Chicken banh mi and rare steak pho combo with lime and peach iced tea. Soooo delicious
Kim C.

I had been wanting to try a banh mi and am glad I followed the reviews here. This place is a hidden gem with amazing prices. Service was so quick and friendly. I ordered the banh mi and pho combo with the lime and peach iced tea. Everything was so delicious and I loved the tea, I wish it came in a larger size. Everything on the menu looked delicious. This place is close to the mall and I can't wait to become a regular here and bring friends. It's very casual and great for lunch since they're so fast, even if the dining room looks full.

Location was odd, I felt like we were coming into a warehouse space and then Bam! a restaurant. Came with a party of five, plenty of spaces to sit at. I suspect they might be low-staffed? because many tables were left uncleared for the duration of our meal. The place was tasty! I liked the egg rolls and my house pho, and there was enough food for me in the small size that I didn't end up finishing all the noodles :| (though I did make an effort to drink all the broth, yum). Minor thing where someone in our party didn't get their drink and had to remind them that she'd ordered it, but they were pretty quick about getting it after that. I think she also had a comment about the shrimp in her shrimp bowl. I'd be happy to come here again; would probably get the same thing as I had personally no issues with any of it. :D

Totally out of nowhere, like in some sort of industrial city. The place is quite busy with only 1 person going from cashier to kitchen to table serving customers, and still very friendly and nice. Tea: self served. You get to pick either Jasmine or Ginger tea which are nice. Soup Noodles: Pho - broth was good but on the sweet side. Banh Mi Thit Nuong (BBQ pork) - barely any fillings but the thit nuong was pretty flavorful, other than a little bit on the chewy side. Banh Mi Thit Nguoi (Traditional) - also barely any fillings, worst than the Thit Nuong one, and not good. Probably the most disappointing Banh Mi I have ever eaten. I would definitely order Thit Nuong dishes, if I am heading that way again.

What the heck is this? Who serve spring roll like this? Instantly kills all your appetite! Each roll is the length of half of a shrimp, and stuffed with nothing but vermicelli! Will never go again! Completely a waste of money!

#17 chicken curry noodle. Good flavor, could use more sauce.
Trav H.

Tried this place on a random whim to continue my journey to find the best Vietnamese chicken curry. I must continue my search sadly. Closest they had was #17 chicken curry with noodles. The flavor was very good, not a lot of sauce though, and the noodles seemed overcooked, but it's possible that's how they're supposed to come. I'm not a big noodle person, I stick to rice dishes, but this one was the closest curry dish they had. Overall my experience was pleasant. The self serve water and tea is nice. The man at the front was very nice. A few of the negative reviews for this restaurant are concerning from a food-handling Safety perspective. I may return to try the pho sometime. We'll see.

I thought it's new. Out of curiosity, I followed a few signs in an industrial area & surprised to find a Vietnamese Pho restaurant that was like covered by tall trees. Once I walked in, it's like an old Saigon restaurant that's been there for awhile. Pretty fully seated. Besides faces like Vietnamese there were non-Vietnamese customers. Perhaps they had traveled to or even worked in Vietnam before. A warm welcome by a lady with menu. I ordered a bowl of pho even I also like the sandwich. The food seems authentic and tastes good. There's self service water or tea available. I like that place. Just to watch their operation times, closes at 4 pm as that's an industrial area.

I've heard about this place from my MIL's bestie. She's a great cook, and knows her food so I trust her judgment. I've been wanting to try this place out and probably driven by it countless of times from my Costco run. It's easily missed as you won't notice it since it's in an industrial area. There is a small sign pointing you to the establishment. This place is truly a hidden gem. It was my sister's day and the choice was between this and Vietnam House. After my last encounter with Vietnam House, I rather take my chance. Not going to lie, I wasn't expecting much for service when I come here but what's the odds? I didn't have much to lose. Upon entering the establishment, there's this kind older gentlemen who will tell you to pick a spot. He told us that there's an opening in the corner as it was kind of chilly outside--away from the door. And proceed to tell us to help ourselves with the hot tea or water in the beverage area. Not very common as other establishment as they will get it for you. But I actually prefer this so you can get what you want. The options for tea is Jasmine or ginger tea, and it comes piping hot. Just how I like it. They will come take your order and within minutes a bowl of piping good pho arrive. It was so flavorful and good. The portion was nice! And they didn't skimp on the proteins either! The broth was outstanding. It's a little bit on the sweeter side than other places. Veggies were fresh and they weren't skimpy on it either. We also asked for some sate chili oil to add some spice to the pho cuz why not? The customer service here is outstanding! The gentleman made his way over to the other table and had some friendly conversations with some guests. This place truly display real customer service that Vietnam House should come take notes. Overall, I'm impressed and would totally recommend this place.

I called in for the Pho and Sandwich Combo (13.25) and an Iced Viet Coffee. I got there and they were scrambling around looking for my order so it was a bit chaotic. The worst part and this is why the 2 star rating was the packaging. My mini pho was packed in a tall foam container with a soda lid on it. The kind you put the straw through. So guess what? Soup was spilling out of the top on the way home. Luckily it was contained in the bag. The noodles were NOT packed separately like every other pho place I've been to and I also was not given side veggies. The noodles were stuck in a clump at the bottom and I cracked the container trying to get them out which made a huge mess. This was one of my worst pho experiences. I think they might only pack the soup this way for the mini one. I did see other orders separated with a bag of side veggies so my advice is do not get the combo to go. The sandwich was not memorable. I was wondering if I was eating pork and then I got a random bite of ginger which is odd in a bahn mi. Viet Coffee was watery. I will not be coming back.

Best pho ever! Their broth has a special spice in it that makes their pho so complex and delicious. It is a little sweeter than typical broth but also has other spices that other pho broths don't have. They have tons of different options here. It is a simple layout and you get your food super quickly. I really loved that they offered free tea too. Highly recommend!

The service and food was good. It's casual ambiance. We read some reviews and most of the negative was on how long the wait was for the food to come. The restaurant is located in a small plaza. Parking lot is small and we were able to park easily. Upon entry, we were greeted and were seated right away. We had a window view which was nice. We enjoyed basking under the sun LOL! For starters, we ordered two coffee, cream and sugar while we browsed the menu. The restaurant was pretty spacious and clean. Not well lit or bright. It appeared that one section (rear) was kind of dark. It was a little odd. After we placed our order. It took approximately 45-50 minutes to receive our food. It was quite long. Sadly, our waitress didn't check in to refill our coffee. My daughter ordered the waffle combo with two sunny side eggs, hash browns and two sausage links $20.99. She enjoyed her food. I had a chance to try her Belgium waffle. It was light, airy and good. For my meal, I ordered the Avocado Florentine with carne asada (up charge $5.99) Total $25.99. It looked really delicious however, it was not. Unfortunately, it was bland. No seasoned and no flavor. I added salt and it still did not taste good. It didn't help. I had only three spoons and stopped eating. This has never happened. I had packed up my leftovers for my husband have at it. When my husband tried it, he stated it was bland. I rarely give bad reviews and rarely have bad tasting breakfast. This one hit that for me. =(

I went here with a bestie on a Saturday afternoon for something quick to eat and came across here. Their parking lot and the overall location is unassuming; you wouldn't expect a place like this to be around what feels like a secluded area. Plus the inside is just the front counter, the menu in big print and some small seating (not for dine-in, though). Bestie and I each got their combo bao, which comes with many ingredients like quail egg, jicama, celery, wooden ears, pork and black pepper. We wanted these heated up, and it took about 10 or so minutes for them to be ready. Bestie did also get a mini bao but asked for it not to be heated so he could eat as a midnight snack. As for the combo bao itself, the whole thing could easily qualify as a meal if you get more than one. Each is about $6 each so they are on the pricier side but it's definitely worth having and it's such a unique addition to the Tukwila area! So much so it almost feels like a hole-in-the-wall or a hidden gem... well it needs more exposure than it has!

If you're in the Kent area and looking for a sandwich shop that consistently delivers, Jersey…read moreMike's Subs has been my go-to spot for years now--and for good reason. Walking into this location, the interior is clean, simple, and welcoming. It has that classic sandwich shop feel: bright lighting, an open counter where you can watch your sub being made, and a steady but efficient flow of customers. It's not overly fancy, but it doesn't need to be--the focus here is clearly on the food and the experience. The staff keeps things moving smoothly, and there's a sense of familiarity if you've been coming here as long as I have. I actually made the switch from Subway years ago, and I haven't looked back since. What stands out most about Jersey Mike's is the value. You're getting a noticeably larger portion, especially with a "regular" size, which honestly feels more like what other places would call a large. It's filling, satisfying, and worth every dollar. My two staples are the #13 The Original Italian and the #2 Jersey Shore's Favorite--and you truly can't go wrong with either. The #13 is packed with a variety of meats that all complement each other, while the #2 keeps things simple with provolone and ham, letting the quality of the ingredients really shine. That's what I appreciate most: the simplicity. There's nothing overly complicated here--just fresh bread, good meats, crisp toppings, and a balance that works every single time. Everything tastes fresh, at least in my experience, and you can genuinely taste the difference compared to competitors. The bread has the right texture, the ingredients don't feel processed or stale, and the sandwiches are assembled with care. It's that consistency that keeps me coming back. No matter how many times I've ordered from this location over the years, I've never had an issue with quality. That's rare, especially for a chain. At this point, ordering from this Jersey Mike's has become second nature. I know exactly what I'm going to get, and they deliver on that expectation every time. That level of reliability, combined with solid portions and fresh ingredients, makes it an easy choice. I'll absolutely continue ordering from this location--it's one of those places you can depend on when you want something quick, filling, and consistently good.
