Had a worm in my bowl of pho. Maybe silk worm? When I told the staff they tried to convince me it was star anise. Like bruh, I know what star anise looks like and that is not it. Language barrier was not the issue here. Gross. Hygiene issues are the worst.

Fresh rolls were torn. What an upset

My last review was from 3 years ago. This joint is down the street from work for me. I thought really hard and decided to give this place another chance to see if there were some improvements from the last time. Seems like this is a husband and wife business. I called in my order and a nice lady took my order. I ordered a special pho and an order of fresh rolls with shrimp. I brought the food back to work and opened the box with the fresh rolls. Behold... the rolls were opened like a taco. The rice paper was torn on both rolls. I was a bit upset because it defeats the purpose. I tried to hold it sternly like a taco so nothing came out, but it was a little difficult. The second roll, I just ate the shrimp and called it good. I'm not sure if they knowingly do this for to go orders... or maybe the rice paper just breaks after it's made..? I saw this happen to someone on an earlier post... but just thought it was a 1 time thing. The pho broth was nice and hot, and there was plenty of meat in the box. For me, the broth could of used a lot more flavors. It was more on the bland side. My order did come with utensils and hoisin and siracha packets instead of little plastic containers like most places. I'd have to say their customer service is good. The decor is clean, simple, and spacious. I just think they need to improve on their flavors. Then again, that's just me, but compared to all the other pho I've had, theirs would be toward the bottom of my list. My star rating stays the same, simply because of the food and their service. They seem like very nice folks, and I'd love to support local businesses, but it's hard when I disagree with the food.

Hugh portion for a good price. Their pho is piping hot unlike some other places where it's like warm. Great customer service. Owner is very warm and welcoming. Very accommodating to customers. If you are thinking of a large pho dac biet make sure your extra hungry otherwise other one for 2 people

Took the gang out to grab brunch. Of course, half way to the restaurant my son fell asleep in the car. So, I called them ahead to order take outs. Got us an order of pork patty rolls, combination banh mi, combination pho and combination rice plate. The lady told me 15 minutes. OK, deal! Got there within 10 minutes, so I waited in the car. Came in 5 minutes later, which is 15 minutes, right? She said it's not ready yet. All good, went out in the car waited some more. Took them about 25 minutes to get the whole order done, all good, I understand, I got 4 orders on my plate. BUT....there wasn't anyone else she's serving, and it was around lunch time!! What was the hold up?! Then as I was paying, I fired up my nifty, little restaurant.com app where I had purchased this 2 months ago, it says, "Spend $30 from Monday-Thursday, get $15 off." And today IS Thursday! The lady goes, "We don't accept that. Everybody comes here with that certificate and we don't accept it." DAFUQ!?! Am I trippin' or is everyone else feelin' the same when they got rejected from the restaurant lady? If you don't honor it, then don't pay your advertisement on restaurant.com!!!!! Nuff said, all good, I paid for my meals. I got kids to feed and they hungry! Pork rolls were good it came in two rolls, I like the sauce, my daughter loves it. The banh mi was ok, they didn't warm it up like the other banh mi spots, lacking on the butter spread, my daughter thought it was yummy. The rice plate was not bad, my son ate a lot of it, so at least he thought it was satisfying. Pho was above average, but not great. Both my daughters said it was delicious! Well, that was the first trip to this restaurant and probably will be the last trip. It didn't knock me off my feet. Just sayin...

First time here.

Woke up to snow this morning and cold. For lunch I wanted soup and Pho was the ticket. I found this place while driving by. It is located in a strip mall. There was only one other group eating when I arrived which is a red flag to me. I want a restaurant that is busy during lunch time. I ordered the Spring roll Appetizer and the Combination Pho. The spring rolls were very good. The Pho did not have as much protein as I expected. The flavor was good and I was full when finished. One of the reasons the place was so empty was it was very cold. Turn up the heat during the winter. I will try this place again but only when I am here during the warmer months.

I'd like to highlight the humbleness of this pho restaurant. Two elderly couple that run this restaurant and they were so kind to me. The lady was extremely friendly and having lunch here was enjoyable. The location is great for lunch time. I ordered the pho dac biet and a Vietnamese coffee. First thing is that I had to try the broth. That's how you know if it's a great place if the broth is on point. It absolutely is. Tastes just like grandmas cooking. The Vietnamese coffee is great! Not super sweet but absolutely perfect and the mixture of the dark and semi sweet texture. The cleanliness is spot on. They take COVID precautions really carefully. If you're in Kent, definitely try this place.

Upon arrival on the rainy day i was offered water or warm tea and opted for both. Nothing better than that combo for me. Ordered my usual... Pho with rare steak, tripe, tendon and added meatballs. Broth is flavorful, as with anything you make it how you want after the initial taste and i only add limes and chili oil with the added basil. Nothing else. Fun fact: sriracha and hoisin are meant to be on the side to dip in, not poor into the broth. Also what makes me come back here is the Pork Patty Spring Rolls. The added crispy crunch on the inside makes these next level with the dark Romaine and just enough noodles to not overwhelm them like other places. A little added tunes whether traditional or not would be great. Or maybe the sound from the TVs playing food videos from around Vietnam would be cool. The silence was actually a could change up with the air conditioning and sound from the kitchen cooking. Great experience and glad i finally got to come in here!

There were a few people picking up at the time we entered, but nobody else dining in. When one of the servers came with our cold waters, we placed our food order right away with her. We got two orders of the Pork Patty Spring Rolls, a Kids Meatball Pho, a Combination Pho, a Grilled Chicken Noodle Bowl and a Vietnamese Pancake. After about 5 minutes, we got the Pork Patty Spring Rolls. Every single time we order them, they taste so good!!! Hits the spot whenever we visit this restaurant. Probably our favorite dish, actually. After we devoured the Spring Rolls, our entrees came out - Combination Pho and the Kids Meatball Pho. Then a few minutes later, the Grilled Chicken Noodle Bowl came out. I normally like to pour some Sriracha and Hoisin Sauce into my Noodle Bowl along with the sauce it originally comes with. Mixing everything in all of that makes it that much more flavorful for me! Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the food and the service. The Pho broth seemed a little bland and not seasoned as well as before. Other than that, all of the other food items were tasty and to our liking. The restaurant itself has ample amount of space to sit at since there are plenty of seating and tables available. Parking outside is good, there are plenty of spaces to park at as well. There used to be a Big 5 Sporting Goods store, but since that's gone, parking hasn't been an issue at all. They have pretty decent Vietnamese food for reasonable prices and adequate portions.

Luckily I saw Pho T & L was open and I've had this place saved for a while so this was the best timing to try them out. We arrived and it was pretty busy and we weren't sure if we seated ourselves or someone else seats us as it took a few minutes for us to get noticed. After a little of standing awkwardly near the entrance, someone noticed us and motioned us to sit near the check out area which you do need to go up and pay rather than wait for someone to drop off a check. We were given waters and menus and given a decent amount of time to decide what we wanted. My friends got a lemonade with tea, Thai tea, shaking beef and combo vermicelli while my boyfriend got the shaking beef and egg rolls and I got the Bun Bo Hue and spring rolls. My boyfriend got his egg rolls and I didn't get my spring rolls until after everyone's' order came in so I have a feeling that the employee who took our order forgot or the kitchen forgot. There was no apology or anything for it either. I got my food first, after several minutes the shaking beef came out and after another a while my friend got his vermicelli bowl. Luckily we weren't pressed for time but it made it awkward as we didn't get our food at the same time and it took a bit to get them. I am a slow eater so I guess it worked out that I got mine first but I also didn't receive my spring rolls until I brought it up once we received everything else. The food was phenomenal and our friends said their drinks were perfect too. I did enjoy my Bun Bo Hue, though I did make it a bit more spicier with their chili oil. They have plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate all party sizes. They do have a bathroom but you have to go through a long, scary hallway to get to it. The tables have probably the cutest container for their chili oil but I appreciate that they have napkins, sriracha, hoisin, and utensils on the table. The employees don't really check in often and they didn't really come by to fill our waters until we were down with our meal. The service was also pretty much non-existent, it wasn't rude but just felt rushed and cold.
