Very fun fusion spot with excellent banh mi and juicy fried chicken! Service was pretty quick and friendly and the ambiance is pretty casual as well. Crispy pork banh mi is such a genius idea

The tteokbokki was very reasonably priced, with a soft, chewy, and bouncy texture. It included rice cakes, fish cake, and an egg. Flavor wise, it leaned more toward the sweeter side and was not very spicy. We ordered the full-size fried chicken, which allows you to choose two flavors. You can add a third flavor for $1, while the half order comes with only one flavor. We chose Golden Honey, a savory sweet sauce, and the Kalbi sauce, which has a Korean BBQ profile with a sweet soy flavor. For my taste, both sauces were slightly on the salty side. The server was very friendly and checked in on us regularly. They also let us know that we could ask for more pickled radish at any time, which was a nice touch. Also not going to lie, I don't know how it feel for a restaurant specializing in Korean Fried Chicken and is also selling Vietnamese Banh Mi. It made me question the quality of the fried chicken.

Kkokio was banging. The wings were hitting, fried rice was nice and filling, and the spring rolls had a lot of shrimp in them which I appreciated because spots love to be stingy with that. Everything came together well, solid fusion execution without feeling gimmicky. Good portions, good flavor, good spot. This one is worth the trip.

I thought our chicken wings were excellent! Hot, crunchy and flavorful wings. We had the K2 sauce and it was tasty! We also enjoyed their chicken & veggie fried egg rolls. The kimchee fried rice was ok, would skip next time. Lots of parking out front. A few picnic tables out front if you prefer eating outside. Clean bathroom ad friendly staff.

I enjoy Kkokio but I also love other immigrant communities in this diverse area. I got some troubling news that ownership have been not welcoming to other BIPOC immigrant communities. I'm disappointed that immigrant communities don't support each other. I will no longer support this business. We lost a great business in this area.

Nice hidden gem off Ranier Ave. Crispy delicious fried chicken with a plethora of sauce options. The chicken fried rice had a healthy amount of chopped up fried chicken for under $10! In 2025! In Seattle! Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced. Very friendly service. Server took the time to explain all the options. Cheerful environment.

Cute little spot to grab a quick drink or bite at. Staff are nice and space is always clean. There isn't a lot of parking out front, since it's a small lot that is dedicated to all the multi-tenant, so you would have to do street parking in the back. They sell mainly asian based food, such as banhmi, fried chicken cutlets, milk teas, and many more. They even sell macarons from Macadon's!

This is a solid Korean fried chicken spot I'd return to. We got the full order (20 wings) with three flavors ($1 extra for the third). The spicy house sauce had a kick but wasn't overwhelming. The snow powder was richer than the ranch-style version some places do and was my friend's favorite of the three. The mild kalbi was a nice balance of sweet and salty. The order came with a small container of pickled turnip. Service was friendly and quick, and the ambiance was casual and clean.

Great chicken & bahn mi place, consistent and fresh! They've added a lot more options and have good appetizers that work for a quick lower cost lunch.

the crispy fried chicken and sauce were absolutely amazing. I also love a good fried chicken with not too much breading! they also have other asian food like banh mi, spring rolls, rice bowls, and etc. the price is super fair, and the staff are very welcoming and friendly!

Came here to try their fried chicken and it was so good! I tried their K2 yum yum sauce and it was perfectly sweet with the chicken. The service was great and answered all my questions since it was my first time. The chicken wings were moist, crunchy, with all the flavor hanging onto the crevices of the wing batter. It came with a side of daikon. It's not as sweet as other places I tried and it was a good palette cleanser with the chicken. I'll definitely be back to try the other flavors.

Got half order of chicken wings to go with YumYum sauce (mild) on the side for dipping. I didn't taste much spicy flavor with the mild, probably would get at least medium next time. Overall, the fried chicken satisfied my cravings, but I wished it would be jucier on the inside. The restaurant is clean. Ordering is fast and easy.

Came in for fried chicken and surprise - had an excellent grilled chicken bahn mi! Loved the sauce, how filled it was, and the quality of ingredients. It was great! The chicken was good. Got the boneless snack. Five pieces, about the size of a wing. If you love fried chicken skin, this is your spot. There was as much chicken fried skin as there was meat. In talking with them, I now understand this is known as chicken chips, and some people crave it. We tried 2 sauces, both delicious. The honey and spicy yum yum. Also tried the curly fries. Well cooked and a big portion. Very nice and helpful people working there.

I went on a weekday evening and was able to walk in without a reservation and the host sat my party immediately. The space has an industrial vibe, minimal decorations and an open kitchen in the dining area with another kitchen hidden in the back. We started off with a gochujang margarita which had a little spice but the flavor of the gochujang got lost and I couldn't really distinguish it. The NY Tiki Time cocktail was a stunner, the flavors of the citrus, pandan and rum blended smoothly together. I had to take a photo when the drinks arrived. For the apps we ordered the yellowtail and octopus. The presentation really was remarkable and well plated. The yellowtail was in between layer of thinly cut turnip that had a lemon verbena component to it. It was shaped into a flower and placed on a plate in naengmyeon broth. The octopus was tender and in a delicious cream sauce with some roe as decoration. For the mains we got the squid fried rice with kimchi, bacon, smoked quail egg. We also ordered the branzino gui with seasonal vegetables. Both were well seasoned and tasty but I think I enjoyed our drinks and appetizers the most. The staff were slow and intentional with their service and no one seemed in a frantic hurry. The tone of the place was calm and none of our servers gave off an overly pretentious attitude (my biggest gripe with fine dining). Will most definitely come back as soon as possible and can't recommend enough.

The yellowtail dish was lemony and the thiny sliced turnip was an art itself . My friend really liked the squid ink fried rice. The rice was made very well but personally I always find squid ink rice to be bland and a bit uninteresting, so the kimchi in the fried rice added some contrast. The restaurant was pretty empty on a weekend night. Service was ok. I love the glass and high ceiling.

I was honestly surprised because I remember waiting for a couple hours at the SF location a few years ago. Between the nine of us, we ordered a few kalbijjims and naengmyeons to share. DAEHO KALBIJJIM - 88.95 + mild +5.95 for mozzarella cheese Lots and lots of cheese, so if you're not a cheese person, I'd definitely skip the add-on. The portion was generous, but there wasn't as much kalbi as I expected. Instead, it was loaded with onions, carrots, and only about four rice cakes. That said, the kalbijjim itself was incredibly saucy and flavorful. Every bite became more addictive than the last, and I couldn't stop going back for more. MOOL NAENG MYUN - 21.95 A bit pricy for what it is, but we split it between four people as a refreshing side. It was gone within a few bites. The broth was tangy, icy cold, and refreshing, which contrasted perfectly to the rich kalbijjim. You really can't go wrong with this combination. Overall, delicious and satisfying food, but pretty expensive. It's one of the better kalbijjims I've had!

Parking: Around the restaurant has ample spots, however when my party visited, all 3 cars could not find a spots as all of them were taken. When I arrived, there were already a few cars just circling to try to get a spot if any patrons were leaving. Most other reviews didn't have issues with parking as I assumed they arrived earlier? Customer service: + friendly service and decent once you were able to flag them down - you have to almost flag them down for all/any services such as refilling water, checks, to-go boxes etc Food: 1) Spicy Squid Noodle * cold noodle dish with squid, white noodles and vegetables mixed with gochujang based sauce. Not particularly spicy or not. - imo the amount of squid for a near $20 noodle should have a little more.. 2) Daeho kabijjim + mild was good for the party as it's slightly sweet and not spicy with gochujang based sauce. Short rib was nice and tender with potatoes, onions and carrots. We chose to add noodles and cheese which they torch at the table to melt it on top. 3) Combination Suyuk + great umami and saltiness to the soup, very creamy and rich. + combination of tendon, brisket, short rib and (forget the 4th) as well as mushroom and spring onion makes it rich creamy and umami. Banchan was great, kimchi and radish are very likely homemade along with the other 3 banchans. But imo, their radish is old (overly fermented) while kimchi has a nice balance of spiciness, sweetness and tartness at first but a little sweet aftertaste. Lastly, if I'm not mistaken, I did not see any sign or note in the premise or on the menu indicating mandatory 20% tips for big party (even though I'm well aware it's normal but I believe businesses should be transparent). However when we were paying the bill, the server clearly indicated they included the 20% tips to our bill so that patrons do not "double tip" unless they wish to. So bottom line is they are quite honest on that but wished they are more transparent

I think that is the point of this dish, so if you want a more traditional spicy flavor then get the other ttoekbokki option (spicy rice cakes). We still loved this one and the rice cakes were so chewy and delicious. The cheese corn was very yummy and exactly what you would expect. It pairs perfectly with the other dishes. My friends also shared the Seafood ramen and Beef bulgogi. They liked both dishes. One of our favorite things were the side dishes actually! I've tried galbitang at other places, but there was an umami that many didn't have. All the banchan were flavorful too, I thought the kimchi had a good balance as sometimes it can be a bit on the saltier side. Service was great too, the sever was friendly and checked often.
