Great tasting Viet restaurant with lots of variety! They have a lot of traditional Viet dishes besides pho like banh xeo and bun rieu that I'm not usually able to find. Everything was flavorful and price was pretty affordable (most dishes between $10-20)

Ordered take out this time and it was great! I called to place the order and they answered very nicely. I ordered the small steak and meatball pho and was told it'd be ready in 10 minutes. I drove to the restaurant and it was packed. Super busy but was greeted in less than a minute. My food was ready as expected and the staff member who checked me out was very friendly. The pho itself - exceptional. They provided a lime, silverware, hoisin sauce. Everything I needed. The steak and meatballs were flavorful and the broth was one of the best pho broths I've ever had! Coming back for sure.

Never visited her when it was the previous business but my dad and zi stopped by this past Saturday for a lunch. The staff is so friendly. I had the Cơm Dặc Biệt Saigon and my dad had pho. Generous portions I saved half of mine for dinner later. The pho broth look very flavorful and my dad enjoyed it. The space is bright and clean tables well spaced. Received complimentary cream puffs. Nice yo have a new place in my dad's neighborhood to go to.

My sister took me here for dinner because we wanted to try it. We haven't been back to this place since it was the original Thanh Thao. This place is owned by the same owner as Tony's bakery. You know the food will be good and flavorful. We ordered the Com Saigon and the Banh Canh. The broth to the Banh Canh was really flavorful and they didn't skimp on the fillings. The rice dish had a variety of stuff like short ribs, porkchops, eggs, meatloaf, bi and veggies. The meats were really flavorful, and the fish sauce was superb. It reminded me of Vietnam where it's thick and not watery. Remember the good old days when you would go eat pho and they would give you a complimentary cream puffs? Well those days are long gone! But guess what?! This place is providing those savory cream puffs! It was quite a pleasant surprise and brings back a lot of memories! I can't wait to go back. Service was awesome, staff and owner was super nice. The place cleaned up well and very well lit! Go ahead and give this place a try! I can't wait to go back to try other stuff on their menu. Did I also mention that it's also reasonably priced? What are you waiting for? Go already...

Oxtail pho was good and the broth is aromatic and can really taste the pho spices, well balanced between savory and sweet. Short ribs for the rice plate were tender and meaty, not too much fat. Egg rolls were pretty solid. Nuoc Cham was good. Clean restaurant and friendly staff. Chill vibes with elevator type music in the background Came during plate of nations event for limited time deals until April 6 2025

Newer Vietnamese restaurant so ambiance is new and clean. My com ga hai nam portion could've used a bit more chicken but make sense with the super reasonable pricing. Service was good and quick too, would return! Check out and support this small business :)

The restaurant is very clean and bright. Great services. We ordered the Saigon Rice dishes special and the Bun Mam. The food came very fast and fresh. Very delicious! We also got complimentary cream puffs.

5. Rare Beef Pho

suggest going in person at night (at least that's what i did) this is the best pho i've ever had & the fresher the better, table side they have the usual sauces & oils. i got the small and i couldn't finish it, my roomate who eats quite a bit finished the noodles but didn't finish the broth and took it home. other than the pho, the avocado smoothie, the mango smoothie & the sugar cane drink? 10/10 staff is friendly and lets you take your time (no interruptions during eating). i went at night so the ambiance was very calm and quiet, i would definitely eat here again! i also love their story (found on the physical menu) please support this small business. they deserve it.

This has become one of our favorite take out spots! The vermicelli bowls are so flavorful and large portions. Very good value for the money!

They use weird cuts of meat and fake crab in noodle soup. Not authentic food. I'd not come back.

I even realized I could order before hand so we were able to pick up our order as soon as we got there. This location is on the fourth floor of an otherwise pretty dead mall. It's located next to Din Tai Fung and has seating but there was barely anyone there. They did a great job bagging everything to go including a well wrapped sourdough bread bowl. The clam chowder is definitely some of the best. The bread bowl is okay. I didn't really care for the market chowder which was a smoked salmon chowder. The chowders come with a piece of bread and a bag of oyster crackers.

This is a sit-in area that's perfect if the weather's too hot or too cold to go the other location at Pike Place itself, since there's many tables just outside the area this restaurant takes up. As stated in their name, they serve chowder of all kinds. I've had their New England and Manhattan clam chowder, and during a Yelp event my bestie and I bought their smoked salmon chowder after having it as a sample. This comes with bits of potatoes and capers in addition to the smoked salmon itself, though I saved the bread that came with the dish for my bestie. I was happy with the capers since they usually come with smoked salmon if you put them on bagels, so this was a nice addition. There's the regular fishy taste of the salmon but doesn't have that really heavy seafood-y aftertaste.

However I decided to check it out since it's a lot closer to where I live and was craving some sushi. Their selection isn't as big as FOB's but it's still very generous. They have inari, rolls, and nigiri - they do limit the number of "expensive" nigiri you can get though which does kind of suck. I tried a few rolls and a few nigiri. They all tasted really fresh, and I like how they aren't as enormous and one-note tasting as FOB's. Everything tasted unique! This should do the job to satisfy the sushi cravings :)

This is a sushi by the pound place in SLU, but they also have a menu with variety of things such as udon, inari, chirashi, etc. The selection of fish you can choose from in the weigh your sushi section is not that big. They only have 2 high premium fishes available: otoro and amberjack. However you can only get 1 of each, which to me defeats the purpose. I also got a bulgogi inari and it was $5 / piece which is pricey. Another thing is that they use a lot of rice, too much rice. Service is ok, they ring you up and bring the food to you if you ordered through the menu. It's a very relaxing and chill area as well. The food we got was just ok but for the price, it's not worth it. I'm glad I tried but most likely will not be back.

One kind lady at the booth suggested to go here. It is a cute little shop, with no view or anything fancy. But you will eat the best chowders that you've had in your entire life. We waited in the line and took us about 15 minutes, not bad . We got lucky and found 3 bar stools to sit on and got their samplers . 4 different chowders of our choice . Omg ... we got : New England clam chowder, the crab and oyster chowder, the scallop chowder (with dill and lime ) this was my top favorite :) and of course the smoked salmon chowder (this was a little bit too salty in my opinion but well , it is smoked salmon so beware if you don't like salty) Staff were super friendly. 4 cups of small chowder was so filling and I was not hungry the whole day. I wish I had space to try their lobster roll, hopefully next time :)

They didn't have much overhead to cover from the rain, so definitely bring a raincoat! If you're a first timer like us, I recommend trying multiple flavors by ordering the sampler. It costs more, but at least you know exactly what to get next time. We got the New England, Market Choice, etc. But those two definitely were the standouts. They were really flavorful, and the place didn't skimp out on the chunks. Nor was there any fishiness at all. They for sure showed why they won awards. Another thing to note as well, they're really strict about the seating. Since the place is small, tables and seats were limited. They're on it, and won't allow you to take a seat unless you order first. Honestly, to save you the stress and time, just order online and go to the many other open seating areas at Pikes.
