Bun Bo Hue
Victor W.

Overall: 10/10 Food: 10/10 I got the Bun Bo Hue and the soup was savory and spicy and it should be. There was plenty of meat and the noodles were cooked perfectly. It was served with the traditional blood cake inside. For an appetizer we got the pork spring roll which came with a peanut sauce dip which was delicious. Service: 10/10 Service was fast and water was brought to us as soon as we sat down Atmosphere: 10/10 This is a no frill Viet restaurant owned by a family

Ordered door dash, just so you'll have perspective. I ordered a large pho with brisket and meatballs for $17.00. It wasn't good and they didn't even give me a whole meatball for the additional $1.00 charge. The soup was very oily and the amount of soup was for a small - they even put it in a small bowl container. I won't be ordering from here again...I know times are getting hard but I used to spend $5 for a large pho and I'd get a lot of food. Now we are getting charged a significant amount more for less. The photo is of the small order - I placed my kitchen shears near the food box as a marker in size.

When in the Seattle area a few months ago, I ended up sick as a dog. And I look to Pho as a remedy. And I did and ended up at Pho Kim. Walked in and I was the only customer. I contemplated going elsewhere but that would mean having to look for another place and then driving there. Remember, I wasn't feeling well. Greeted and was invited to take any seat. Service from that point was excellent. Odd for me to be saying that about service at a Vietnamese restaurant as I'm used to the lack of at the joints by me down in Southern California's Little Saigon. Anyway, I was sucking down liquids, and refills came without even needing to ask. Pho hit the spot. Spring rolls were what I'd consider standard. See pics. Cleared both the plate and bowl. Pics are deceiving. Doesn't look like a lot but I was filled and would have been even if I wasn't drinking liquids like a camel. I won't go so far to say this competes with my go to spots here in Southern California, but I will say, that if I was craving Pho, and if I were in the area again, I'd stop by. Even if I wasn't feeling sick.

"Absolutely the best pho I've ever had! Incredible flavors, fresh ingredients, and amazing service made this a top-notch experience. I'll definitely be coming back for more--highly recommend to anyone who loves pho!" love this place

Pho Kim is a small Vietnamese restaurant which was good, went for lunch today. We got the Beef, Veggie Tofu Noodle Pho, and Tofu Banh mi sandwich. Food and service was good, 3 star because I felt it was over priced, all 3 of them were $40. Inflation is real, but this real? I would have to think if I would like to go back again to this place.

I wasn't going to leave a review, but this is the third time they've disappointed me. The first time I ordered to-go and the broth spilled because of the container they used. The second time the broth was extremely oily and didn't taste good. And the third time I paid $21 for a can coke and a "small"pho that was supposed to come with everything, but it only had tendon, tripe, and steak, and it barely had any of it. Maybe 4-5 small pieces of steak and only 2 pieces of each of the other. Honestly, I'd rather order from Pho Tai instead. At least over there my money feels worth it.

Suppose to be sliced eye & Sliced Eye Round Steak Pho (Tai) this what I got. Noodles in this container ohh my my

Zero stars!!! Rarely say anything with bad service this was over the TOP!!! I ordered via DoorDash the order was not right. So I called the keep blaming DoorDash of taking things out the order. So I said after to many minutes on the phone with them, I I will bring the order in. One i ordered two pho- no sprouts, mint, lime or sauce for the pho. Ordered grilled chicken they gave me red sauce crumbled chicken. Get there explain what was wrong egg all over their face looking at what I ordered vs what they sent do not DoorDash fault. Asked for fresh grilled chicken, rude lady took the food and told them to scrap off the whatever it was and give grilled. Ma'am please make it fresh. And fixed the other beef pho too. This lady grab the bag out my hand like ohh my gosh. Them tells me she did not get paid by DoorDash and took the food after paying $63. The rude Owners and old lady wanna be bodyguard acted like it was my fault. When there two options fix the food fresh or give a refund. Grabbing food out my hand is unacceptable. I did not get pics of all the food but here's one Stay away from this place you've been warned

Looked like mostly a takeout location as there were only a few small tables. Service was quick and sounded like the bun Bo hue was a popular item given the number of takeout orders there was. The pork chop was a thinner cut than usual but very flavorful. The smoothies were good but would not recommend the boba (texture was mushy and not chewy).

Does anyone know if this place has changed ownership recently?

I'm not sure if it's technically the same owners or not, but from what I was told, the people that worked there (before summer 2017) have moved back to Vietnam. However, even with their new employees, their Pho is still the best I've ever had! ?

Do thru have true vegetarian pho. No meat broth?

Another Mom & Pop establishment!…read more Love the family vibe of this Pho restaurant and the Boss is super friendly even though he is all by himself at the front! We went for the House Special and their Ultimate Oxtail and Rib Pho ... both were substantial, without knowing their size of Pho we went ahead and ordered our regular Salad Rolls! The amount of food was amazing! Broth was served super hot ( which is a must for Pho ) and also very flavourful! The surprise was their super tender Oxtail and Ribs, meat were so tender they felt like marshmallow! A very satisfying meal indeed!!

We came off a flight at Sea-Tac hoping to find something to satisfy everyone before the long drive home: The eye round and flank beef pho definitely hit the mark. Broth was more simple than some phos I've had before, but it had a very satisfying and fresh flavor and the beef quality was good. My husband ordered the mixed beef, and not having had tripe before wasn't a fan, but still enjoyed the other meats in the dish and overall flavor. Egg rolls were excellent and the fried rice was a favorite for my 10 year old. My 12 year old sampled and loved every dish equally. The owner was exceptional and waited on us like a one-man show he was warm and friendly us and our kids. The wait wasn't long, but he surprised our kids with chocolate after dinner for waiting patiently and smiled and joked with everyone in the restaurant and he moved around the restaurant. The restaurant itself isn't anything too exception in terms of looks or presentation, but the food and family feeling to it has definitely earned the respect of locals getting take out. We'll add it to the list of great places to stop.

Service was very friendly and attentive. Ordered the combo plate and skewers to split with 3 people and there was enough food. The skewers were def my fav with such a good flavor and very soft. It's also located in a plaza with other businesses with a shared parking lot. The restaurant itself is pretty small. At most, you can probably seat a total of 14 people. I would not recommend coming with a large group of people. Keep it four people at max or take your order to go. Not sure if this is typical practice for this restaurant, but we ordered and paid for our food first at the register before claiming a table. I mention this because there was only one person working. He was cleaning the tables, taking orders at the register, cooking, fulfilling to go and dine in orders, and bringing the food out for the dine in people. He was very apologetic with the delay on the food, but all the customers, including us, did not mind waiting and understood the circumstances. My boyfriend ordered the Combination Plate, which consists one of the boneless stuffed jumbo wing, one of the coconut quarter chicken, two of the kroeung meatballs, and steamed banana leaf sticky rice topped with chopped fresh herbs, fried garlic and a side of pickled vegetables. I ordered the beef skewers with rice, vegetables pickle and spicy sauce. My sister ordered the beef with tirk prohouk (Khmer spicy fermented fish dipping sauce) served with toast crispy rice and topped with fried garlic, fresh herbs and vegetables. The food was amazing! It was definitely made with love and care. We would definitely recommend coming if you have never had Cambodian food before!

I used to really enjoy this restaurant when I lived in Federal Way. My wife and I ate here often,…read moresometimes more than once a week, and I recommended it to family, friends, and co-workers. We especially enjoyed the crawfish boil. One weekend, I ordered a crawfish boil to go, and my wife and I were eating it while watching a football game. During the meal, we found a small coiled piece of metal inside one of the crawfish. We thankfully noticed it before swallowing. I took a photo and brought it to the owner's attention. She spoke with the cook in Vietnamese, and I understood them say that the metal came from the wire brush they used to clean the crawfish. The owner told me the same thing. I wasn't asking for anything. I simply wanted them to know because it was a serious food safety issue. I was surprised that I didn't receive an apology or any reassurance that they would address the problem. I gave the restaurant another chance and returned a few more times, but things never felt the same. On one visit, the owner and her mother discussed the incident while looking at me, which made me feel uncomfortable for bringing up a legitimate concern. I wasn't trying to cause trouble, just hoping to help prevent something like that from happening to someone else. While the food can be good, because of both the food safety issue and how it was handled, I can no longer recommend this place.
