My boyfriend and I love coming here to eat and to have a relaxing afternoon. The guy who's normally there is super sweet and attentive, the food hits the spot we normally get the number 1 for the Pho (we love spicy hence all the Sriracha) and today we tried the bbq pork sandwich and egg rolls, so yummy. It's a spacious place inside so we feel comfortable in our little corner to enjoy a show and eat at the same time. Thanks for the service ;)

overpriced with bad portions & bad service, wouldn't recommend. The place is dirty & the cashier/owner on his phone, big up charge on card fee.

came to eat here for lunch with friends was disappointed in service, i've been here quite a few times and normally it's never to bad, but today food quality wasn't the best, There wasn't enough pho noodles in my soup, And was told if i wanted chicken pho it would be a 45 min wait. As well as having to pay more with debt/credit card. They offer a 4% off discount paying cash but charge more when paying card. My friend also was asking questions and i'm guessing the owner raised his voice tables were sticky as well as floor and baby chair

I got chicken katsu for $15.99(plus tax & tip), I asked for siriacha and he said it would be 50 cents extra for each tiny pack. no utensils or napkins were given. The katsu had little to no chicken. Mainly the breaded part. The service wasn't good. The old man was rude.

This is a COVID-era review. Reason why we chose this place: they have vegetarian broth! (we had some vegetarians in the group) I though the pho was good. Devoured the large easily. Broth was good and same with noodles. Didn't really order anything else. The beef was good too (though I wish there was more since I ordered a large) If you want water, the staff will fill up your cup for you (or you can order from the fridge). There is a restroom so that's good. For parking, the establishment is in a plaza so it shares a parking lot with the other businesses like Safeway. Super easy to park. The owner seems super nice and he's all about getting your order and making sure you are able to fill up your belly. Great place!

Not a good spot for Teriyaki... but might be for Pho. The beef teriyaki tasted and looked like it was just warmed up the day before & the salad was starting to brown. I probably wouldn't go here again but the service was good.

Mom and pop restaurant. I ordered brisket pho and fried gyoza To go. Now, I did re fry the gyoza at home because I like mine extra crispy. But the flavors were amazing. Tasted fresh. Just wish that there was mint included in the pho toppings.

Came in to joy pho to dine in. Seemed to be only 1 person in the front and 1 person in the back. We ordered our food 35 minutes ago. Still hasn't come. Wish the guy in the front would have said it would be a while before we got our food- we would have gone somewhere else to eat. Ridiculous amount of waiting and on top of that, 5 tables are full of plates and cups, from customers that have left that the workers have not yet cleaned up; Hardly anywhere to sit because of this. poor customer service, expect to wait for your food, lack of communication, and im about ready to ask for my money back and go somewhere else at this point.

Wife was craving some pho and we searched auburn for a place to eat pho. Disappointing, worse pho ive had and i love pho. The prices are absurd. I ordered a spring roll. It was like 4 inches, i wanted more peanut sauce and it was $1 for more... Stay away.

To go pho with everything.

Joy Pho & Teriyaki: Came here on a whim was picking up a pizza at Round Table next door. Ordered to go, a large pho with everything. Like other reviews the place is a little pricey for the portions that you get. The pho was okay nothing special. I left for about 10 min and came back and my order was ready. That is a plus for quickness. The person working maybe the owner handed me my food while talking on the phone. As he handed me my food proceeded to keep talking on the phone. I sat there and kept looking at him since I wanted a chili oil for my pho. He kept talking on the phone and doesn't even bother to acknowledge me after giving me my food. I just sat there for almost 5 min while he keeps talking on the phone. He can't even acknowledge me. I probably won't be back cause they don't really care about service or even an acknowledgement. It's not that hard to say, can I help you with anything else...lol apparently it is there...I hope everything has a better experience that I did...

I brought my husband here, since it was open later and my usual spot wasn't. Half of the tables were dirty and not cleaned up, but the guy working the tables and counter was really nice and proper. The broth was okay -- nothing to write home about. My husband liked his fried rice and we are happy that the rolls are traditional Vietnamese rolls, and not Chinese food type of rolls. The potstickers were good, but again, nothing crazy. It's a good place to go to if you're in the middle of a craving.

Sigh. This pho was so underwhelming. The broth was like water, completely bland. I asked for extra green onion, and you'll see what I got in the pic. I asked if I could have more and he told me the woman in the kitchen said no. They also were out of fresh basil but didn't mention it when I ordered. The grilled chicken spring rolls I ordered were just thrown together. Even the peanut sauce tasted watered down. Definitely should have gone somewhere else.

A Bug with wings and Server said it was black pepper

Don't go there.Found bug in broth and gentleman tried to deny it and say it was black pepper.Got our refund and Never going there again.

Is the pho vegetarian no meat broth?

I've heard him say there is an option for that. It is a special request.

I think they usually mostly cater to lunch customers because they closed at 6 PM. I asked the employee what the most popular sandwiches were and she told me it was definitely the crispy chicken bacon banh mi. We ordered that and a spicy pork shrimp banh mi. Both were excellent! I really liked the bacon one more and my partner really preferred the pork shrimp one more so it worked out. Both were a 10/10!!! Crispy fresh fluffy bread. Not stale at all. And about $35 for both sandwiches and a can of Coke. Beware that crispy chicken will cut up the roof of your mouth though. It was worth every bite!! And they were so big that I could only eat half. Saved the other half for the next day and it was just as delicious. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town and it's not too late.

My favorites are the Thai chili shrimp & pork bao and their spicy torched shrimp & pork rice. Their portions are generous and they do not skimp on the meat. The only criticism I have is that the bao bun does start to fall apart getting soaked with the juices from the meat and sauces. Food is usually ready within 5-10 minutes. A very casual spot to grab a meal with ample amount of seating if you choose to dine in. There is some parking directly in front of the store but there is more towards the back. Definitely recommend this spot!

There were a few people picking up at the time we entered, but nobody else dining in. When one of the servers came with our cold waters, we placed our food order right away with her. We got two orders of the Pork Patty Spring Rolls, a Kids Meatball Pho, a Combination Pho, a Grilled Chicken Noodle Bowl and a Vietnamese Pancake. After about 5 minutes, we got the Pork Patty Spring Rolls. Every single time we order them, they taste so good!!! Hits the spot whenever we visit this restaurant. Probably our favorite dish, actually. After we devoured the Spring Rolls, our entrees came out - Combination Pho and the Kids Meatball Pho. Then a few minutes later, the Grilled Chicken Noodle Bowl came out. I normally like to pour some Sriracha and Hoisin Sauce into my Noodle Bowl along with the sauce it originally comes with. Mixing everything in all of that makes it that much more flavorful for me! Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the food and the service. The Pho broth seemed a little bland and not seasoned as well as before. Other than that, all of the other food items were tasty and to our liking. The restaurant itself has ample amount of space to sit at since there are plenty of seating and tables available. Parking outside is good, there are plenty of spaces to park at as well. There used to be a Big 5 Sporting Goods store, but since that's gone, parking hasn't been an issue at all. They have pretty decent Vietnamese food for reasonable prices and adequate portions.

Upon arrival on the rainy day i was offered water or warm tea and opted for both. Nothing better than that combo for me. Ordered my usual... Pho with rare steak, tripe, tendon and added meatballs. Broth is flavorful, as with anything you make it how you want after the initial taste and i only add limes and chili oil with the added basil. Nothing else. Fun fact: sriracha and hoisin are meant to be on the side to dip in, not poor into the broth. Also what makes me come back here is the Pork Patty Spring Rolls. The added crispy crunch on the inside makes these next level with the dark Romaine and just enough noodles to not overwhelm them like other places. A little added tunes whether traditional or not would be great. Or maybe the sound from the TVs playing food videos from around Vietnam would be cool. The silence was actually a could change up with the air conditioning and sound from the kitchen cooking. Great experience and glad i finally got to come in here!

I've confirmed with the staff that they don't use msg because the soup tastes so good! Combination pho (5/5) Unbelievable taste, lots of flavor, soup came out piping hot and lots of fresh ingredients and meat. The noodle itself is also cooked perfectly. Vermicelli with pork and egg rolls (5/5) The pork is very tender and tastes delicious, the sauce that comes with it is not overly salty and you don't need to pour so much since the noodles and ingredients taste very flavorful already. She mentioned a few options and I decided to try their passion fruit tea with passion fruit topping. When I got the drink. I took a sip of it and the sweetness from the sugar was so overpowering i wanted to spit it out. I wish they had the option for 50% sweetness. I also shook the cup prior to mix it and it was still, that sweet... Also, it had a strange medicine like after taste. Im not sure if its from the passion fruit tea, or the topping, but it was not appealing and ive had many passion fruit teas at other places that did not taste like this. I can only speak for the fresh, passion fruit tea, but it was pretty awful, overlt sweet with a strange aftertaste. They do not have any milk substitutes, so if you want a milk tea drink, and youre lactose intolerant, you're out of luck.
