    Spicy Pho
    Bhanu C.

I've visited this spot twice now, most recently for dinner with friends. I had the spicy beef pho and the chicken bánh mì. Personally, I liked the bánh mì--it had a nice flair--but my friend thought it could be improved, especially the pickled veggies. The beef pho was flavorful and satisfying, though not the best I've had. Still, the location is convenient for when a pho craving hits. The service was very slow and the tables weren't assigned in the order of arrival. The ambience is relaxed

Good service, portion size and broth. The restaurant was pretty clean as well. The wait for food was about 20-25 minutes. We got the egg roll at 6:06 and the main dishes at 6:24pm which was a little hard for the little ones since they were hungry. The pho was ok but very little meat for the price the meatballs were cut up and there were 2 pcs of cartilage about 1 inch each; same for the once pc of ham 1 inch. I got extra noodles on the side and it came with no extra broth either. I probably won't be coming back because it wasn't the best and it took a while.

Visited on a Monday evening and they were not so busy. They had about two other parties present so tons of room on a weekday. I ordered a Spicy Pho (Medium) and my husband ordered a Chicken Pho (Large). Both took a bit to arrive, but they tasted so good. My husband was able to finish his and I barely finished mine. The medium and large arent that noticeably different, but based on observation we think the large is a deeper bowl than the medium. We ordered banh mis to go for lunch the next day. Whatever sauce they put in their banh mis, is definitely a good addition in flavor. We also ordered bubble tea. They were okay, just super sugary. Overall, I recommend! Its worth coming back to!

I am very very picky about food places like this, it's important for food to be good, place to be clean and service to be good, this place is 10/10

Discovered this little spot when in town for a sports tourney. The banh mi was amazing and the pho was delicious, as was the rest of our meal. The service is very friendly and prompt and the restaurant itself is very cute and welcoming. Def would go back!

I would say the pho is good enough for this area. I did try the broth and it was good. It's not 100% authentic but I think it is enough to scratch the itch. My friends all liked it. What I did get was the Vietnamese coffee and it was pretty good. I also got the ham and shrimp roll. The ingredients used was tasty but I was disappointed in the thin sandwich sliced amount of ham. I'm used to having it in a much thicker slice. They were being very conservative with the ham I felt. It would be a lot more enjoyable if it was thicker. I also thought it was expensive for how small the roll was because you only got one. I was hoping for 2. The service was good. The waitresses were all very nice. I thought it took quite a while for them to bring out all our food. I'm used to seeing pho be brought out pretty quickly. The decor of the restaurant is absolutely pretty. I think how they decorated the restaurant is my favorite out of all the vietnamese restaurants I've been to. It's very bright and appealing.

We just moved and have been trying all of the new pho places in the area and decided to give Pho&Mi a try since it had amazing reviews and boy were we let down. We ordered to go since we had a sick kid at home and when we picked it up the bag was sealed tight so I couldn't easily check the contents. When I got home and opened the bag I was shocked at how little food was provided for the $14 a bowl price tag. That's a fairly standard price for pho in our area but there was so little meat I actually got out my scale to weight it-and I only got .8oz of meat! Anyone who orders pho knows the quantities of meat vary place to place but this was only one full mouthful of meat. My husband got the combo and his was incredibly sparse too but I didn't weight his up. A standard quantity of meat is like 3oz I would estimate tho I feel most places do it by feel more then weight. The broth itself was overly sweet-it was like they pre seasoned with hoisin sauce. I didn't add anything to it and it tasted like I had added too much hoisin. The few bites of meat I had were delicious tho and tasted fresh. The basil and all the sides were incredibly wilted, black and pasta prime. They also had to call twice to clarify my beef pho order that I had placed directly on their website. That would normally not bother me too much except it lumped in with the paltry portions was nail in the coffin

Finally found a pho spot with a delicious broth that contends with a place that my husband and I had gone to since before we even became parents. Went here with one of my sisters and my youngest. I thank God for the kindness of our server, Chelsea. The exchanges were refreshing and you could really tell she enjoys her work Sister and I were talking about how the service really does enhance the food experience. One gripe I have is that the price of two fried rolls is a bit too much. Paying a little over $4... Aside from that, I don't have much else to complain about. My main entree was a medium size brisket pho. As I was eating, I thought I probably should have ordered the large for just $1 more, but as I ate the soup down and started to drink the broth, I was satisfied with the M. If it be the Lord's will, we gon go back!

    Gyoza
    Gabrielle W.

Delicious. The gyoza were perfectly crispy and fried to perfection without being greasy and you could tell the pork and vegetable filling was super fresh. Also generous portion size, most places give you 4 pcs but this was more like 10. Bahn Mi was also great especially for only $9. And super nice staff!

Came in for lunch. The restaurant is clean, modern, and very cosmetically pleasing with the beautiful wooden panels. The waiter was very friendly. However I feel like only 2 employees were working the whole restaurant so the service was kind of slow. The large beef pho was delicious. We ordered the large. However it felt more like a regular portion. The vermicelli had a lot of fresh veggies, pickled veggies, and a good portion of the grilled pork. The portion of the vermicelli was also more on the small side. Overall, the food is great but portions are a little bit on the smaller side the customer service was a little slow but super friendly. Everything tastes great. I would highly recommend it.

The food was very comforting on a cold day. The soup of the pho were perfect and not too salty. The vermicelli was definitely enough for two people because the portion was so generous. I forgot to take a picture of the fried rolls but those were amazing as well. The staff were so sweet and helpful. There is plenty of parking in the plaza.

The soup base is too mild and no beef broth flavor. It tastes like water, and the beef is tough.

The vibe is perfect for that--low pressure, relaxed, and easy to just sit down and focus while you eat. One thing I really like is that you can order right from the kiosk at your table. The staff still brings everything out and makes sure you're taken care of, but there's not a lot of back-and-forth unless you want it. After talking to people all day for work, I honestly appreciate that more than anything. That said, if you prefer a more traditional experience, they're happy to take your order too--I saw them do that for another table with no problem. I usually get the brisket pho, and it's always really good. This time I also tried a fried roll that came with this super pink sauce that I was honestly a little skeptical about at first--but it was so good. I ended up dipping everything in it, even my brisket. Definitely getting that again. Overall, it's just a really solid spot with good food and an easy, comfortable atmosphere. I'll definitely keep coming back.

YESSS!! This is THE place for Vietnamese food! They are indeed authentic!…read more I have been missing the smell and taste of staple Vietnamese dishes ever since I moved out of California a few months ago. I used to receive Mom's vietnamese home cooking frequently and I lived near the Asian hubbubs with easy access to all the cuisine, but now I have to discover new places here in Washington to satiate my taste buds. Everything I've tried so far has been good. I've been content. But here!! I ordered takeout through Doordash, and as soon as I picked up my food, an aroma of so many flavors filled up my car. Parking is kinda annoying since it's on the street but I arrived within 30 mins of opening hours so it wasn't terrible yet. The restaurant already had at least a table or so, with customers, so I wouldn't be surprised if it got busier later. There's a fair amount of space and tables for hungry stomachs! The food was about ready by the time I arrived, and the 30 min drive home left me feeling famished and ready to dig in. Thankfully, I was not disappointed. Everything was packaged well so that nothing spilled during the car ride, and everything was so yummy! I ordered more than I originally intended... I was craving com tam (broken rice) and couldn't find a satisfactory place near my residence, so I drove all the way here to Tacoma.. and then I figured, I might as well order their Banh Xeo too! The photos online made it look so good, and it ended up tasting amazing! Slightly crispy and stuffed just enough with bean sprouts, meat, and other goodies. Perfect after drizzling some of the sauce over it. The Com Tam was also made well, and definitely hit my cravings with its classic ingredients. I ordered a Large Pho Bo Vien (meatball) for my son, and was sooo tempted to eat some myself. The broth smelled fresh and the noodles were cooked nicely. Decent portions for everything, too. I definitely need to return to try out more of their food. So far, it has made me one happy Viet gal :)

We were headed to Tacoma and I came across VK Viet Kitchen on Yelp. Food looked great and reviews were plenty enough. Table is free for all as long as it's available. Once we sat down, the owner came to talk to us pretty quickly. He asked if we've eaten at the restaurant before and how we found out about them. They're a long time standing business around the area, so even on a random Wednesday lunch hour, most of the tables were full. The menu is extensive! There's a lot of menu items that are new to us, but between the three of us, we got the Green Apple Salad with Tofu (S1) and Crab Meat Fried Rolls (A18) to share. My partner got the Bun Rieu Tom Cua (V4) and my brother got the Bun Bo Hue (V3). I opted for Hu Tieu with Soup (P15). The green apple salad was pretty good. It's got a lot of tangy flavor to it because they used green apples and they mixed in a lot of apple slices. It also goes surprisingly well with the tofu and it's nice that they cut up the tofu into bigger matchsticks to match the apple slices. As for the Crab Meat Fried Rolls - these were really nicely fried. Nice, crunchy outer exterior and lots of crab meat in the inside. The pickled veggies was a nice palate cleanser. Finally, for my Hu Tieu, the soup was amazing! It's a nice, light, clear and nourishing broth. It's comforting for the chilly day. They provided a lot of pork liver, kidney, shrimp, squid, and even a quail egg in there. I like the addition of chives as well. Awesome Vietnamese restaurant to take a lunch break at. Employees were friendly and efficient. It was also really nice of the owner to talk to us and just get us comfortable. I've bookmarked this place for the next time we come visit Seattle!

I don't live nearby, but I ended up grabbing a stamp card, so there's a good chance I'll come back eventually for the drinks alone. I ordered a chrysanthemum tea with boba along with a banh mi. The drink was probably the highlight of my visit since it was super refreshing, flavorful, and made pretty quickly too. Definitely quenched my thirst. The ordering process was a little awkward though. There was one guy working the front and I had a hard time hearing/understanding him at first (maybe he was speaking too quietly?), but it became easier once we switched to Vietnamese. He also didn't seem to recognize the drink I wanted even after I gave the menu number, so I had to point it out on the menu before he could ring it up correctly. I'm guessing he might've been new. The banh mi took longer than expected considering the place was empty, probably because from what I could see, there was only one lady in the back making food. Taste-wise, it was decent but nothing especially memorable for me, and the size felt smaller compared to other places I've ordered from. I think the banh mi only came in one size. Usually, I'd order a Large so maybe that's why this one seems small. There were at least a couple tables inside so I could sit and wait. I still had a good experience though and would come back mainly for the drinks because that chrysanthemum tea was genuinely really good. They have tons of options so I wanna try out their other drinks too.
