This is one of the best pho broths that I have ever had in Washington, very flavorful and comforting! The portions and prices are very fair with the large combination pho in comparison to other pho places. The toppings were pretty generous too, as I usually have to ask for more from other places. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly by staff members and told to seat ourselves anywhere we liked. I love how quaint and adorable the decorations were in the restaurant. It definitely set a cozy vibe while we were there. As we sat down and looked over their menu, it was nice to see how concise it was as I get overwhelmed when there are too many choices. Our server dropped off us a cute transparent water carton with two cups that had ice in it. The main reason I knocked off one star was due to the server was staring at us awkwardly and even came up to us a bit awkwardly before taking our order. It felt like we were being rushed, although I later saw he went on his lunch break after he dropped off our pho bowls. My boyfriend and I both got the same thing but loved our bowls so much. I pretty much finished most of my broth which isn't common for me as often times, pho broths are way too salty and makes me drink more water than the broth. I didn't even add too much chili oil as I wanted to preserve that amazing beef broth. The meat amount was very generous and the pieces were pretty big unlike other places that give you cut up pieces. I'm so sad that Pho Lam is far away from me as I can still taste and smell the broth when I think about pho. I highly recommend checking them out!

    Combo rice plate with chicken

I just finished shopping at h.k. market right next to it and I wasn't even hungry but I just didn't want to go home to my family yet lol so I came in and ordered the combo rice plate with chicken and I freaking annihilated that plate. The side broth was hot and warmed me up, the chicken was grilled and the shrimp cake was my favorite! I thought the shrimp cake was gonna be like a ramen style with the pink swirl in the center but this was like a pocket stuffed with shrimp then deep fried, it was delicious! I'll can't wait to come here again :)

I hesitate to review Pho Lam, as today is my only experience - I stopped and ordered "take out" - Spring Rolls and Fried Chicken Wings, certainly not a comprehensive measure of a restaurant with such a broad selection of entrée's. Nonetheless, a few observations are noteworthy. The Spring Rolls are huge and very freshly made. The peanut sauce is somewhat watered down, not the creamy peanut-forward flavor we usually expect. There are, however, a complexity of flavors (ingredients) in the Spring Rolls, that elevate them over other restaurants. $5 for two, with peanut sauce, is a fair price. The Fried Chicken Wings (6 ea per order) were a highlight. They came with a typical sweet chili dipping sauce which I didn't open because the natural flavor of the wings was delicious. However, $8.99 for 6 wings was high in my opinion. There just wasn't enough meat in the wings. The presentation of the food was excellent. The facility was clean. The young man who waited on me was really helpful, went out of his way to open the door for me and bring the order out to my car. It appears Pho Lam has been open for a year, gaging from comments by several who were here on opening day. The number of 5-Star reviews from people with no picture, all near the opening day, is suspect. Especially considering they've only written one review and live farther away. Based on my short and limited experience, I think 4-Stars gives Pho Lam the benefit of the doubt. I hope other elite reviewers will add their thoughts.

    Pho Rib Beef
    Tim T.

The place has a great tasting soup and their portions are generous. Amazing beef rib, the bone makes the flavor unbelievable! The place doesn't look much from outside but if you need a good size quality Vietnamese food you will love it!

    Kids meatball pho

Flavor was fine but nothing spectacular. Portions were ridiculously small. The kids meatball pho was 1 meatball cut into 3 pieces. The steak had one slice of steak. Shrimp fried rice was about 3 shrimp cut up. Will never go back. Total rip off.

Delicious chicken breast pho. Didn't come with as many veggies my gf gave me those from hers.
    Trav H.

I got the chicken pho and requested chicken breast chicken, not sure if they normally use that, but it was really good and I'm glad I asked! The broth was... slightly... I definitely wouldn't say bad but it was different than any other pho broth I've had and I couldn't put my finger on why/what it was about it. It didn't seem as rich maybe. The server was nice. Overall happy with it though! My pho didn't have many veggies in it, my gf gave me half of hers because she gets full quicker, so it'd been nice if there was more veggies in the soups. I really was happy when I left though, just giving some criticisms.

Wings. Could not check in on Yelp because said I was too far away. Ordered Ubereats
    Jessilyn C.

Ordered Ubereats to deliver. My first time trying this place. There are so many Vietnamese places to dine at. Including down the street from my house. But I like to try different ones. This place disappoints. First the wings. I like ordering wings whenever places have em in the menu. This I'm sad to say, the wings have no flavor what so ever. Not even salt! Only way you can try to make it tasty is to use the chili sauce they send with it. Also, a bit in the overdone side. Not juicy like other wings I've tried, including the ones I make at home. For being overdone you'd think at least it would be crispy on the outside. And the bahn mi. I've had great tasty bahn mi, and I've had bad tasting bahn mi. The grilled chicken one has had was not good either. At least they listened and didn't add jalapeños. But come on...The chicken was so dry it was tough to eat, also no flavor. What's a bahn mi with no flavor?!! Parts of the cilantro looked dark and almost old. The kind I throw out. I didn't get that umami taste you normally get with bahn mi. Would be the vinegar/fish sauce dressing or the pickled veggies. That would've helped with the flavor. I think the only good thing about it was the bread destined and tasted fresh. That's why I gave a two star to be fair. After paying over 30.00 for these two dishes, I don't think I can support this dining location again.

Had the beef rib pho, was some of the best food I've had in the Seattle area. Can't wait to go back, friendly service as well.

Only four pieces of meet not a lot of veggies. I was expecting at least a bit more than this.
    Sergio R.

The taste of food was very average, there was barely any meat in our meals that each cost over 15 dollars. I was very disappointed and won't be getting from here again. My pork rice plate literally only had four pieces of meat. My girlfriend's pho was bland and hardly tasted like pho. There are other places that give you more portions for cheap. Overall not happy about my second experience here.

Vermicelli. Salad with teriyaki chicken absolutely delicious.

Most delicious Vermicelli salad, lite refreshing an filling. I took a chance based on Yelp reviews an this place is a winner. I will be back to try something else

Upon arrival on the rainy day i was offered water or warm tea and opted for both. Nothing better than that combo for me. Ordered my usual... Pho with rare steak, tripe, tendon and added meatballs. Broth is flavorful, as with anything you make it how you want after the initial taste and i only add limes and chili oil with the added basil. Nothing else. Fun fact: sriracha and hoisin are meant to be on the side to dip in, not poor into the broth. Also what makes me come back here is the Pork Patty Spring Rolls. The added crispy crunch on the inside makes these next level with the dark Romaine and just enough noodles to not overwhelm them like other places. A little added tunes whether traditional or not would be great. Or maybe the sound from the TVs playing food videos from around Vietnam would be cool. The silence was actually a could change up with the air conditioning and sound from the kitchen cooking. Great experience and glad i finally got to come in here!

There were a few people picking up at the time we entered, but nobody else dining in. When one of the servers came with our cold waters, we placed our food order right away with her. We got two orders of the Pork Patty Spring Rolls, a Kids Meatball Pho, a Combination Pho, a Grilled Chicken Noodle Bowl and a Vietnamese Pancake. After about 5 minutes, we got the Pork Patty Spring Rolls. Every single time we order them, they taste so good!!! Hits the spot whenever we visit this restaurant. Probably our favorite dish, actually. After we devoured the Spring Rolls, our entrees came out - Combination Pho and the Kids Meatball Pho. Then a few minutes later, the Grilled Chicken Noodle Bowl came out. I normally like to pour some Sriracha and Hoisin Sauce into my Noodle Bowl along with the sauce it originally comes with. Mixing everything in all of that makes it that much more flavorful for me! Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the food and the service. The Pho broth seemed a little bland and not seasoned as well as before. Other than that, all of the other food items were tasty and to our liking. The restaurant itself has ample amount of space to sit at since there are plenty of seating and tables available. Parking outside is good, there are plenty of spaces to park at as well. There used to be a Big 5 Sporting Goods store, but since that's gone, parking hasn't been an issue at all. They have pretty decent Vietnamese food for reasonable prices and adequate portions.

Luckily I saw Pho T & L was open and I've had this place saved for a while so this was the best timing to try them out. We arrived and it was pretty busy and we weren't sure if we seated ourselves or someone else seats us as it took a few minutes for us to get noticed. After a little of standing awkwardly near the entrance, someone noticed us and motioned us to sit near the check out area which you do need to go up and pay rather than wait for someone to drop off a check. We were given waters and menus and given a decent amount of time to decide what we wanted. My friends got a lemonade with tea, Thai tea, shaking beef and combo vermicelli while my boyfriend got the shaking beef and egg rolls and I got the Bun Bo Hue and spring rolls. My boyfriend got his egg rolls and I didn't get my spring rolls until after everyone's' order came in so I have a feeling that the employee who took our order forgot or the kitchen forgot. There was no apology or anything for it either. I got my food first, after several minutes the shaking beef came out and after another a while my friend got his vermicelli bowl. Luckily we weren't pressed for time but it made it awkward as we didn't get our food at the same time and it took a bit to get them. I am a slow eater so I guess it worked out that I got mine first but I also didn't receive my spring rolls until I brought it up once we received everything else. The food was phenomenal and our friends said their drinks were perfect too. I did enjoy my Bun Bo Hue, though I did make it a bit more spicier with their chili oil. They have plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate all party sizes. They do have a bathroom but you have to go through a long, scary hallway to get to it. The tables have probably the cutest container for their chili oil but I appreciate that they have napkins, sriracha, hoisin, and utensils on the table. The employees don't really check in often and they didn't really come by to fill our waters until we were down with our meal. The service was also pretty much non-existent, it wasn't rude but just felt rushed and cold.
