    Shrimp and Steak Pho

Solid place for pho around the 99 Ranch market area. The people inside are very kind and the service is always quick. It's a usual go-to when I'm looking for comfort pho near home. :)

Excellent customer service Food came out super quick Good variety for those who like soup versus dry items Tables were far apart from each other, it didn't feel cramp, plenty of space to move around The kids menu is quite excellent It wasn't too noisy, typical of Asian restaurants Price was great considering the portion we got. Would definitely come back

The service here is friendly. They have a wide selection of food here. I haven't been here too often but it was my first time back in a few years. The noodle soup lacked dimensions in flavor. It wasn't really flavorful but the meats in it tasted fresh and was cooked well. I just think the broth needs to improve but everything else in the dish was cooked well. Personally wouldn't get this again, I had to add sauces in to try to improve the taste.

I went here with my mom during peak lunch hour on a Friday and got seated quickly. Menu consisted of regular Vietnamese dishes, and we both got the duck vermicelli noodle soup, along with a side of egg rolls. There were four pieces of egg rolls in one serving, and they came out hot and fresh. The duck noodle soup was our favorite, mostly because they provided a LOT more duck than in other Vietnamese restaurants we've had. The portions are smaller in terms of noodles and soup compared to those same restaurants, but the flavor profile was awesome. The duck meat was also high in quality too. From what I heard, this place is under new management from what it was before. The inside has tons of seating though the walls are plain white, making the place a lot brighter. There is one TV near the cashier playing music that isn't too loud, so this restaurant works pretty well even for larger groups.

Went to go have lunch and we came across this spot so we wanted to try 1. We got extra large steak 2. Got a bowl on the side and used it for one other and shared it was a pretty good sized extra large definitely for two people !

Food: I ordered the Bún riêu, it was tasty and piping hot. The waitress was able to accommodate for no pork blood which I appreciated. This is the perfect place for a large gathering or dining solo. People are only here for one thing and that's good food. Service: fast and friendly people. Ambiance: wide open seating and plenty of room between each tables, clean silverware.

Replaced the last Vietnamese restaurant (pho to chau) Pho my chau offers a lot more variety in terms of noodles and appetizers My absolutely favorite is the pork spring rolls that came with fish sauces, it's sooo refreshing- the pork was hot- warm while the rest is cold warm. But when we came back for dinner a different (red) pork spring rolls was served with peanut butter sauce. It wasn't bad but wasn't what I expected. Tip- ask which one they have before you order. Server and cook was very nice about it and explained to me they have different versions. The restaurant feels bigger and more opened than it was before when it was pho to chau The kids menu was big and I liked they had the meat cut up already so I didn't need to do it

I'm always on the hunt for good pho and have tried almost every spot in the Kent area. This spot is legit and I'm excited to have a spot to come back to. - Flavorful broth that's well balanced. Isn't spice forward or beef forward, just very tasty and balanced. Slight sweetness that is welcome and not too much at all. - Tender beef and good amount of meat for the price. Tendon was melty, meatballs were bouncy, tripe was fresh. - Great texture on noodles! Not overdone and doesn't fall apart. - They offer hot tea for free. - Restaurant is spacious and clean! The waitress let everybody seat themselves wherever they want so it was great to have some distance away from other guests especially during cold and flu season. Waitress was also very friendly, attentive, and quick. - They even have their own clean restroom for diners, separate from the mall ones. This restaurant is located inside the 99 ranch market complex, to the right of 99 ranch. Compared to other nearby popular spots: - much more flavorful than Pho Cat Sang where the broth is very light - better balanced and less sweet than Pho Saigon Garden which is flavorful but too sweet for my preference - more balanced with spices than Pho Lam which is very yummy but really beef forward

If you're ethnic Chinese/Asian looking for true Taiwanese food that'll give you a ratatouille moment, this isn't it. We went on a weekend late night dinner and the place was decently full. We were the only Asians there and the rest of the patrons were Westerners. That should tell you everything you need to know. Ambiance and service was 5/5. Very clean, hip restaurant in a safe part of Seattle. Perfect for a date. More than half of the wait staff was Chinese as were all the kitchen staff from what we could tell, so if you spoke mainly Chinese, you'd be fine and they would be familiar with Taiwanese food. Portion sizes are smaller and pricing matches, respectfully, so you can try different things. I'd say as an adult, you could order a couple plates and you'd be more than full. Food was 3.5-4. Sorry, I can't confidently rate it any higher than a 4. We had to try the beef noodle soup 3.5/5. Broth was good. Vegetables were romaine lettuce which wasn't authentic, but fine. Beef was definitely on the leaner side and definitely tougher (maybe because it was so lean), so maybe this was to cater to western tastes? Noodles were ok... too similar to ramen for our tastes... and that was a comment several of us made, independently. Onion pancake was 3.5/5. Meh, nothing too exciting. Beef sandwich was a dud. 2.5/5. Skip. It was like they took an onion pancake and used it for the roll/skin... pretty oily. Vegetables were just chopped lettuce. No cucumbers or cilantro from my memory, but it's been a few days so maybe I'm not remembering correctly. We also had different xao-long baos (they only had one pork left), cold peanut butter/cucumber noodles, dumplings, spicy cold cucumbers... and they were all 3.5-4ish. Nothing crazy. In the end, again, if you're looking to just get a broad taste of Taiwanese food, this is it. If you're looking to get a genuine taste of Taiwan, this isn't it.

Potential customers, be aware of the pricing before ordering…read more The food at Greatest Thai Restaurant was delicious, but I was extremely disappointed by the pricing and lack of transparency. I ordered a beef salad, chicken satay, and a side of rice. The dine-in menu I was given did not list any prices, which I found unusual, but I didn't think to ask before ordering. When I received the bill, the beef salad was $25, the chicken satay was $15, and the side of rice was $5. The chicken satay is listed online for $10 before tax, so I was surprised to be charged $15. The final total was significantly more than I expected for these three items. I regularly order these same types of dishes at other Thai restaurants and typically spend under $40. I would have been perfectly fine paying more if the prices had been clearly posted, but being presented with significantly higher prices after ordering left me feeling taken advantage of. My advice to future customers: ask for the price of every item before ordering, especially if the menu doesn't show prices. Again, the food was good, but the pricing transparency needs serious improvement. I hope the restaurant addresses this because customers should know what they're going to be charged before they order.

Solid 3.5/5. Food…read more(2.5-4/5). We had 4 grilled pork vermicelli with egg rolls, 1 pho tai with beef meatballs, and 1 spring rolls. Vermicelli was a 3.5 as it was fresh and a good serving (4) but the grilled pork was on the cooler side and didn't taste as crisp and fresh off the grill as you'd expect (3). Best part of the pho was the broth as it wasn't too salty like it can be sometimes elsewhere (4). Veggies were super fresh. Sliced beef was previously sliced and the whole chunk was placed in so you had to tease apart the slices from each other which was a little different than my experiences elsewhere. SKIP THE SPRING ROLLS. Picture had three shrimps/roll. Ours had 1/roll on one side with a slice of pork (I think) on the other. Seemed pretty skimpy if you ask me (2.5 at best). Service was good (4). Location was in a small strip mall with a Mexican and Indian place next door. The bars over nearly the entire front storefront were definitely interesting. For an out-of-towner, this part of Kent seems like a Santa Ana/Westminister/Garden Grove of OC, CA kind of an area with different ethnic offerings up and down the street.

My issue was the sanitary aspect or shall I say the lack there of. I mean it's one thing to see a couple hairs on the floor ya know but wow the amount of hair and debris in the floor looked like they hadn't cleaned in weeks. There was a a whole clump of hair under our table and hair hanging from the chairs. I dropped my daughter's blanket on the floor and my husband picked it up and he it had a pubic hair on it. The tables were not wiped off and the bathroom was a disaster zone. I mean if this is what they think their customers should deal with can you imagine what the kitchen looks like. The food was ok but I'm gonna be honest it's not something I would pay for again when there are other options that at least care enough about their customers that they actually keep the place clean and sanitize. I won't come back but if you don't mind eating in those conditions then it's your choice.

Luckily I saw Pho T & L was open and I've had this place saved for a while so this was the best timing to try them out. We arrived and it was pretty busy and we weren't sure if we seated ourselves or someone else seats us as it took a few minutes for us to get noticed. After a little of standing awkwardly near the entrance, someone noticed us and motioned us to sit near the check out area which you do need to go up and pay rather than wait for someone to drop off a check. We were given waters and menus and given a decent amount of time to decide what we wanted. My friends got a lemonade with tea, Thai tea, shaking beef and combo vermicelli while my boyfriend got the shaking beef and egg rolls and I got the Bun Bo Hue and spring rolls. My boyfriend got his egg rolls and I didn't get my spring rolls until after everyone's' order came in so I have a feeling that the employee who took our order forgot or the kitchen forgot. There was no apology or anything for it either. I got my food first, after several minutes the shaking beef came out and after another a while my friend got his vermicelli bowl. Luckily we weren't pressed for time but it made it awkward as we didn't get our food at the same time and it took a bit to get them. I am a slow eater so I guess it worked out that I got mine first but I also didn't receive my spring rolls until I brought it up once we received everything else. The food was phenomenal and our friends said their drinks were perfect too. I did enjoy my Bun Bo Hue, though I did make it a bit more spicier with their chili oil. They have plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate all party sizes. They do have a bathroom but you have to go through a long, scary hallway to get to it. The tables have probably the cutest container for their chili oil but I appreciate that they have napkins, sriracha, hoisin, and utensils on the table. The employees don't really check in often and they didn't really come by to fill our waters until we were down with our meal. The service was also pretty much non-existent, it wasn't rude but just felt rushed and cold.
