    Bun Bo Hue

Yum!!! I was thrilled to hear they offer Bun Bo Hue now. NEW MENU ITEM! It was delicious and more authentic than others as it also came with the Huyet (pork blood cube) - I'm sure you can ask for it without it if you don't like it. Broth was dark & flavorful with all of the accompaniments. I also got the chicken wings which were delicious as well! The garlic and other veggies add a nice flavor and the saltiness was perfect! Will be back!

I wish I could give it a higher rating. Service was ok, not the best though considering there wasn't too many people seated. Food was ok but they did give a lot of it was very full by the end of the meal. It was kinda gross I did notice at the end of our meal that my cup of water was super dirty on one side which means I was drinking whatever didn't wash off.

This restaurant was excellent! I loved the pho & appetizer. The chicken fried rice was good too. The service was good & helped our needs like more water/plate/utensil. I recommend to anyone who wants a nice, cozy, and delicious pho place.

This restaurant has been a favorite of ours for some time. They have a great menu with a variety of quality well prepared Vietnamese dishes with an array of vegetarian options, too. What we did not know until our 50th wedding anniversary which we celebrated there last night,... Pho Vina and staff can throw a great party! We were able to arrange a gathering of nearly 40 family members in a portion of the restaurant which they set up for us. They even provided some decoration and a photographer on their own. We had not requested the level of service they provided nor the bouquet of flowers they gave to my wife. The level of service they provided was above and beyond.

I've been here probably 5-6 times I'm surprised I haven't left a review yet. The food has always been good! The crab rangoons are delicious, but a little more expensive than I think they should be. The pho is fairly standard but nothing wrong with that. The music is always great imo. Their prices have gone up but that's happening everywhere.

Staff are so amazing, kind and attentive. I had the Chicken Pho with extra veggies and it was absolutely delicious. Very comforting. Two others in our party got a beef pho and the only complaint was wishing they had gotten a bigger size for one of them! Shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce was very refreshing. We asked for extra peanut sauce and they were NOT stingy, very generous with the sauce. We also got the crispy egg rolls, yummy. Prefect setting for rainy day, especially with the sweet staff. They made me want to come back and try different dishes.

    HORRIBLY OVERCOOKED WINGS! Like RUBBER!

Really great pho and Chinese dishes. They have a vegetarian menu, which I like. I had a Chinese vegetable dish that was just amazing.

We got the Phnom Penh Kuy Tiew, Seafood Lort Cha, and Beef Skewers along with Sugar Cane Juice and Mango Smoothie. My Seafood Lort Cha was delicious. It was a bit oily but having it with the fish sauce combated it. The pin noodles were so much fun and bouncy to eat. The sugar cane juice was also refreshing and it was just freshly squeezed in front of us. My sister enjoyed her Phnom Penh Kuy Tiew, it had a rich pork broth similar to eating babaw. The Mango Smoothie probably wasn't as fresh though. I didn't taste it but my mom thought it wasn't. Lastly, the beef skewers. They were not as good and seemed a bit old tasting? The meat was a bit tough and the texture seemed off. I was satisfied with my dish though and might come back if I'm ever in the White Center area again to try their Nom Banh Chok Buffet.

I suspect they are a family business with mom as the cook, plus a son and a daughter as servers, which was the case on a quiet Sunday. The son as the server was bubbly and amicable as I asked questions about popular and favorite dishes. The food is excellent and flavorful, with plenty of leftover foods. Parking is readily available along the streets. The Food and Drinks: Beef Loklak Rice Plate, $20 - 5 Stars This is a hardy dish with flavorful pieces of beef, a fried egg, fresh greens, rice, and a bowl of soup. This dish by itself is a substantial meal. With the sides dishes we ordered, half of this went home. Lort Cha or Fried Pin Noodles with prawns, $20 - 4.5 Stars Available protein is seafood or beef. I requested prawns only, which they accommodated. Served with a side of fish sauce in a squeeze bottle, the server said to apply all over the dish. He also said this is his favorite dish. The food has very good wok hei like a Hong Kong noodle dish. I had plenty of noodles left to make a second dinner after adding veggies and protein. Beef Skewers, $18 - 4.5 Stars Five good size skewers with a dallop of pickled veggies. The seasonings are very distinctive. Oddly, the flavor reminds me of some Chinese style beef jerky. In any case, these are smoky, savory, and yummy. Papaya Salad, $16 - 4.5 Stars They use all the real, authentic ingredients here, including bits of tiny baby crabs. Be careful if you have sensitive gums. Sugar Cane Juice, $7 - 3.5 Stars I would think sugar can juice are all quite similar, but they are not. I didn't like theirs as much for some reason. It was a bit murkier. I probably won't order this in the future. Coconut Coffee, $7 - 5 Stars Our server recommended this. Coconut and coffee sound weird together, but this drink is a winner. Very unique, a touch of sweet, potent like a Viet coffee, and very distinctive. Thumbs up. They are probably closer to 4.5 Stars. Rounding up to support a family business.

Been going here for several years now - poke has always been solid and the Hawaiian dishes were good not great. But today it was all different - everything was outstanding! Wife got a 2 salmon scoop poke : fish was great as always, but the seasoned potatoes (gamja jorim) she chose as 1 of 3 sides was very good. Dad had the hwae-dupbap (think of it as Korean bibimbap but with poke instead of meat) and the Cho-gochujang sauce was excellent. I had the loco moco and it was better than in the past. Also the banchan with that were fire (seasoned japchae noodles, spicy shredded radish) both better than in the past They sell most of the side dishes as banchan and as a Korean I fully endorse them. I am a huge Korean banchan snob and I will absolutely countersign their cooking I don't know what's going on but like I said - everything tastes better than before. Almost all of the seating is long, about 16 persons. I have had fine roasted duck soup at a very reasonable price in other reviews. Ducks are small, so a lot of bones. Duck is not cheap. This spot duck was mostly bone and gristle. There is Chinese cultural value in eating meat with bones, but I don't like bones. The skin is an essential in roast duck, but it had been soaked in broth and lost its flavor. I have had noodles at many places. This was wafer wheat noodles. You can look up their menu, it is not expensive, but it is not notably cheap. The Yelp menu photos were nothing like the current, a vinyl shield over paper book of several pages, so are outdated. Inside it was clean, dark, and the staff were fine. But it is a decaying chaos of piles and abandoned decoration inside and tagged outside. I strongly refrain from negative reviews of small businesses. When a major media outlet hypes a dive business, and when their readers are anti-customer reviews, I need to review when I visit. I have sympathy for the family, but I fear the business is not sustainable. Go there and support them! Tung Kee Mì Gia is a dive Vietnamese restaurant with Chinese influence, ample parking, and take out - in person, or order ahead, in White Center.
