. However, everything started to slow down quickly. We would place an order for food and wouldn't get it for so long that it would be time for us to place another order. The issue is that we didn't want to order too much until our order before came and we'll be charged for any leftover food. We would wait up to 20-30 minutes for food to arrive. By the time our two-hour limit was up, they would hand us plates that were ordered half an hour ago. We told the staff this, so they were able to waive this for us. But the timing of all of this is ridiculous. And it's not like it's worth the wait. The cuts of the sashimi are smaller than what you'd expect. They were half the size of sashimi you'd order anywhere else, so of course you'll have to keep ordering more if you even get it on time. All you can eat actually means all you can wait here. I wouldn't recommend.

Sushi%Ayce is a solid All you can eat Sushi spot in the International district in Seattle. It's well priced considering the offerings. It's not a gourmet, omakase, type place, but it has a large selection of rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and appetizers. Everything tasted great and was fresh. The service was nice and we got our food quickly! Atmosphere was good! Nice seating selection. We'd happily return when we have a craving!

The sushi was really good! This is a fun spot. They have a clear system for 2 hours of ordering, you can only order every 15 minutes (though they don't see too strict on that), and you can't have any leftovers or you'll be charged. The servers are very efficient in bringing things over. The bathroom is clean. Overall I'd definitely go back and come here

Second, the amount of time I spend in your restaurant heavily depends on the speed of your service (spoiler alert: it was not fast). Definitely brought the mood down further. Food was a hit or a miss, no in between. Hit: Garlic short ribs (my partner said these were tender and a good portion for happy hour), Poke sushi roll (good fish quality and taste) Misses: First Ave Roll (sauce was just walloped on top, weak flavors), veggie and shrimp tempura (heavy and soggy batter), pink lychee cooler (artificially sweet with no strong lychee flavor), green tea tiramisu (photo speaks for itself). For all the rave reviews, I was pretty let down. Thankfully, we went during happy hour so we didn't pay full price. I would not visit here again.

Ambiance was nothing spectacular nor would set it apart from other sushi restaurants. It looked and felt like most sushi restaurants that offer omakase in the area. The service is where our dining experience, surprisingly, fell the most flat. Our waitress was a timid young woman who seemed very overwhelmed, speaking very quietly and quickly which caused us to ask her to repeat herself a few times. She had a script and if she stuck to the script she was fine but if we asked any question she wasn't prepared for, like asking about sake, she locked up. She also didn't appear to be receiving much support either. Questions regarding the sake were funneled through her to someone else who would relay the questions through her. The back and forth was enough I questioned why this person didn't come with our waitress to assist her. The explanations on the omakase dishes were given quietly or not given at all. It was just a bit atypical for omakase style restaurants in the area.
