I was in the area, and a Seattle media outlet raved about them. They have their own parking lot and parking in the neighborhood is plentiful. They are on transit. They do takeaway. Almost all of the seating is long, about 16 persons. I have had fine roasted duck soup at a very reasonable price in other reviews. Ducks are small, so a lot of bones. Duck is not cheap. This spot duck was mostly bone and gristle. There is Chinese cultural value in eating meat with bones, but I don't like bones. The skin is an essential in roast duck, but it had been soaked in broth and lost its flavor. I have had noodles at many places. This was wafer wheat noodles. You can look up their menu, it is not expensive, but it is not notably cheap. The Yelp menu photos were nothing like the current, a vinyl shield over paper book of several pages, so are outdated. Inside it was clean, dark, and the staff were fine. But it is a decaying chaos of piles and abandoned decoration inside and tagged outside. I strongly refrain from negative reviews of small businesses. When a major media outlet hypes a dive business, and when their readers are anti-customer reviews, I need to review when I visit. I have sympathy for the family, but I fear the business is not sustainable. Go there and support them! Tung Kee Mì Gia is a dive Vietnamese restaurant with Chinese influence, ample parking, and take out - in person, or order ahead, in White Center. First off, I ordered online and ran into a delay as I forgot my wallet (paid online however kinda need my driver's license to drive) so I had to turn back around to grab that. Upon entry, you'll be thrown off by the decorum. You'll notice immediately that the store owner has no interest in modernizing the look of the interior. You'll find mismatched chairs and tables along with an AC unit on one of the dining tables with vent tubes that are held together with duct tape. You'll also notice three large fish tanks with some exotic fishes; here you'll find the owner cares a lot about sea life. I had order a number 9: combination egg noodle wonton and right away i'm impressed with the portion size. Unlike most noodle restaurants, this place is generous in both the noodles and meats; the wontons are massive and the jumbo shrimps are deveined. So get ready, when you ask for a large size order that's certainly what you'll get. I highly recommend including their spicy chili oil and pickled jalapeños; these condiments paired well with my order. This has to be absolutely positively the best PHO that I've ever eaten. The bowls are huge. The service is incredibly good. As far as the ambience I would say it's mediocre.. this is white center so consider where you're at before you make any judgments. But when you go in there, you'll see every table is filled at lunch. This is the place where I always come to eat pho. The outer wall is yellow and there is a parking lot around the restaurant. Easy to find it and park. The inside of the restaurant is no fancy and there are many pictures of food on the menu on the wall. It's cold to sit near the entrance, so it may be better to sit in the back. But since the toilet is in the back, it can be uncomfortable to sit near it. You can eat various noodles besides pho and delicious. I love the pho soup here and plenty of soup. The first thing I ever got here was the beef fried rice. Tasted good. The next time I came again I ordered the beef fried rice. I liked their beef fried rice. The third time here, my sister ordered the beef fried rice because she and everyone else kept eating mine last time. The fried noodle dishes are very similar in flavor, from pad thai to chow fun. I've been looking for Vietnamese-style Chinese food ever since Saigon Dynasty closed probably over 20 years ago. My search brought me here and though it did not live up to dream of Saigon Dynasty, it did give a hint and reminders of that wonderful restaurant. On the other hand, Tung Kee Mi Gia did offer some great food and may be added to the regular rotation. Loved their combination crispy chow fun - full of vegetables and meat and the way the fried noodle cake soaks up the sauce is soo good. Also enjoyed the wide rice noodle wonton soup. Tons of bean sprouts, fried garlic, and delicious little fried pork pieces that tasted like chicharones in a clear, refreshing broth. But the real standout and surprise was the pork fried rice. It was soo good - great wok hei and even with everything we ordered, I couldn't stop eating it. We also ordered the Mongolian beef which hinted at the elusive flavor of Saigon Dynasty, but didn't quite hit the mark of the gloopy sauce and thick cuts that only 90's Chinese restaurants could deliver. All in all a great experience and I would go back just for the fried rice or crispy chow fun. With that being said, I am a fan of egg noodle soups, and this place does not disappoint, with a medium feeling like a large and a large feeling like a never ending bowl of noodles and soup. As per your typical Vietnamese joint, it can be somewhat dirty, but it adds to the affect of it all. My partner and I came here when I wasn't feeling well and needed a big bowl of soup to get me right, and it sure did. Pho nominal lunch this afternoon. Arrived in Seattle a couple days ago, today is the first daylight venture north from the southern suburban Federal Way. My essential place of origin, without digging into specifics. Needing a light late lunch I didn't bother scouring the menu, since item #1 was a combination soup, roasted pork, chicken, shrimp and amazing wide rice noodles, plus aromatics. Steaming hot broth alone was worth the price of admission. Adding the bountiful delicious bbq pork and shrimp n noodles. Heavenly. My younger sisters human friendly black kitten mooched most of the dark meat chicken, sealing a lifelong friendship. This little kitty has two little chin whiskers bringing to mind fu Manchu. So adorable. I love kitties. Very friendly man and woman, owners, were present and took my order. The shrimp was vibrant and fresh, smelling of the ocean while not fishy. The Char Sui roast pork was tender and flavorful, Chinese style in my limited vocabulary. Excellent. I think a bit of dried shrimp was overlooked beneath the scallions and cilantro. Tung Kee Mì Gia is a neat little spot in White Center. They mostly serve Chinese and Vietnamese food and the prices are affordable. The restaurant is really easy to get to and they have a huge parking lot. The outside of the building is bright yellow and green, so you can't miss it. On the inside, they have huge pictures of some of the menu items. It looks kind of cheesy, but hey, sometimes they are really helpful. I thought the interior was clean and comfortable. Most of their tables are huge, so unless there are ten people in your party, you might have to share a table with another family. I ordered N2, which is the grilled pork and shrimp noodle bowl (bún). My bowl was huge and about the size of a basketball. It was definitely two portions, but more likely three. It tasted ok, but I wished the noodles were cooked a little bit longer. My husband ordered B2, which is stir fried egg noodles with beef and vegetables. He really liked his dish and said they didn't skimp on the meat, which most places do. His meal was also at least two portions. We also ordered the fried dumplings. They were ok, but not as good a deal as the entrees. Next time I want to try one of their fresh spring rolls instead. This place is popular and it gets pretty busy, so of course the level of service suffers at times. However, if you take it for what it's worth, I think you will like eating here. read more

Their noodle soup isnt bad but Hue Ky is better, but if you dont feel like driving out to Chinatown or head south to Kent, then this spot is comparable. Oooh, i do enjoy their avocado shake too! That was pretty delicious! Warning tho: if youre getting take out, make sure you check what's in your bag before walking out. They have messed up on my orders a couple times (ordering in english) and more than a few times on my friend's (who speaks fluent vietnamese). So, no language barrier here that we can blame it on. My favorite Vietnamese mom and pop restaurant in Burien! Restaurant is small but gets superrr busy during lunch time. Food there is top notch, I've been coming here for years now and their food never fails me. The chicken fried rice was what got me hooked here, their seasoning is delicious.
